“Emma has been wonderful for our older lab. She is reliable, responsive and flexible. She is my first experience with Rover and I’m impressed! I would recommend Emma to the pickiest of pet owners!”

About: In all my life, I've never lived long in a place without some type of pet. Dogs especially, I care for the excitable and shy pups of all kinds! All dogs, no matter what breed, deserve love and attention as much as any human deserves it. Dog trainer... in training! Fun fact: I know a lot about dog breeds! I can correctly identify a small portion of dog breeds when I see a dog. I plan on learning much more with the research I do. I'm (trying) setting up for college classes, so I have a very flexible schedule with tons of time to give tons of animals tons of love!! Currently in my house we have 3 dogs and 1 cat. One of the dogs is a 3 month old puppy, the other is his mother, and the third is a dog we've had for longer that's a Chihuahua mix. The cat, as well as the Chihuahua are very wary of our newcomers, but I make sure to treat them all the same, feed them, give them love, keep an eye out for them so no animal gets harmed, and more. In the future, I plan on having a minor degree in veterinary care for animals, as well. I am uniquely dedicated to the pet grind.

“Hi Arianna, Thank you so much for taking such great care of my baby. It really seems as if she likes you. She is normally not so friendly with strangers. I will definitely be using you again in the future.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets all my life! I helped raise and take care of a Golden Retriever for 14 years in my childhood home until she passed away. Right know I have 3 elderly dogs who are my BFF's. I can't imagine my life without a furry friend. Also I've helped watch family and friends dogs since a young age. I love dogs of any kind and will love yours like my own! I’m currently working close to home with very flexible hours. I can work with your schedule to find the right time to care for your pets! I will approach your pet in a calm and slow manner until they feel comfortable with me. I have a fenced yard. My neighborhood is great for walks. Also depending on your preference with dog park/ walks, I typically take dogs for a 30 min walk (of course each dog is different in taking their time I fully respect that). If your dog is comfortable at the dog park, I’d love to take them there as well! My dog park is 20 minutes away (walking).I can accomodate dogs in crates or dogs that sleep on dog beds. In case of an emergency, I will always contact you first and take your pet to your preferred vet. I have a jeep which your dog will feel really comfortable in, so I am able to get your pet to whichever vet quickly!

About: I have walked dogs of every kind since I was 12. Friends and family have relied on me to walk and feed their furry friends. I would walk dogs in the morning, afternoon and nights on days I was needed. I have 2 dogs of my own at home that I walk on a daily basis. I know that pets need routines just as much as humans do for a sense of calm and safety. I am a college student so I will try to be as flexible as possible. My place doesn’t allow dogs but I’d be more than happy coming to your place during the day. I listed my availability during the week below. monday- afternoon tuesday- morning, afternoon and night thursday- mornings, afternoon and night friday- night weekends- morning, afternoon and night I have two pit bulls at home that I adore. I love keeping dogs company and providing for them. I will be happy to walk, feed and play with your pets and make sure they are well taken care of. I will ask the do’s and don’t’s of your pets and/or home to ensure the safety of everyone.

About: Big Phan of cats and dogs, and have watched pets for my family and friends for many years. I have been watching dogs in the DMV area for more than 12 years and clients consistently rely on me to take care of their pets (dogs and cats) when they are gone for the weekend or on vacation. I’m flexible so feel free to reach out and find a service that works for you. I was FURloughed from my job and now have a flexible schedule all-day! This allows me to pop by when I’m needed to take care of your pets or stay for extended periods of time! I am available most evenings and weekends as well when my calendar is available! I have a fenced in front and backyard to help with taking care in house. I live close to a neighborhood park which includes a section for dogs as well.

About: I have taken care of a wide range of pets since I was 13. I have house-sat, walked dogs, bathed dogs, and taken care of cats in my neighborhood and I have fed and interacted with a variety or reptiles as well. I'm a grad student so I have a few classes over the summer, but overall my schedule is fairly free and I am open to early morning or late night walks or pet care. I can cater to any pet needs or owner requirements to make sure that your fur baby is safe. My apartment has a long path in which lends itself to nice long walks. I will respect the space of any living spaces I visit and abide by the expectations.

About: I’ve had a dog for most of my life, I also recently got a pet turtle who I treat like my child! I am a nanny and most of the families I’ve nannied for have had pets that I’ve taken care of alongside the children. I’m a full time college student, looking for something to do during my free time! My schedule has hours in between classes, but I wouldn’t be able to work a regular daytime job. I live in a dog friendly apartment complex. We have a dog walking area around the building. I also have a car so I don’t mind traveling to your house if needed!

About: I have a strong love and appreciation for pets and making them feel valued. I enjoy getting to see their personalities and showing them care! I am a current full-time college student, so I typically have much free time to take part in pet care throughout the week, especially weekends! I ensure that I meet client’s needs for their pets and remain respectful to their homes and fur babies. I analyze and assess the emotions of their pets to make sure they are happy and being well taken care of!

About: I started my pet caregiving as a teenager caring for the neighbor’s dog and continue to care for dogs through HRA’s foster program. I adopted a dog and cat while living overseas and gladly care for my friends’ furry animals when they are away! I have experience caring for small to large size dogs and cats and will treat your pet as if it were my own! I work from home 3 days a week and generally have a very flexible schedule and have been able to seamlessly incorporate caring for new pups into my routine. I live in an apartment building that allows dogs and I have both a small and large crate to use as needed. I give the pups I care for plenty of potty breaks and quality walks multiple times a day. I also double clip dogs when walking, to both the harness and collar for extra security.

About: What sets me apart is the genuine care and attention I give to every pet, as if they were my own. I’m active, dependable, and deeply in tune with each animal’s unique personality and needs. I’ve worked with both energetic puppies and sweet senior dogs, and I’m comfortable adjusting my pace and care style to meet them where they are. Whether it’s going for long walks, playing fetch, or simply providing calm companionship, I make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and happy. I’m also extremely reliable—your pet’s routine, safety, and well-being will always come first with me. I currently work mornings through early afternoons, which gives me a flexible schedule for pet care in the afternoons, evenings, and even overnight. I’m typically available on most weekends and have some weekdays completely free as well. If you have specific timing needs, feel free to reach out—I’m happy to work with your schedule! I care for pets exclusively in their own homes, always being very respectful of your space and routines. I follow your instructions carefully to keep your pet comfortable and secure. I love going for walks and can take your pet to the park if you’d like. I also handle feeding, playtime, litter box cleaning, medication administration, and any special care your pet needs. My goal is to make the experience stress-free and loving for both you and your pet.

About: I would love to play and lay with your pets and make good friends with them during our time together. I can take them for walks, play with their toys, have sleepovers, any kind of fun. I am very responsible, caring, and trustworthy. I have taken care of many cats and dogs my whole life, so I know the responsibilities that come with the licks and kisses. I also have interacted with all types of pet personalities and it takes a special eye to detect and respond to those differences... that's me! My mom calles me Mrs. Doolittle because I'm very receptive to pets communications. I am very excited to get to know your pets and be that fun visitor that comes when you need my services. Pictured: Nakayla, Niko, Babycakes, Gracie, Penelope, Duke, Louis, mrs.kitty, Odie I am currently finding my footing by working other gig economy apps and some online work. My work can be anywhere right now and, for my benefit, my schedule can be around your pets needs. I will do my best to adhere to your pets schedule. Most pets like their usual routine and I will give that to them. I am very good at catering to animals by watching and trying to understand what they are communicating to me. The only pet that I have had that does not respond to me was a turtle we housed after finding outside. All cats, dogs, and guinea pigs that I have taken care of responded well to me. It takes that extra bit of care to take the time to try to understand what each pet needs/wants. I am doing gig work and personal projects that can be done off my laptop, giving me a flexible schedule that hopefully fits with your pets routine I like to keep the routine you have fit for them. I have found that dogs are usually pretty good at expressing what they need and if I'm doing something wrong.

About: I am the owner of a large Bernedoodle who is very friendly. I am experienced with large and small dogs and can do long hour walks or short walks/visits. I will send lots of photo updates and will actively keep in touch with the owner. I am a nurse and my days of the week for walking usually are flexible. Looking for an extra way to get outside and stay active while getting to play with some fury friends! I am a nurse and work random days of the week so I can be available at any time of the day on my days off, or in the early morning or late evening. Safety first, always. Any preferences by the owner will be first and foremost. I respect homes and privacy and will always stay in communication with the owner. I will be attentive to your pets needs.

“To whom it may concern Subject Nathaly . I am writing to you to express my gratitude to the beautiful care Nathaly provided to our three senior cats during a whole month when we were away. It was last year, 2022, during the month of August . Nathaly stayed home with our cats and took excellent care of each one. Each cat had a health issue that she managed very kindly and patiently. One cat had kidney problem and another is very senior and had problems of making a lot of noise at night. She was so kind and loving to all of them. Nathaly was great in keeping us informed about the cats through photos and messages . By the time we came back the three cats were very attached to Nathaly and were in good health. We felt at ease leaving them to her care. Nathalie was very careful also to take care of the house and keep it in a wonderful state. The place was spotless We recommend without any doubt , Nathalie for taking care of all pets Eglal Oghia Rousseau.”
