“Jayne is the best. I needed to get a dog walker after an injury to walk my dog 2x/day for a few months, and could not be more thankful that we found Jayne. She is so kind and communicative and my dog quickly became tuned in to his walk schedule and would get so excited to see her right before she’d arrive. Book Jayne for all of your pup needs! She is definitely our go to from here on out.”

“Thank you so much Katherine. While traveling for work my dogs have been so sad and not eating. Once the see you they get so happy they eat! I’m so grateful for you and your patience with them especially with their reactions to cats!”

“Maria is fantastic. She walks my dog Louie for an hour a few days each week. She shows up on time, makes sure Louie does her thing, and hangs out if there is extra time. 5* would recommend!”

About: I grew up with two little dachshund mixes from age 10-moving away from home. During the lockdown years, I helped my mom train her two golden retrievers, and now our family gatherings have 4+ dogs at every event! Currently, I live with my girlfriend and our cat, Olive. Olive prefers to keep to herself, but we have a dog park on site and plenty of walking routes nearby! I’m currently working part time, so I am pretty flexible on walking/sitting! I love being active, so if your dog likes to be moving, I’m all for it. But if your friend likes to just chill, we can do that too. In our apartment, we have separate rooms that can be opened/closed as needed. We typically let all pet friends roam free, but if you have any preferences, that is completely fine! The dog park is within our apartment complex and is completely gated with double gates.

“Laura was so great! Very communicative, reassuring, and friendly. It was my first time hiring someone from an app to help with a walk and 100% would hire Laura again & highly recommend her to others.”

“We are new to the area and searched Rover for someone close to our VRBO who could take our 8 year- old, chocolate lab, Hunter for a long walk and give him dinner. We found Robert and are so glad we did. We met at a local park for our meet and greet and I knew he would take good care of Hunter. Robert was great communicating through text before, during and after spending time with our dog, which made it easier for us to enjoy a longer evening out with friends. Would definitely recommend Robert to look after your pet.”

About: Hi! I'm a longtime dog owner and lifetime lover of all dogs. When my soul dog passed away in late 2024, I've longed to keep up his legacy of taking long or leisurely walks allowing time for plenty of sniffing, exploring, or just general exercise! I dogsit for my neighbors and friends dogs often, ensuring they're always in the best of hands and catering to each dog's individual needs. I'm available for walks, drop-in visits, and daytime sitting. As my dog was 12 when he passed, I have experience (and a deep love for) Senior dogs and their specific needs. I'd love to walk and care for your pup today! I work from home majority of the week with flexible hours so I am available for morning, afternoon, and evening walks or drop-in visits. I know the importance of making sure your dog is fed or walked on their time, so will always be timely with your requests! I have a small fenced in yard and no other dogs in the home currently, so have flexibility and the attentiveness to care for one dog at a time.

About: I’m an energetic and active dog lover living in Venice, just steps from the beach and plenty of great walking spots. I grew up surrounded by animals, three dogs and two horses, so caring for pets has always been second nature to me. I live a healthy, active lifestyle, so if your pup loves long walks, runs, or beach strolls, I’m the perfect match. That said, I’m equally happy to hang back and provide calm company for more low-key dogs. I’m attentive to each dog’s unique needs, and always happy to follow any special instructions, from extra playtime to a sudsy bath after a longer stay. I work from home every day, so your pup will never be left alone for long. Walks, playtime, and plenty of attention are always built into my day. Your pup will feel right at home here. I live in a house with AC, a cozy porch for lounging, and a friendly dog for company. I always prioritize safety, comfort, and care.

About: Back when I lived in Maine my mother and I would foster puppies. We became the go-to candidates for the Refuge League and would often take care of whole litters at a time. I just moved here, so it’s possible my availability may dwindle once I find work, but for now I am open as can be! I take three classes at SMC, so any time around those will work. My number one goal is to make your dog feel comfortable around me. I always try to establish a connection first and then I can cater to any of your or your dog’s needs. I always keep water and extra doggie bags on me.

About: I've watched our family, friends, and coworkers dogs a few times and loved it. Right now, I don't have any pets of my own, but would love to watch yours while you are away. My job allows me to work from home so if you don't want your furry loved one to spend hours alone in a stranger's apartment bored in a crate all day, I may be a match! I care immensely about ensuring each pet's comfort and happiness while in my care I work from home so I have more than enough open time to take care of any and all pets that need attention and care I always take care of pets by how the owner wants me to. I never take any liberties with any pets to make sure all owners are comfortable.

About: Hello there! I had a former business with my Girlfriend. Pet's Amore! I live around neighbors with many pets and get so excited to see them; the neighbors and the pets, and I can tell by their enthusiasm they are also. I like to tire out dogs by running with them or playing ball. With cats I like to play with them also and pet them, but understand their space. I am a bigger person and able to lift heavy dogs for senior care. I have worked many overnight stays and have experience in Security. Most of all I love pets and always know that if you are a pet owner you are a good loving person. I look forward to meeting you and your pets and sharing love and care. I am fully open at all hours for taking care of your pet and what needs to be done. I can be there in short notice also. I live on a walk street in Venice, so there is a lot of outside options. At a clients home I understand the specifically of each different needs and comfort of your pet

Nicholas G.

“So relieved knowing that my dog who can sometimes jump at skateboards is in safe hands! Lovi loves Nick and probably cant wait to see him again. 10/10!!”

Max C.
“Hi! Before Max moved out west, he was one of the few people my grandma trusted to walk her sheepadoodle in the afternoon. Being a dogwalker in NYC would be a nightmare for me (one or Max’s old friends), I don’t know how he was able to pull it off so well.”

Allie G.

“10/10 would recommend Allie in a heart beat! I know she takes care of Achilles well and spends time with him that he needs while I’m at work. Thank you Allie!!”

Ryan S.
“Let me begin by saying that I treat my dog as my baby and I am very critical of who I allow to care of him. That being said, I HIGHLY recommend Ryan. He treats my dog as if they it’s his own. He is reliable, trustworthy and goes above and beyond. My dog likes him and that means everything to me. It is apparent from the moment you see Ryan interact with your dog that it is not just a business to him. The peace of mind in knowing that my dog is well cared for is priceless!”

Christopher I.

“Hi Rover, I’m happy to recommend my friend, Christopher I for the position of dog sitter and walker. He is incredibly reliable, responsible, and has a natural way with animals. I’ve personally seen how attentive and caring he is with dogs — always patient, energetic, and mindful of each dog’s needs and personality. You can count on Christopher I. to show up on time, follow care instructions, and provide a safe and loving environment for any dog. I fully trust him with my own pets and think he would be a great asset to your team. Please let me know if you’d like to hear more about my experience with him.”

Lynne is a rockstar! Stop scrolling and book! My special needs deaf Dalmatian took to her immediately which never happens. Help her help you, book now!! When she walked in, she made sure that both of the dogs were able to smell her and get familiar with her son and make that agreement that they would meet. Shortly thereafter she sat on the floor to greet both my three year-old and one-year-old Dalmatian puppies. She did not force anything and they were extremely receptive of her. Aside from all of that she is such an incredible human being in general. I am a new customer, but I will be a forever customer. Highly consider elevating your dogs, walking experience or anything else with Lynn.

Chelsea prioritized getting to my dog’s walk early when she got off work early. I learned after that there was an issue with the app, and she still got my dog out on honors system when she wasn’t able to get ahold of me while I was at work. So appreciative of her!
