You had me at walk.
I’ve been pet sitting for over 2 years and truly love caring for animals. Along with my experience providing overnight care, I currently work as a veterinary assistant, where I care for both dogs and cats in a professional setting. Working in vet medicine has helped me become comfortable with pets of all ages, sizes, personalities, and needs, including senior pets and anxious animals. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and routine to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible to help the pet feel comfortable and secure. I make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get walks and bathroom breaks, and receive plenty of attention and playtime. I also keep their environment clean and safe and follow any specific instructions provided by the owner.

Took great care of my dog while we were out attending a wedding. She sent me pictures and updates on her. I would book Janice again to care for my dog.
This is Hunters 2nd stay and once again, everything was perfect! It’s such a relief knowing my he is in great hands when I’m away. Janice truly goes above and beyond—sending regular updates, photos, and making sure my dog feels right at home. I could tell my dog was happy, relaxed, and well cared for. Janice is by far one of the best sitters I have come across on Rover. She was so good at updating me with how my dog was doing. She was very responsive and answered all of my questions in a timeline manner. She sent lots of videos and photos. She gave him lots of exercise which was important to me because my dog is very high energy. She also returned everything back to me squeaky clean. I would love to use her services again.

Schedule
I work full time, so I fit pet care around my work schedule. I’m available on weekends and some Thursdays, which I’ve listed in my availability. I make sure to plan ahead so I can be consistent and give pets proper care and attention when I’m with them.
