“This was our very first time using Rover, and as extremely overprotective dog parents, we were definitely nervous. But Brad was absolutely amazing from start to finish. He eased our minds with daily updates, complete with photos and videos that showed just how well our dog was doing! We also had a Fi tracker on his collar and it was so reassuring to see how many walks and steps he was getting. Brad took him out so often, even more than our normal routine! Our dog occasionally gets so excited that he’ll throw up if he hasn’t eaten in a while, and when it happened, Brad immediately texted us, cleaned it up, and made sure he ate and drank after. His communication was quick, calm, and thoughtful, which helped us feel totally at ease. It was clear our dog was incredibly well cared for — he got plenty of walks, playtime with his toys, and lots of attention. Honestly, he looked sad when Brad left! Brad also left our home neat and spotless, which we really appreciated. We feel like we hit the jackpot with Brad. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better to take care of our fur baby, and we’d recommend him to absolutely anyone. We hope to book with him again!”

About: I've taken care of dogs of every size (small, medium, large) and household cats! Love to teach (or at least try to teach) your pups new tricks when you're away. I work at U of M Hospital, so I will have time to hang out with your animals most days of the week (mornings, evenings, nights) and weekends! About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a family that cared for exotic pets, which provided me the opportunity to learn how to connect with various animals from an early age. Over the years, I’ve worked as a farm aide at Turtle Back Zoo in New Jersey, volunteered with animal shelters, and cared for the pets of neighbors, friends, and family. These experiences have taught me that every animal has their own personality, routine, and needs—and I genuinely enjoy getting to know them. Today, I’m the proud pawrent of Marlo, my 5-year-old Australian Shepherd, and Nala, my 12-year-old cat. I even prepare fresh food for all of Marlo’s meals. Caring for animals isn’t just something I enjoy, it’s a big part of who I am. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, companionship, or simply someone trustworthy to keep them comfortable while you’re away, I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I give my own. I'm a full-time remote employee with a relatively flexible schedule, which allows me to spend individualized time with your pets during most weekdays and nights. Additionally, I am free most weekends for an assortment of care options. Each pet is unique and requires a different type of care. I fully abide by whatever your preferences are for care in your home. Being attentive to the basics (food, water, toys, treats, etc.), but also body language is very important to me. Making sure your pet is as comfortable as possible while you're away is key to a successful caregiver relationship.

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was 11 years old and currently have seven cats and a Yorkie of my own, so caring for pets has truly been a lifelong part of my everyday life. Having a multi-pet household has given me extensive hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs with different personalities, temperaments, energy levels, and routines. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, litter box care, maintaining daily routines, and giving each pet the individual attention they need. I especially understand cats and how different their personalities can be—from the super affectionate and playful ones to the shy or independent ones who need a little more patience and space to feel comfortable. As a pet parent myself, I know how important it is to feel confident about who you’re leaving your pets with. I’ll treat every pet in my care with the same love, patience, attention, and respect I give my own, and I’m always happy to provide plenty of photos and updates while you’re away. Pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine as a pet parent myself. I’m available all day on Saturdays and Sundays, making weekends especially flexible for walks, drop-ins, house sitting, or other pet care needs. During the week, I’m typically available in the evenings starting around 6 PM. I can also be flexible outside of my normal availability as needed, so feel free to reach out and I’ll do my best to accommodate your pet’s schedule and care needs. I carefully follow each pet parent’s instructions, including feeding schedules, walking routines, household rules, and any special preferences your pet may have. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of both their space and their pet’s established routine, and I make sure doors, gates, leashes, and other potential escape points are secure. For pets staying with me, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable environment and giving them time to adjust at their own pace. Because I have pets of my own, I take introductions and interactions seriously and would never force unfamiliar animals together. I’m attentive to behavior and body language and will always prioritize what makes each pet feel safe and comfortable.
