“Kenneth was an amazing dog walker for our dog! He was patient and kind to my sometimes timid dog. He was very flexible with our schedule and needs. Our dog Bear always got excited when Kenneth came for his daily walks! I would highly recommend Kenneth for any pet services.”

“Really glad I found Maryann! Our dog has not done well during the pandemic. She’s become anxious and reactive around new people and other animals. I could tell immediately that Maryann knew exactly what to do to make KC, our 75 lb Old English Sheepdog, comfortable and less anxious. Maryann understands dogs and was even able to provide useful information about proper dog walking techniques. Also, she’s kind and extremely professional!”

“I cannot stress enough how above and beyond Kaitlyn goes! Unfortunately she was only able to walk my Zeus for one day before we found out he had a brain tumor. Without knowing this, Kaitlyn arrived early for his walk, spent extra time with him after his walk, and was incredibly communicative. She even interacted with my neighbors who love Zeus and updated me when he got a treat from them. I’m so happy she gave him such a great day before all of this happened. It’s obvious she’s dedicated and truly cares for the animals she sits for!”

“Sam has been great with Winston! He loves getting a visit from Sam and Sam had asked all the right questions in order to best take care of Winston and his needs!”

“Abby was great for two early morning walks with my old boy. The weather was not great but he seemed really happy anyway. Abby was also super punctual which was impressive so early in the morning. Ty Abby!”

“Rebecca was kind & communicative! She made sure she knew where everything was ahead of time and took our pup for a great walk and sent lots of updates and pictures. Would happily book her again.”

“Rich is incredible super helpful whenever we go away and also helps me out in a pinch from time to time which has been awesome. His wide array of knowledge with different dogs is super helpful especially with our huge baby Goomba. 70 pounds of pitbull.”

About: I’ve taken care of many different kinds of pets throughout the years, dogs, cats, cows, horses, birds, you name it! I know my way around animals and how to make them comfortable around a new person. I work part time on the weekends, and am looking for this to be a Monday-Friday schedule, I’m available all mornings, and am lenient with nights just give me a heads up and I’ll plan around it. I’ll stick with your pet if need be, I’m more than willing to fill the place of companionship while the owner is away. I can be active and keep your pet out of the house or am fine with keeping them grounded in your home.

About: Hi, I’m Meg! I've had dogs since I was a little child-- and have had dogs with strong personalities, seniors, rescues, reactive dogs, and fearful dogs alike. I'm also a regular at the Bell St Dog Park so I get to see all sorts of lovely pups and engage with them! I am self- employed and work from home, so my schedule is flexible! I generally prefer to keep my availability to 11-5 but if I get advance notice or have a good working relationship with a pet parent, I can work it into my routine differently! I prioritize making sure that your pet is taken care of based on what they are used to. Learning the rules of your home and what the pet is used to is key so they are not frightened or stressed! If a pet is on medication or on special diet I of course will keep to those rules. Adequate water, grooming, walking habits are key so the dog feels safe and comfortable-- I also work with clicker training if a dog feels comfortable with that (my dog had to learn this with reactive training on walks) For walks or in home play, I also have a small terrier who can be a good play buddy-- if your dog would like a friend for company we could test this out, but only if you are interested!

About: While I'm new to professional pet sitting, I bring years of personal experience caring for cats and dogs for friends and family. I'm especially patient and attentive, with a calm presence that helps pets feel safe and comfortable. I've always loved spending time with animals. I'm currently between jobs, so my schedule is very flexible. I'm available for morning, afternoon, or evening visits. I care for pets in their own home, where they feel most safe and comfortable. I follow your instructions closely to keep feeding, litter, walks, and routines consistent. I provide calm, loving attention, playtime, and updates so you can feel at ease while you're away.

About: I have worked with dogs in a professional setting at a doggy daycare and was able to experience a wide range of ages and temperaments. I can very effectively control a room full of dogs, even when there are aggressive, anxious, or antisocial dogs. I can clean up any mess, will do everything necessary to retrieve contraband from a dogs mouth, and am capable of correcting any undesirable habits if desired. Additionally, I have had my dogs for nearly my entire life. I have experience with doggies post-operation, medicating, giving IV fluids, doggy diapers, cleaning up accidents, and emergency situations. I love any type of dog and enjoy playing with them and keeping them active. I am well prepared for any situation regarding the health, wellbeing, and happiness of your pup!

“Mae was really great!! Super responsive! Loved the detailed notes she gave and brought me some peace of mind!! Def recommend her and will probably rebook her in the future! Thank you Mae!!”

“Our shy little Ziggy warmed right up to Rin for our first walk! We appreciated the punctuality, communication, and enthusiasm- it's clear they love spending time with pups!”

About: Life-long dog owner and lover with experience pet sitting and walking! My dog has his trick title, and I would love to help your dog learn new things while I spend time with the little buddy. If your dog is friendly, I can even walk them together for some social time if you want! We have a lovely home with lots of toys and comfy places for your pup to hang out, crated or free roaming. I have been a foster dog parent and I have taken care of all types, from little springy poodles to plodding old beagles, to sleepy recovering collies. I have been a go-to pet sitter for friends for their large dogs, too. I swear if you ask me to I will read literal storybooks to your dogs. I will draw you mega cute portraits of your dog. I will take your dog on local adventures. Heck, I will talk to your dog about ethics if you want me to. I will try to train your dog do this trick: Me: "how's life?" Your dog: "ruff" There are infinite possibilities. Your dog and I will star in a montage where you're dog learns to play basketball. I'm so psyched to meet your dog right now. I’m reliable and I have a flexible schedule for the remainder of the summer. I spend most of the day at home, and when I’m stepping out your pup is encouraged to snuggle up on my bed. Some important requirements for dogs who stay at the house! -Dogs must be house trained -Dogs must either be happy in a crate, or trustworthy/non-destructive when not in a crate -Dogs must not show aggression towards other dogs or cats -Dogs must either be under 50 lbs OR dogs must be trained not to jump on people/put teeth on people, or pull uncontrollably on the leash I have a relaxed summer schedule and will spend much of my day with your dog! Dogs go out first thing in the am, get breakfast, have s longer walk in the afternoon, and go out before bed (please specify specific schedule needs if this doesn’t work for your little guy). Usually I incorporate some training during the evenings while we hang out at the house! Pets are generally fed morning and evening. Walks are provided periodically throughout the day. Play time happens a number of times a day, and dogs can play fetch in the yard!

“Setting things up with Anne was super easy. She took care and consideration of my pups and their needs. Definitely am going to have her walk the pups again when I have the need!”

About: From naps to zoomies, I’ve got your pet covered while you’re away—snuggles, playtime, and the occasional treat included. They'll have fun while they wait for you to return. I'm currently working remotely with a flexible schedule, so my work can be adjusted to fit the pet's needs rather than the other way around. I strive to replicate your pet's regular routine and favorite play activities to the best of my ability, based on your needs and recommendations for your little loved one.

“Baeli was incredibly accommodating - when our flight was delayed she made time in her schedule to come back one more time! Will definitely use her again if we can!!!”

“Heath was great with Jasper! Jasper warmed up very quickly and clearly enjoyed his walk. I received lots of pictures and a detailed description of the walk. We will definitely use Heath in the future!”

About: I understand the importance of trust and punctuality when leaving your pet in the care of others. I am committed to caring for your animals well, and communicating with you regularly. I have a large partially fenced yard with a dog run. My home is five minutes from the train station and has a large walkable park for the dogs to walk at. We have a lab/greyhound mix that loves making friends and two cats that can be cordoned off to their own space if needed. They are all very mild mannered and friendly with up to date immunizations and regular flea and heart worm medication. Ive been watching dogs in our home for since 2015 and walking them for longer. I do not take more than one family's animals at a time. My two daughters love to play with and spoil the animals. We do allow them on the couch but not on our bed. I have some experience caring for elderly or special needs dogs and will consider them on a case by case basis. I love the opportunity to meet and care for new animals while also supporting the people in my community. I work hybrid and have good flexibility to come home or work from home in order to care for our animals or take them for walks. Someone is home 80% of the time during the week. When we let animals out in our yard, they are chained on a lead while we stand out with them. During walks we make sure that animals do not get close to other people's animals. I understand the unpredictability that can come when mixing animals and I am sure to safeguard any animals in my care. We also ensure that we keep our home extra tidy during visits to prevent accidental ingestion of unwanted items.

“We were so lucky to get connected with Isabel! Had to leave town for a weekend on short notice but she was able to come by and meet our dog beforehand nonetheless, when we got back he was so happy and calm. The photos from her walks were also much appreciated.”

Rikki D.
“As a professional dog trainer I don’t give recommendations for other dog professionals lightly! But I can confidently say that Rikki is your best choice for your dog. They have experience with fostering dogs of different personalities, sizes, and energy levels. Their own dog has titled in tricks due to their diligent training. And they’ve successfully worked with and trained other species as well including a spicy Sun Conure! On top of their phenomenal animal skills they’re also a people person. Plenty of people like dogs but you need someone who’s communicative, reliable, and personable. You’re definitely in the right place if you want only the best for your dog.”

Valley dog parents share their Rover experiences
Maryann is an absolute gift of a person! She is undeniably one of the most professional and knowledgeable care providers on Rover. Maryann has been helping me walk my two dogs as I recover from a foot injury. She is very thorough and clearly takes her work seriously. I trust my two fur babies with her unequivocally and that is not something I say lightly. Maryann has a wealth of knowledge on dog breeds, behavioral training, and dog health. She has kept in contact--sharing important updates--even on days we don't have a walk scheduled. I couldn't recommend Maryann more! 10/10

What a wonderful experience. I booked a 30 minute walk for my parents puppies because my older mom just needed a minute to herself. She recently got Pebbles (Aug 21) and she’s working through the motions of getting acclimated. Nicole was so quick to accommodate the request and was very flexible about the process. My mom enjoyed their interaction and really felt safe sending the dogs with her. 10/10 recommend. Fantastic experience.

I would highly recommend hiring Crystal for your needs. She was promp and very communicative throughout the whole process. I was very hesitant at first being my first time using this service but doing a meet before hand really set my mind at ease. Not to mention my dog loved her. She kept me up to date on the walks and took some great photos. And she made sure my dogs food and water was taken care of before leaving as well.

We had such a great experience with Kimberly while we were away on vacation for four days this week. She took amazing care of our 10-month-old puppy, and we couldn’t be happier with the attention and love she gave her! Kimberly was punctual, dependable, and super communicative throughout. We really appreciated the updates and adorable photos after each walk—it gave us total peace of mind knowing our pup was in such great hands. She clearly has a natural way with dogs, and our puppy warmed up to her right away. Coming home to a happy, well-exercised pup made all the difference. We highly recommend Kimberly to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog walker. We’ll definitely be booking her again! Thank you! The Rebello's

From the very first meeting, I knew my dog was in good hands. Sylvia showed up prepared, asked thoughtful questions, and even took notes to make sure she understood my dog’s routine and quirks. That level of care really stood out to me. Since then, she’s been amazing—reliable, kind, and clearly someone who loves what she does. My dog absolutely adores her and gets so excited when Sylvia comes by. I feel really lucky to have found her. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a dog walker who truly goes above and beyond!

Kenneth was an amazing dog walker for our dog! He was patient and kind to my sometimes timid dog. He was very flexible with our schedule and needs. Our dog Bear always got excited when Kenneth came for his daily walks! I would highly recommend Kenneth for any pet services.

I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for my two pups! Annie was incredibly reliable, communicative, and clearly adored my dogs. She followed all instructions perfectly and even sent updates that gave me peace of mind while I was away. I came home to two happy, well-cared-for pups. Highly recommend!
