You had me at walk.
I’ve been pet sitting for over 2 years and truly love caring for animals. Along with my experience providing overnight care, I currently work as a veterinary assistant, where I care for both dogs and cats in a professional setting. Working in vet medicine has helped me become comfortable with pets of all ages, sizes, personalities, and needs, including senior pets and anxious animals. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and routine to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible to help the pet feel comfortable and secure. I make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get walks and bathroom breaks, and receive plenty of attention and playtime. I also keep their environment clean and safe and follow any specific instructions provided by the owner.

Took great care of my dog while we were out attending a wedding. She sent me pictures and updates on her. I would book Janice again to care for my dog.
This is Hunters 2nd stay and once again, everything was perfect! It’s such a relief knowing my he is in great hands when I’m away. Janice truly goes above and beyond—sending regular updates, photos, and making sure my dog feels right at home. I could tell my dog was happy, relaxed, and well cared for. It means so much to have someone I trust with my fur baby. Highly recommend and looking forward to booking again!

I work full time, so I fit pet care around my work schedule. I’m available on weekends and some Thursdays, which I’ve listed in my availability. I make sure to plan ahead so I can be consistent and give pets proper care and attention when I’m with them.
