“Melissa is the absolute best!! She took such amazing care of my dogs, I didn’t have to worry about a thing! Excellent communication too! I would hire her again in a heartbeat. Thank you!!!”

“Another wonderful job by Amanda! Our elder dog Chelsea was getting over not feeling well and Amanda cared for her like she was her own. She gave lots of feedback and pics. Showered our Chelsea Girl with attention. Will book again!”

About: I’ve previously worked for another pet service where I took dogs on walks and did drop-in visits. I also have some experience with cats, but I have a 5-year old dog myself. I have experience taking care of elderly dogs as I dog sat for a family friend for a few months and stayed the night at their house once a week. I would take the dog for walks, spend time with him and give him any medication he needed. I love animals and it doesn’t feel like work to take care of them for me. I am a teacher, so I am free during school breaks and on weekends. When I am not working full-time at school, pet care will be my first priority. I will listen to any requests made by the pet owner for what they want me to do, such as letting them out in a fenced backyard or keeping them on a leash. I also have experience crate training my dog and find that can be a safe place for dogs too.

“I've never left my pet's with anyone but friend's and family before so I was beyond nervous. Gerri was understanding of my concerns and treated my Furbabys with love. Would definitely recommend and become a repeat customer. Thank you Gerri!”

“Melissa is simply amazing. We have re-booked her over 10 times for home visits and home sitting our pet, Scott. We all were going on an international trip of ~10 days and we were worried since this was the first time we using someone’s services to stay at home and take care of Scott. Punctuality is Melissa’s virtue and Scott was absolutely comfortable with her. All those 10 days, we were very peaceful and Melissa ensured, with pictures and videos of Scott, that we were always in touch! A very big shout out to Melissa for a fantastic service!”

“Hannah was an amazing sitter! She stepped in at the last minute when another sitter same-day cancelled, and saved me from cancelling my trip. She was very communicative, flexible, helpful, and took excellent care of my dog. I got many pictures and updates throughout the weekend which always puts my mind at ease. I would absolutely book Hannah to care for my dog again, and so appreciate her help!!”

“There are not enough stars to fully convey our feelings of how we felt leaving our Newfoundland, Shih Tzu, chickens and fish with people we had only just met. Emma and Trent were exactly how they described themselves in their Rover Profile. Reagan immediately found Trent’s lap and Peaches was xheckinf out Emma for treats.❤️ Peaches and Reagan were treated exactly how we wanted them to be treated. Even though we couldn’t include the fact we had chickens (and fish) in our Rover profile, Emma and Trent were very receptive to including them in their daily care routines. We communicated on a regular basis using our Group Chat and Emma & Trent were kind enough to send some great pix of the “girls”. I’m sure their time with the girls and staying at our home will be as memorable for them as it was for us. Two days into our trip/their stay, they were hit with a blizzard that dropped 24” of snow. Although our home is beautiful when it snows, they were snowed in. It took 2 days before we could get them shoveled out. They had to clear a pathway for the dogs to go out along with a few other areas. And as if that wasn’t enough, one of the biggest trees in our yard fell onto the chicken coops outdoor area and destroyed it along with the chain link fence. They said they heard a tremendous sound and then they saw it. It was unbelievable. We were able to get my son to check it out to ensure it was secured from predators and that none of the chickens were hurt. Thank goodness was everyone was fine. We highly recommend Emma and Trent to care for your pets and your home and will definitely use their services again. Thank you both!”

“We had Kelly come dog sit in January for a week. She was amazing! Very comforting for us that my dog, Sophie, would be cared for in my home. Sophie is normally an anxious dog. While Kelly was with her, Sophie was completely fine. I really enjoyed the photos of Sophie that Kelly sent me during her stay. Kelly stayed overnight for Sophie, she was very respectful of my home and left it the way she found it. I would highly recommend Kelly for your pet needs!!!!”

About: I’ve taken care of my friends pets when they have been away on vacation and needed a sitter for their dog. The dog has always been walked, fed and taken care of so when they get back from vacation they are always happy with the treatment the dog received I’m working a full time job so I am mostly available on the weekends and during the week I am available in the night time if needed, after 730 or early in the mornings before 8 AM during the week! I am unavailable during the middle of the days during the week just because I’ll be at work I have cared for many pets in my friends homes before. I personally do not have a pet for myself but I have been surrounded by animals my whole life from friends and family

“Kathy stayed with my senior dog and my cat for a few days and followed all instructions and took care of them very well ! She left me updates and the place was exactly how I left it when I got back from my lil vacation! Definitely recommend and would hire her again :)”

About: I began pet sitting when I was 15 years old! I am extremely friendly and highly aware of animal behavior and emotions. I have experience pet/house sitting and boarding for weeks at a time. I absolutely love animals! That doesn’t mean I just love to pet and play with them (which I do) That also means I love to take care of them and make sure they are living in the best conditions possible! This means always having clean water, good food, going on ample walks, being engaged and entertained, cleaning up after their messes inside and out and distributing any medication or special treatment necessary. I am comfortable with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments. I have had a special needs dog as my own pet in the past and know what it takes (time and patience) to make sure they are taken care of. I also know how challenging it can be to trust someone to care of your best friend just as you would! Trust me!! I can’t wait to be your best friend's best friend and a home away from home. Pet care is my main gig. I am passionate and dedicated to making sure your best friend gets the care they need! I love going for walks and cuddling so whatever vibe they bring I can match it! Whether in my home or the client’s, I ensure that the space is pet-proofed by removing hazardous objects, securing any dangerous areas, and providing a clean, pet-friendly environment. If at home, I offer secure, enclosed spaces for the pet to roam freely while being safe. When walking dogs, I always use secure leashes, harnesses, and stay in safe, pet-friendly areas. I provide regular updates (with photos!) to the owner, to show how their pet is doing,
About: I am a receptionist at Rocky Point Animal Hospital and it is my pleasure to care for your dog. Like seriously. I am not intimidated by dogs of any size or breed. Throughout my life I have cared for dogs of every size, flavor, and temperament. Guys, I just really love dogs. I have extensive experience training and caring for dogs, and quite frankly I've watched a whole lot of Westminster dog show. I am happy to walk or jog to help burn canine energy. Feel free to reach out with any additional questions. I'm currently working part-time at a vet hospital, so I have plenty of availability and scheduling flexibility. If boarding or house-sitting I will pop home at lunch to care for your pet. Pets will never be alone for more than 5 hours. And even that would be a rare occurrence. I have a friendly chihuahua mix (8 lbs) and 3 cats, but if needed, I have plenty of room to give everyone their own space. I have an unfenced backyard with plenty of room to romp. Dogs will always be leashed or tethered in yard.
“We had Sonnie of the duo stay at our house with our pups and we’ve never come back from vacation before and had the dogs been so relaxed. Sonnie did such a phenomenal job caring for our animals and our house. We felt incredibly comfortable leaving them in Sonnie’s care after two pre-vacation visits where our pets simply could not get enough of Sonnie. Sonnie showed kindness and understanding, sent us daily updates and pictures. I would definitely hire Sonnie again when we go away or just to let the pups out or walk them when we have a long day away. Thanks so much Sonnie!”

About: I’ve had dogs for almost my whole life! I love to take care of them! I would care for your dog as if they were my own. :) I currently work for a major hospital, and I work a 4 day work week. I have off almost every weekend and 1 day off during the week. I have a fenced yard for running & playing and I live in a great area where we can go for good walks! Your dog would gets lots of pets and cuddles from me as well :)
About: I have 4 of my own furbabies but have had dogs/cat and a variety of other pets my entire life. I started dog sitting for neighbors, friends and family when I was about 15 years old which included walks, meals, playtime and overnight stays. I’m also comfortable administering insulin injections as well as medications. I have a true passion for animals especially Shelter and Rescue pups (although all pups are perfect!) My husband and I even volunteered on our honeymoon at Vialobos Pitbull Rescue! You'll usually find me at a party sitting on the floor with the dog, asking strangers if I can pet their pups, or sharing unsolicited photos of my own puppers. I’m also very active and love pups that don’t mind daily walks or going on a nice run! I’ve found that dogs make the best running buddies. I've raised puppies of my own, pup-sat for puppies and in multi-pup homes and have experience with the sweet gray-faced seniors. I don’t mind assisting with special needs pups, mobility issues, diaper changes or sponge baths, I’ve done it all. I also have experience with all breeds, from the peanut pups to the big ol' pibbles. Don’t let my small size fool you, I can easily pick up a 150lb pup with ease if needed!
“Chris is awesome! He was so easy to communicate with and you can tell he really loves dogs. I do not trust my dog with anyone outside the family, but I do trust him with Chris for 2 most important reasons. He has health issues and needs medication, and he is a runner. Being a Hound, he can even get away from me! It is very difficult to keep him safe. I trust Chris with him totally. I can rest easy when he is with Chris, and I do not have to worry about him being in a crate all day. Thank You Chris for being there for us!”
