“Jade took excellent care of Zeus while I was away. He’s very timid but took to her immediately; you can tell she’s very good with animals. She was also very responsive and sent plenty of pics to keep my mind at ease while I was away. Highly recommend.”

“This is our third time booking Marlita and our cats adore her. She sends regular updates of pictures and videos everyday. We are happy to have found a reliable sitter who makes our cats happy while we are away. We will definitely be rebooking! Thanks for another job well done!”

About: I have cared for other people's dogs--roommates, friends, neighbors--since childhood, many decades! I've lived with cats, dogs and birds. I said goodbye to my rescue Westie of almost 17 years during 2025, and I’m not ready for another long-term pet commitment yet. I puppy trained her (with trainer) from 4 months and provided senior care for the last few years. I am very patient when meeting new animal souls, allowing them to come to me when they’re ready. I have been taking shelter dogs on Afternoon Adventures and have been successful with helping to train dogs in my care. I am working part time and have a flexible schedule, and now that I'm pet-less, I am available, even on short notice. I have been going on walks/hikes in our beautiful parks (over 2 miles) and would prefer some four-legged company. I am very good at following your instructions, respectful of routines and choices you make, and sensitive to furry companions' needs. I'll send you lots of pics! I will board low-maintenance/energy pets in my home, not puppies or kittens.
“Jay is the best. My Thunder who is a 75lb American Pitbull loves him and for anyone with this breed that once they trust you there is no such thing as personal space. This breed gets a bad reputation but they are cuddle buddies. Book him now and often you will not regret it!”

About: What sets me apart is the level of personalized care I give to every pet—whether it’s teaching a curious puppy the basics, keeping a senior pet comfortable and happy, or making sure shy animals feel safe and loved. With me, your pet gets more than just supervision—they get patience, attention, and a whole lot of tail wags. Even with a full-time job, pet care is a priority in my daily routine. I plan my mornings and evenings around feeding, walks, and playtime, and I dedicate my weekends to extra bonding activities, training, and outdoor adventures. I keep a reliable schedule so pets always know what to expect, and I make sure they get consistent love and attention no matter how busy the day gets. I provide safe, loving, and consistent care—whether in my home or yours. I follow your pet’s routine, ensure fresh water, timely meals, exercise, and plenty of affection so they feel happy and secure.
“Mack was such a great sitter for our dog, Cooper. Cooper can be a little particular to people, but Mack was patient and got to know Cooper better. Cooper was so excited to see Mack when he returned. I had no worries with our dog in Mack’s care. He was respectful to our house as well. Will use him again!”

About: I started doing rover because of my own negative experiences with past pet care providers. I wanted to be the right pet sitter for pet owners so they can have peace of mind when they are away. I’ve had pets my entire life, and have such a deep love for animals of all kinds! I am currently working from home with a-lot of downtime during the day and am able to step out if need be at any point! my schedule is incredibly flexible I treat everyone’s pets as if they are my own! I have 2 cats whom I view as my children and care for them with an immense amount of love
“Molly and her husband were great, they took care of our two dogs while we were away for a few days and made sure they were pampered and stayed healthy. They also left our place clean and went the extra mile to get our puppy some extra food when he ran out of it. Highly recommend!”

About: I have over 6 years of hands-on experience caring for cats, and I truly love spending time with them. I currently have three cats of my own. Two of them I’ve raised since they were kittens, so I’m very familiar with kitten care, daily routines, feeding schedules, and helping young cats feel safe and comfortable as they grow. My third cat was a former stray that I adopted, which gave me valuable experience working with shy or cautious cats and helping them build trust in a new environment. I’m patient, gentle, and attentive to each cat’s personality and needs. I’m experienced with feeding, litter box cleaning, playtime, and providing companionship. I enjoy interactive play and quiet bonding time, and I always prioritize a calm, stress-free environment. I treat every cat as if they were my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable drop-in cat care. I’m available for scheduled visits to feed cats, clean litter boxes, play with them, and check on their overall condition. I can also provide regular photo and video updates to keep owners informed and reassured. I respect that cats feel most comfortable in their own environment. During each visit, I make sure food and water are fresh, litter boxes are clean, and cats are relaxed and healthy. I pay close attention to mood, energy level, and any changes in behavior, and I provide photo and video updates after every visit for peace of mind.
About: I was a soldier in my country, I took my dog training course and worked with many breeds. I really like sharing my time with pets and I will take care of them as if they were my own. I work part-time and I want to share my free time with pets and take care of them as if they were my own and pamper them so that they feel good with me until they return home. I have an empty backyard which I could use for the care and much more of your pets with the greatest security and more confidence
About: I cared for my Bichon Frise, for 13 wonderful years. During that time, I also enjoyed walking my neighbors’ dogs alongside him, which gave me experience with different breeds, sizes, and personalities. Through all the walks, park visits, playtimes, and daily routines, I gained a deep understanding of what it takes to keep a pet happy, healthy, and loved. My best friend passed away in 2024, but I still find a little bit of him in every dog I take care of. I’m reliable, patient, and truly passionate about animals. Caring for pets brings me so much joy, and I always make sure each dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved, just like they’re my own. I can’t wait to meet your furry family member! As of now I am very flexible with my schedule at the moment I am taking the time and going to enjoy traveling the world as much as I can and making a little extra money and getting to meet new pets would be a bonus for me ! I have done a couple drop in visits for friends & family pets and I always make sure to follow their instructions and never hesitate to ask when I don’t know something so everything goes smoothly as best as possible. I love animals I would always make sure they are cared for and kept safe at all times !
About: I feel what makes me different from other candidates is that I have treats for them. I make sure they are always comfortable. I give you updates on how they are doing. I know as dog parents sometimes we stress of knowing how they are. I also have been working taking care of dogs since I was 15. It was helped me learn a lot through the years Taking care of your fur baby fits in my daily routine because I have extra time and I enjoy going on walks and they bring so much joy. What makes my home safe is that I live a safe area. There is a park across the street across the street. They also get the backyard. There are no kids and they will monitored.
“Rachel was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond in caring for our Duke, exceeding all of our expectations. She was prompt, extremely communicative, and provided frequent updates complete with pictures and videos. When Duke became picky with his food, Rachel quickly came up with helpful solutions. It’s clear that Duke loved her, and we will definitely be using her again!”

About: Our Why? We have Huskies, and while still offering our service to other breeds, we highlight that it takes a fellow Husky owner to understand what a Husky needs. Despite their mischievous shenanigans, Houdini escape attempts, endless fur-sheddings, high-pitched vocalizations, bubbly, energized personalities, and hyperactive frolicking, we adore huskies. We understand finding experienced, dependable, loving, and trustworthy caregivers for your Husky isn't easy. That's why we are here to help. We currently have two friendly young huskies (one male and one female- fixed and crate-trained). We also have experience with English bulldogs, Sharpeis, Chow-Chows, Labs, Doodles, and Boxers. We only offer care for dogs based upon the comfortability of the match to our pet-care style and demeanor. We love our pets as we will love yours. We are focused on weekends, holidays, and summer care. We are open to possible weekday arrangements if your dog is crate-trained. Before booking us, a drop-by visit is required to test the compatibility of all humans and dogs. A few things: Special note-while we have never owned a French bulldog, we are particularly interested in learning to care for this breed. Your pet must be spayed or nurtured to receive boarding in our home. Also, we are sorry but we cannot offer care for full or mixed Pit Bull breeds. How does pet care fit into your daily and weekly lives? Our pets receive two meals a day, comprising dry food and water. Our pets are crate-trained and remain crated when owners are away. Most of the time, there is an adult in the house. Our dogs can access a large fenced backyard with green grass and trees. Our dogs walk with owners through nearby Branch Brooke Park and visit the dog park almost daily. Our dogs are crated during adult meal times and sleep in the main bedroom on the floor, side couch, or end of bed at night. We maintain a clean home and provide puppy pads during inclement weather to avoid mud and chaos. Pets have access to some rooms, but not all rooms in the house. Toys and treats are provided regularly. Linens on beds where animals may sleep are washed and switched out regularly. Our gate is blocked off on both sides because huskies are known for escaping. Our pets have ID collars and ID dog tags and wear GPS trackers during the day. Our dogs are up-to-date on immunizations and have been spayed/neutered. We don't hit our dogs with our hands or objects but use basic word commands. Training dogs is always a work in progress. They are both loved for their uniqueness. We only plan to care for pets in our home. We have a large and welcoming home.
“Fernando was great with cooper, he really helped give us peace of mind during our wedding day that our boy was in good hands and getting all the love and attention he was missing.”

University Heights pet parents share their Rover experiences
Breanna and her partner have been amazing! My dog has stomach issues and anxiety and they cared for him so well. They would send me updates and communicated daily. I came back and they left my place spotless. I would definitely book with them again and would 100% recommend

We were delighted to be Joni’s first customers! We had a very last-minute, heavy-lift request for Joni and she did a fantastic job. We have a young puppy that can’t leave our apartment or be left alone for more than a few hours, and we needed someone to watch her for a full week. She was also on a special diet and meds for some tummy issues. Joni stayed in our apartment and not only took care of our puppy but also took care of the apartment and left it in better condition than we left it! Joni is a sweetheart and I believe she’d put her all into any dog entrusted to her care.

Khoula (Jeremy’s wife) is great!!! Milo adores her and he’s always so happy after he’s spent time with her. she sends lovely little updates of our pup! She’s flexible and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend her and am always going to come back :) 13/10!!!

I booked Rachel last minute, and she was quick to respond. She’s incredibly responsible, respectful of our home, and, most importantly, she was so sweet with my puppy, Oliver. She sent updates and pictures throughout the day, and he looked so happy. I’ll absolutely be booking her again whenever I need a sitter for Oliver! Highly recommend!

Samiyah did a great job watching my dogs, Debo and Sadie, while I was out of town from Thursday to Wednesday. She was reliable, respectful of my home, and kept me updated with messages and photos throughout the stay, which I really appreciated. She followed all instructions as requested and made sure both dogs were well cared for during my time away. I came home to everything in order and two well-looked-after dogs. Her professionalism and communication made the entire process smooth. I would definitely book Samiyah again and recommend her to anyone in need of a dependable and trustworthy sitter.

Deb was great with Pebbles (formerly Mogwai). Pebbles is our new 10 month old puppy. We adopted her about 1 1/2 weeks before we had to go away for the weekend so we were very concerned about Pebbles adjusting. Everything went fine. Deb understood what Pebbles needed and kept us informed during the weekend. It made for a smooth weekend. I would highly recommend Deb to anyone!
Natasha was not only great with our dog Bruce but also a respectful house guest. She sent images of Bruce that kept us smiling while we were on our vacation, and we knew he was having a good time with her. I think she gave Bruce more walks and quality time than we’re usually able to give - so we hope to have her stay next time we’re out of town, too.
