About: I have care for dogs and cats in the Port Jefferson community and surrounding areas since my teenage years. I try to be flexible to meet your needs and I have taken care of four legged friends big and small. Your special friend will be well take care of while you are away. I have varying hours during the summer so I can especially make things work if given times in advance. I am timely and available for whatever you may need. I am willing to travel. About: I’ve previously worked for another pet service where I took dogs on walks and did drop-in visits. I also have some experience with cats, but I have a 5-year old dog myself. I have experience taking care of elderly dogs as I dog sat for a family friend for a few months and stayed the night at their house once a week. I would take the dog for walks, spend time with him and give him any medication he needed. I love animals and it doesn’t feel like work to take care of them for me. I am a teacher, so I am free during school breaks and on weekends. When I am not working full-time at school, pet care will be my first priority. I will listen to any requests made by the pet owner for what they want me to do, such as letting them out in a fenced backyard or keeping them on a leash. I also have experience crate training my dog and find that can be a safe place for dogs too.

About: I absolutely love animals!! I had a Schnauzer named Loki years ago. I decided I wouldn’t have another puppy, but I’ve been having a blast watching other people’s dogs. It’s kind of like a fun uncle type of situation I’ve been thriving on lately. I have tons of experience watching and handling animals. Since my youth, I’ve been in love with nature. I even became an Eagle Scout! I’m passionate about animals and all life in general. I even thought about becoming a vegan, but that’s another topic of discussion… I’m a yoga instructor, so my schedule is very flexible. My free time is spent running, exercising, and studying. You can find me either outdoors or at a coffee shop! I am very communicative and attentive, so you can expect multiple text messages with updates on how your puppy is doing. Expect mini photo shoots!

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for about eight years and have had four of my own — a German Shepherd, a Boxer, a Havanese, and a Maltese-Yorkie mix. I’ve also helped care for my neighbors’, friends’, and family’s dogs when they needed it. I’m comfortable with both big and small breeds and love making sure each dog feels safe, loved, and well cared for while their owner is away. I’m currently attending college, so my schedule is flexible around my classes. I’m available all day Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, after 5 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and after 11 AM on Fridays. I can provide walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship I don’t offer pet sitting at my home as well as dog walking because I already have two dogs and three cats and don’t want to put any animals in a hectic environment. However, I’m happy to come to your home to care for your dogs or cats. I make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their own environment, following all instructions you provide.

Win/win NEW CLIENT REQUIREMENTS - Meet and greets are required to break the ice. Your somepawdy will be hosted in a one bedroom apartment with access to a dedicated dog walking park and tidy bay!
 – A minimum of 5 days notice is required.
 - Your furry buddy must be fully housebroken, neutered/spayed, and provide proof of rabies vaccination. – Cleanliness is important. BOARDING WITH ME I will always try to be as flexible as possible to meet your needs. And my aim will always be to give your pawsome girl or boy all the love and care needed. I have a private, fully fenced dog run at my building complex for your dog to run around in and a comfy home for your dog to relax in! Between walks/playtime, tummy rubs and selfies, it’s going to be a blast!

About: I have pet sit other dogs prior but the one dog that sticks out is my sister’s black lab. Shakira was a black lab mutt with an auto immune disease. She needed twice daily medication and to be taken out side frequently. I work nights as a custodian for a school district ! So I’m available early to mid mornings for walks or house sitting over the weekends. As I have a cat, my number one priority for him is always making sure the doors are shut. He’s an indoor kitty and I ensure that it stays that way. Always guaranteed to have food and water and a clean litter box.
