My children are grown ups and out of the house on their own. My home is empty with just me and my elderly mother. I still love to have my freedom but would love to take on sitting your pet in my home or your home. I also work from home M-F, so your pet will have me with them for a majority of the time I’m caring for them. I work from home Monday-Fri and have lots of free time to take care of your pet in my home or in your home. Give me a shot please! My yard is not fenced in, however I am fully able to take your pet outside on a leash and for a walk to potty.

About: I’ve been a dog lover my entire life and have had/lived with multiple dogs of different breeds over the years, from puppies to senior pups! I promise to give your furry family member lots of pets and cuddles (if that’s what they like) and treat them just like I would my own dog. After all, I like dogs even more than people! I work from home the majority of the week and am fully available (schedule permitting) on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays to give your pet the care and attention they deserve. For Tuesdays/Wednesdays, I have the ability to let your dog out for potty breaks and play during my hour+ long work break when I am in the office (located nearby in Providence). Typically available on weekends! Message me if you have questions about my availability as I can often move my schedule around to fit yours 😊 When I visit your home to take care of your pet, I will treat both your home and pet with the same respect and care I would my own. Rest assured that I will leave everything just as I found it!

About: Retired military medic used to have and to help friends and battle buddies when their animals had to go when they had to go overseas or on TDY work trips and things like that also help friends and things too. I am very by the book so if you leave me a list of rules and what needs to happen I'll make sure it gets done. I have a very open schedule. I work from home so if you need me at any point in time I can make it fit within my schedule. For the safety of your pets and things, I usually like to do a quick visit to make sure that we're going to get along. I know if it is a cat that a lot of times trust needs to be earned with them and that you can't just pull them out from wherever they're hiding a lot of times it's earning their trust for them to be come out and be friendly. You do not force it on them.

I started walking my neighbors dog as a little kid for extra chore money which soon expanded to walking multiple dogs in my neighborhood. Throughout my 20s I assisted friends & family with walking and house sitting. I am comfortable with cats as well and currently have two cats of my own. I have experience with injections for diabetic cats as well and oral medications & ear drops for both dogs and cats. If it is allowed by the owners, I’m happy to take your dog in my car to the park or beach for extra exercise and entertainment.
