Growing up, our home always had multiple dogs, so I’m very used to different temperaments, routines, and dynamics. We have a fenced-in dog park within the community, but I prefer to take them on long strolls near the grassy areas so they can get plenty of new smells to sniff.

This was our quick test to make sure our dog (and we) could handle the separation for a short period of time, as a bridge to boarding her for a longer stretch of time. About: I am an animal-loving, high school science teacher, located in Harrison, NJ (previously in Secaucus, Jersey City and Union City). I welcomed my own puppy home in May 2021 and have plenty of experience taking care of my sisters’ three dogs. I live in a spacious townhouse at a pet-friendly complex that has its own dog park. I’m very good with strict schedules & routines and love taking pictures & videos of my furry friends, so their humans won’t have to worry! I am at work from 7:30am to 4pm every Monday to Friday. I can do check-ins outside of these times. I can board and do doggy daycare only on weekends (starting Friday evening) and my days off, as I do not feel comfortable leaving any animal alone while I’m at work. I am a school teacher, so during the summer, I’ll be home for a majority of the day throughout the week! If I have to leave a pet alone, I will use a pet gate, playpen, or crate as needed so no pet gets into any dangerous situation. For check-ins, I will keep your space as clean as possible, so your pet doesn’t get in any icky situations! I will respect your home and always communicate what I’m doing.

I said goodbye to my rescue Westie of almost 17 years during 2025, and I’m not ready for another long-term pet commitment yet. I puppy trained her (with trainer) from 4 months and provided senior care for the last few years. I am very patient when meeting new animal souls, allowing them to come to me when they’re ready. I have been taking shelter dogs on Afternoon Adventures and have been successful with helping to train dogs in my care. I have been going on walks/hikes in our beautiful parks (over 2 miles) and would prefer some four-legged company. About: I take care of animals since I use to live in the Dominican Republic. I have owned pets since I was very little, you won’t be disappointed. I know it’s hard to leave your best friend with a total stranger sometimes I feel my dog understands me more than my husband and kids do. I know that our pets become part of then family trust me I know. I feel so safe with my dog around. You won’t have to worry about your pet. I’m a stay at home mom but my kids are in school. I have plenty of time to walk your pet and play with them. I’m a very patience person and I know how to respect boundaries. People need to know that pets need there space too. I have a very sweet shin Tzu. His name is Buddy his very friendly and loves to play. I know it sounds weird but his very respectful of other dogs. So I think he’ll be great fur friend.

About: I am an animal-loving, high school science teacher, located in Harrison, NJ (previously in Secaucus, Jersey City and Union City). I welcomed my own puppy home in May 2021 and have plenty of experience taking care of my sisters’ three dogs. I live in a spacious townhouse at a pet-friendly complex that has its own dog park. I’m very good with strict schedules & routines and love taking pictures & videos of my furry friends, so their humans won’t have to worry! I am at work from 7:30am to 4pm every Monday to Friday. I can do check-ins outside of these times. I can board and do doggy daycare only on weekends (starting Friday evening) and my days off, as I do not feel comfortable leaving any animal alone while I’m at work. I am a school teacher, so during the summer, I’ll be home for a majority of the day throughout the week! If I have to leave a pet alone, I will use a pet gate, playpen, or crate as needed so no pet gets into any dangerous situation. For check-ins, I will keep your space as clean as possible, so your pet doesn’t get in any icky situations! I will respect your home and always communicate what I’m doing.

Eduardo was incredibly accommodating - Ziggy takes medication twice a day and tends to need lots of one-to-one attention.
