“Catherine was amazing with our pets! She truly has a heart for fur babies and goes above and beyond to serve her clients. She was super responsive, helpful when there were some hiccups, and humbly took great care of our whole zoo. I will absolutely trust her & her husband with any sitting going forward, we couldn’t be more happy.”

“Our last minute booking was accommodated without hesitation. Chelsea provided many photos during the drop ins and was very nice to us and our four legged family member. Would definitely use her again when the need arises. Thank you!”

About: I have hands-on experience working with animals through both therapy dog work and my previous experience as an assistant to a veterinary technician. This has given me a strong understanding of animal behavior, health, and how to handle pets with care, patience, and confidence. I’m comfortable supporting pets with different needs and always focus on making them feel safe, calm, and well cared for. Working from home allows me to be a consistent, calming presence for your pet throughout the day whether at my home or yours. I truly enjoy spending that time with them—whether it’s going on walks, giving them attention, or just being nearby so they don’t feel alone. I know every pet is different, so I follow their lead and make sure they feel comfortable and secure, whether they’re full of energy or prefer a more relaxed, quiet routine. I keep your pet’s routine consistent while providing attentive care, companionship, and a calm presence. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or quiet time, I adapt to their needs and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I am also a photographer which could lead to getting some great photos while you are away!
“Melissa and her partner Stephen were very patient when meeting my anxious dogs. They allowed both dogs their own space and time to acclimate to them in a way that made me feel very comfortable leaving them with them for a drop in visit in preparation for a potential long term sit.”

About: I bring years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and temperaments—including puppies, high-energy dogs, senior pets, and shy or special-needs cats. I’m comfortable with administering medications (oral, topical, and injections), caring for pets with anxiety, and supporting senior animals with mobility issues or extra comfort needs. What sets me apart is my calm, attentive nature and my ability to quickly bond with animals. I tailor each visit to fit your pet’s unique personality—whether that means structured play and training for a puppy, slow walks and joint care for a senior dog, or quiet companionship for a sensitive cat. I’m also a bit of a neat freak, so I make sure litter boxes, food bowls, and pet spaces stay fresh and clean. I care for your pets like they’re family—because that’s exactly how they deserve to be treated. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine—I build my schedule around the needs of the fur babies I care for. Whether it’s morning feedings, midday playtime, or evening check-ins, I’m flexible and dependable. I prioritize consistency and create a calm, familiar environment for each pet, making sure they feel secure even when their humans are away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, safety, trust, and respect are my top priorities. I follow all care instructions to the letter, from feeding schedules and medication needs to favorite toys and hiding spots. I make sure doors, windows, and food storage are secure, and I’m mindful of any hazards specific to your home or your pets behavior. I treat your space with the same respect I’d want for my own—clean, tidy, and exactly as you left it. I also provide regular updates with photos or messages, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are safe, happy, and in loving hands.

“We are so grateful to have found Sarah! Our cat is notoriously picky about people and can be a little… let’s say selective with her affection. Despite that, Sarah was incredibly patient, gentle, and respectful of her space. We received photo updates every visit, and it was clear she was calm, comfortable, and well cared for.”

“I cannot express how grateful and delighted I am to have found Ioanna as my dog walker! From day one, she has gone above and beyond in taking care of my beloved fur baby. And a quiet recently added fur baby. Every time Waffles and Rain goes out with Ioanna, they come back happy and content, clearly having had a wonderful time on their adventures. What truly sets her apart is the genuine love and affection displayed towards my pups and the attention to detail in her service. During days of care, Ioanna ensured that Waffles and Rain always had plenty of water and a comfortable, place to rest. On rainy days, we could always count on high spirits and excellent care, never once cancelling due to weather. Moreover, her flexibility and reliability are commendable, accommodating any last-minute schedule changes with a smile. In addition to providing outstanding walks, Ioanna goes the extra mile, sending updates and adorable pictures from the walk and fun times during visits, which always brighten my day. It's comforting to know my pups are in such capable and caring hands. I wholeheartedly recommend Ioanna to anyone in need of a trustworthy and exceptional dog walker. Thanks to her, not only are Waffles and Rain healthier and happier, but we have found peace of mind knowing they’re in such wonderful care. Thank you, Ioanna, for being such a fantastic and compassionate friend to my beloved pups. I’m so lucky to have you!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
