“I found out the day before that I needed a sitter for my 8 month old, yet to be neutered, tank of a puppy, Apollo. Having previously left him with only family members, and only a handful of times, we were a little nervous. When we first got there, Apollo immediately seemed to feel comfortable, not even looking back at me. I received photos a few hours in, and when it was time to pick him up, Apollo was trying to climb into a lap (he’s 75 lbs), and was being praised as a love, cuddle bug! About: Hello loving pet parents! I’m an animal lover with 16 years experience and lots of love to give. I'm 42 and been a fur loving lady since I walked neighborhood dogs as a child. I work from home part time consulting and spend the other half of my time volunteering with animal rescues. Through that, I’ve completed training in dog walking, behavioral training as well as taken dog nutrition courses . I also have a lot of experience with anxious dogs through working in animal rescue/ fostering and understand the extra care required for dogs that have had troubled past. I’ve fostered and adopted several rescue dogs over the years but currently just have my one 16 yr old shihtzu, Sonny who is very laid back. We live with my boyfriend Patrick who also works from home and is also a dog lover. We both love hosting furry friends and are the go to dog sitters for all our friends and family. Some info about our home: 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom one floor apartment inside a quiet development. Across from my apartment there are 2 fenced in dog parks but also quiet streets throughout development for walking which im happy to do depending on your dogs needs. There is also an entire woods across the road with paths through it. When I've watched friends dogs in the past they have really enjoyed taking scenic walks through there. Depending on your dogs activity level, etc I will discuss with you the best walking plan for your dog. Some extras: - 4 different texture/ size dog bed options, all freshly cleaned - access to full sectional couch, one full size bed in spare room that is low to the ground/ convenient for dogs lounging - Air purifier and dehumidifiers: I find also helps dogs breathing while they sleep - 6 different treat. options upon owners approval - Enrichment toy options - Long walk options, walk training upon request - Homemade meals upon request - Pawdicure upon request: paw cleaning, coconut oil paw massage, nail trim if cooperative I make sure to make your pets feel like they are part of our family while they are here 🐾❤️🐾 Pet care has always been a big part of my life. I work in freelance marketing from home so have projects from time to time but other than that I focus on my dogs and giving them the best life as well as my animal rescue work. After losing a pet recently, I have even more time and nothing would make me happier than to spend it caring for other loved furry family members. The development I live in has 2 dog parks and one is right across the street from my apt. There are also walking trails in the woods across the street as well as many paths through the development that make for very nice long walks. I am flexible depending on your dogs needs and have walked/ cared for all types of dogs from highly reactive to special needs dogs who need walking assistance. I am also trained in pet CPR and efficient walking. I also incorporate enrichment toys into my dogs daily lives and would be happy to offer the same to your pets. Currently we have one dog at home, Sonny who is 16 years old but very healthy for his age. He is very calm and good with other dogs, mostly keeps to himself. I have a local animal emergency center should any issues arise, it is 10 minute away.

About: I’ve always loved dogs and have found as of late I am so drawn to them. They bring a joy and fulfillment to my life no job ever has. I have started learning more about training and nutrition on my own in recent months. I have an 11 year old chihuahua nicknamed Napoleon for her lovely chihuahua temperament; whom I’ve raised since 6 weeks and a shepherd - pit mix we welcomed into our family at 6 weeks as well, he’s turned 1 Oct 2023. I make the majority of my dogs food and treats at home. I have 3 school aged kids and a husband who works a lot. I am looking for something emotionally fulfilling as well as something to boost my physical activity, especially in the upcoming cold season. I am available during the day most days from 9-3 and occasional evenings and weekends. Fairly flexible in my availability depending on how local the gig. My pup is super friendly and in training learning to interact with other dogs as well as follow commands. My chihuahua typically keeps to herself she’s so tiny even when other dogs notice her they tend to leave her be. I have a fenced in 1/2 acre as well as the ability to chain them for short periods(specifically escape artists) as well as a large crate and smaller gate setups. I am affectionate and friendly and I’ve never met a dog who doesn’t love me back.
