“Leah looked after my two dachshunds for the day. The younger one is recently adopted and weary of people visiting so I was a little concerned but I needn’t have been - Leah is calm and understands them and their needs and very conscientious keeping me in touch during the day with photos and updates.”

“Leiah was brilliant looking after our golden retriever Josie while we went away. We came back to a very happy dog and lovely clean and tidy home 😊 Josie also had some specific tablets she needed and routines which Leiah followed perfectly. We will definitely be asking her to look after Josie again soon! Thank you 🤩”

“Lilli's care for our two kitties was superb. She looked after our two with genuine empathy to their needs and moods (not easy with our boy!). Lilli was a great house guest, who kept in contact to reassure us about the cat's welfare. She couldn't have been friendlier or more approachable, or amenable to the pussies requirements. I thoroughly recommend Lilli to look after your animals whilst you are away. A lovely person to deal with!”

“Rachel helped us out when we where let down at the last minute. Life saver. Very polite and she managed to come round the day before to meet and greet. Would highly recommend her and use her in the future.”

“Monika was excellent with our Maine Coon Nancy, who’s usually a little terror. She has an astute understand of animals - we came back to a very calm, happy cat and a tidy home after a week away in Sardinia!”

About: I am an experienced house and pet sitter which I have been doing for several years purely for my love of animals and helping others. John is a volunteer at Barby Keel animal sanctuary where he primarily looks after the dogs. House and pet sitting is something Nancy has more previous experience so can do it solo but feels more comfortable with the help and company from John who hasn’t yet got the house sitting experience but has years of knowledge and experience with dogs and other animals I am at the beginning of my new career as a dried floral artist which allows me to work for homes and will give me the freedom I need to do this while John likes the outdoors and exploring new places I follow all guidance and instructions from owners and make sure each pet and the house is maintained to a high standard of care and love.

“Michelle is the best! Our two spaniels were lovingly cared for. Our dogs loved her! We received regular updates with pictures to assure us all is well. That was a great comfort as one of our dogs is hyper and the other is a rescue with a heart condition. Our home was sparkling and tidy. Highly recommend.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and fostered a few in the last 5 years! I have a rescue dog of my own who lives with my mum while I’m away studying. I love walking dogs as I feel like it’s the best way to connect with a dog. I’d love to hangout with them at home too! I am currently a student so I have time to take up part time jobs. I’ve chosen Rover as I want to spend that with fur babies. I know how to feed, walk and crate dogs. I’m especially good with anxious dogs that need specific type of attention and care with food and play.

“I would thoroughly recommend Alice for house sitting your pets. Alice came to the house prior to us going on holiday to meet the dogs. I received photos whilst we were away and updates twice a day which was very reassuring and I would not hesitate to book Alice if she wanted to look after the dogs again”

About: I have experience looking after dogs and cats aswell as sick animals that need daily medication. Growing up I spent a lot of time with my two cats. However, I have always wanted a dog and luckily, thanks to friends and relatives I have been able to feed, train and walk a variety of dogs. I cant wait to befriend your beloved dogs and cats, and keep them safe, healthy and exercised whilst you are on holiday or just at work. I currently do some self employed gardening, but am free most of the week. This means I am flexible with times and can work around you. I believe safety and trust can be ensured with regular updates, photos and pre written instructions for all animals. This should include how they interact with children or other dogs on walks, medication and how to administer it, feeding times etc. I will always be available for a daily update or any questions you may have.

“First time leaving our dogs overnight for four years but we were totally reassured by having had Paul visit a few times before to let them out during the day, and it was great to have a weekend away with family without worrying about them! Will definitely be asking Paul again.”

“Teddy is always in safe loving hands. As we have had Ingrid come and dog sit a few times now my mind is always at peace. Knowing his happy relaxed in Ingrid’s company she takes him out on regular walks. I always get updated with pictures and videos of how teddy’s day is going. Ingrid always presences herself well very happy caring towards Teddy even my 8 year old daughter who’s really likes her. She’s been to stay over night I fully trust her to take care of Teddy and my home. Will definitely be seeing more of Ingrid.”

“Jade looked after our three dogs while we went away for the weekend to a wedding. We have two Lurchers, one of which is quite nervous and a Cockapoo. I could tell instantly that Jade is a natural with dogs and I knew that my bunch were going to be happy with her. We had a relaxing weekend away because Jade kept in touch and sent us photos and updates which was great! I would not hesitate to recommend Jade as a dog and house sitter and would definitely ask her back again!”

“Tayla was brilliant from start to finish. I booked for Tayla to look after Winston my large French bulldog over a weekend in Winston’s house. We talked on the phone and I explained that Winston was a good dog but strong on the lead, we organised a time for Tayla to meet Winston and start the dog sitting. As soon as Tayla arrives Winston was so at ease, she has a great way with pets and has clearly been around dogs lots. I got some great pictures throughout the dog sit which was so comforting and reassuring to know Winston was so well looked after. Tayla was able to give me a few tips that I asked for to help Winston on the lead. It was a great success and I will be booking again., highly professional and great with my dog. Highly recommended. 😃🐶”
