“A lovely gentle person with a very sweet way with animals, had quite a lot of bits and pieces to take care of (medication etc) and was completely willing and unfazed, despite a cat who was not always entirely rewarding (eg sat under tree instead of saying hi). Great daily updates and photos which completely put our minds at rest. A real credit to this agency.”

“Charlotte is brilliant, and took lovely care of my cat Willow, as she did when she's done home visits for us before. I came home to a relaxed and content kitty. Will definitely continue to book in with Charlotte when I go away!”

“Clare took great care of our cat while we were away. Our cat instantly felt comfortable with her. Her updates were thorough, prompt and very helpful, so great to see what they were getting up to! She followed our routine very carefully and always arrived on time. Would happily ask for Clare’s help again!”

“I can’t recommend Ros enough, so so glad we decided to go with her to look after Rudy. She really effectively communicates and made sure she was well aware of what Rudy needed from his visit. She updated us throughout the day and Rudy looked so happy spending time with her ☺️”

“Sarah took excellent care of our two cats, dropping in to our house to feed them each day when we were away for a week. She made sure they had everything they needed, and she kept us well updated which put our minds at rest. Sarah was very reliable and we would happily recommend her!”

“It was great to have Olivia look after our elderly cat Snowy, who took to Olivia immediately, which does make it easier for me to have a few days away knowing she’s well looked after and having someone spend some time with her. Olivia sent lots of pictures every day which was great to see. I’d highly recommend Olivia and will definitely be using her again on our next break xx”

“Ellie was really great from the start of the initial booking, very responsive and answered all my questions quickly. She sent me pictures of my pugs when she was checking in on them and made sure they were all ok on this hot day. Would 100% use Ellie’s services again.”

“We feel very happy that we found Mary. She came to visit our cat Elsa over a long weekend and we felt completely relaxed and reassured while we were away. Lovely to get regular updates. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Mary! X”

About: I've been surrounded by animals my whole life—dogs, cats, chinchillas, rabbits, budgies—you name it! I'm experienced with pets of all ages, from playful puppies and kittens to wise old senior companions, and everything in between. Whether it’s sitting with your cat and their favourite spring toy or taking your dog out for their daily walk, I genuinely love brightening up a pet’s day. I offer reliable home visits and dog walks, tailored to your pet’s routine and personality. ✅ Puppies to seniors ✅ Walks, playtime, check-ins ✅ Cats and dogs welcome I also offer free meet & greets, so don’t hesitate to get in touch—your pet’s comfort (and your peace of mind) is my priority. I’m a work-from-home software developer with flexible hours, so I can usually accommodate visits at most times of the day—even short notice! For bookings further in advance, I’m happy to arrange a free meet & greet to make sure everyone’s comfortable and everything runs smoothly. I always treat your home and pets with the utmost respect and care, following any specific instructions you provide to keep your pet safe and comfortable. During home visits, I maintain a calm and quiet presence to minimize stress, ensuring your pet’s routine—feeding, play, medication—is followed precisely. I never allow your pet outside without permission, and I’m vigilant about keeping doors and gates secure. On walks, I keep your dog on a secure lead unless you’ve specified they have reliable off-lead recall. I stay alert to surroundings, avoiding hazards, and adjusting the walk pace and route to suit your dog’s needs and temperament. Communication is key: I provide updates after visits to keep you reassured, and I’m always happy to discuss any concerns or special care instructions.

About: I am skilled at looking after animals and listening to their needs. Whether it's a young puppy/kitten or a large, muzzled dog, I will not be put off. I have experience with it all and pride myself on being a judgement-free carer. I understand that all pets are individual with specific requirements based on their breed, upbringing and personality. I can provide fun, comforting, tailored care for your pet. I am available all through the week and I am a committed, reliable person who will leave you feeling relaxed about your pet's care. As an owner of 2 Huskies and 1 senior cat, caring for animals is a huge part of my personal life. Staying overnight: I will offer as many walks as they need, engaging playtime and caring cuddles Day care: I will keep your dog company on long work days and ensure they have everything they need, including engaging walks and exercise Walks: No matter the size of the dog I will provide the distance and time of walk they need.

About: Having grown up in a family abundant with cats and dogs, taking care of pets has always been a mutually enriching part of my life. I was always the first choice for pet sitting for friends and family, and have cared for both young and old animals. As I look for part-time work, my schedule is currently extremely flexible and I am happy to provide services any day of the week/weekend with minimal notice. I take the responsibility of caring for others' pets seriously and will make sure any important information is written down and understood. If any concerns arise I will contact you, and I am also happy to provide updates as often as you'd like.

About: I can look after or care for your dog when you are at work. I used to have a couple of Jack Russells and some years ago a couple of border collies. All from puppies. I work from home now and live by myself and would love some company. I have a garden. My son has a dog Luna, Pixie is my twin sister’s dog and Tomaquet & Moocher were my Jack Russells. I am flexible on days as I am home every day including evenings and weekends. Able to take out for walks. I have a fenced garden. Happy to have 2 dogs from the same family. Also doggy day care is available. I have a Chi-Poo (Chihuahua mixed with a toy poodle). I started to use Rover myself as a customer last year as occasionally I have to go to Nottingham for a day with work, but started to care for other people's dogs earlier this year. I am getting really booked up so if you could confirm your booking as soon as you are able to after the meet and greet so that I can guarantee the booking for your doggie woggie that would be great. I like to arrange a meet and greet first though anyway and do that at my house in Woodsmoor so that your pooch can get used to a new environment and feel more familiar. I have looked after a variety of dogs including rescue dogs who need socialising with other dogs, taller dogs who can open door handles, greedy dogs who need to be given only the right amount of food so I have to watch that they don’t pinch other dogs food, down to the real, cheeky, sweet ones who are mischievous but you can’t help loving them as they are furiously wagging their tail 😂😂😂 I have looked after puppies, dogs with attitudes and the ones who like do things on their terms but I know what I can handle with boundaries. If I or Minnie are not happy with a dog I will say so but to be honest this has only happened a couple of times. I need to know your furbaby will be comfortable too xx I work from home so can care for dogs in my house. I don’t put my dog in kennels as she is not an outside kennel dog. Minnie shares the bed with me and I am happy for your special pooch to do the same. However if your dog is crate trained I can also accommodate that. I live near Mirlees fields, but also like going to Cale Green Park, Bramhall Park, Bruntwood Park and Vernon Park. I have a fenced in garden and always take dogs out on a lead. I love looking after dogs in my own house. My dog likes running around the garden. I have loads of fields nearby so if your dog is ok off the lead they can have a run around. I use dog seats in my car when travelling to ensure that all the doggies are kept safe!

“Ailsa looked after Lucy on really short notice. She came to do a meet and greet on an extremely quick timescale and looked after our dog for us a couple of days later. Our dog can be a handful and has very particular needs and Ailsa really understood what we needed and what our dog needed too. She really put us at ease and did a fantastic job. We came home to a very chilled out and tired dog who seemed to have had a great time. She kept us updated and sent photos too, which was very reassuring for us as this is the first time we have left her with anyone that isn’t family. Will definitely be using again and I would highly recommend.”

About: I have taken care of family and friends dogs for around 10 years. I love animals and currently have 2 kitties myself called Simba and Jasmine. I have looked after my friends dog since he was a puppy, walking him and taking him out for the day, as well as popping in to feed and sit with him when needed. I have also been walking local neighbours dogs for a few years when needed. I also volunteer at a local charity walking dogs and cleaning the cattery so have lots of experience with different types of dogs and cats. I currently work full time but I work from home with a flexible schedule so can be regularly available to walk or check in on your doggies or pop in and see your cat. I am happy to accommodate your pets needs so please do discuss this with me. The only day I work from the office is Thursdays but my office is dog friendly so I am more than happy to discuss the possibility of taking your dog into the office with me for the day if you needed. I am also happy to do an evening walk/check in to care for your pup or cat which can also include a feed if needed. I am available on Saturdays and Sundays for longer walks and/or sitting services for both dogs and cats. I am happy to discuss all details of care needed with you :) I am very cautious when it comes to other peoples pets. I have 2 indoor cats of my own and they are indoor due to medical reasons so I am very caring and careful when it comes to animals needs. I won’t let your dog off the lead unless you are comfortable.

About: I’ve looked after my own cat for 4 years now , I drop in on my friends pets when there away and love spending time with animals. I currently work full time but will be more than happy to do early mornings and evenings drop in and spend a bit of time with the kittens or cats. My cat is mainly an indoor cat but does go outside when she wants as long as her carers are in the garden we feed her twice a day and give her lots of attention .

“Amy was friendly and great with my senior cat, Millie. Millie is 16 and fairly anxious indoor cat, so a cattery wouldn't have been suitable for her. I was so glad to find Amy and she even went the extra mile in helping with the bins, hoovering spilled litter, and sorting my lights. Thank you so much Amy ❤️”

“Lauren dropped in on our puppy to give him a walk and some playtime and he clearly had a great time! Well looked after as ever, with great updates and a summary for us so that was really appreciated. Thanks Lauren!”
