About: I’ve taken care of animals most of my life. I’m that person in the road saving dogs, cats, birds and reptiles from oncoming traffic or reuniting them with their families. I would love to incorporate my Love of animals into my everyday! I am currently a homemaker, I make my own hours! I can be available on the fly when necessary and I am very easy going. I have a fenced in back yard, live in a quiet neighborhood, I am also ten minutes from the beach! Exercising, playing with and loving on your dog would be my pleasure. My own cat can be placed in a locked room, which is protocol when any family brings their dogs over.

I am comfortable giving oral medications only. Pet care fits into my routine very naturally because I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I am available most weekdays and weekends, especially afternoons and evenings. Since I am home often, I can provide consistent attention, walks, feeding schedules, and check ins without rushing. I live in a small four bedroom home in Coram with a backyard where dogs can safely get fresh air and supervised outdoor time. Inside the home, pets are never left unattended for long periods and I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully. I also have one senior toothless small house dog who is gentle and used to other pets, but I always introduce animals slowly and respectfully based on their comfort level.

About: I’ve previously worked for another pet service where I took dogs on walks and did drop-in visits. I also have some experience with cats, but I have a 5-year old dog myself. I have experience taking care of elderly dogs as I dog sat for a family friend for a few months and stayed the night at their house once a week. I would take the dog for walks, spend time with him and give him any medication he needed. I love animals and it doesn’t feel like work to take care of them for me. I am a teacher, so I am free during school breaks and on weekends. When I am not working full-time at school, pet care will be my first priority. I will listen to any requests made by the pet owner for what they want me to do, such as letting them out in a fenced backyard or keeping them on a leash. I also have experience crate training my dog and find that can be a safe place for dogs too.
