About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a dog loving home, my dad is a professional dog handler who runs puppy training classes, so I’ve been hands-on with dogs of all ages and temperaments from a young age. I currently have two miniature dachshunds of my own, so I fully understand the daily needs, quirks, and personalities that come with caring for pets, especially small breeds! I’ve also attended sessions on dog grooming and health & safety, which helps me provide not just loving care, but informed care. Whether it’s helping puppies settle into new routines, making sure your dog feels comfortable and safe while you’re away, or simply offering lots of attention and play, I bring genuine experience, patience, and passion to every pet I look after. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, I’m home most of the day, so I have plenty of time to give your pet the attention they need. Walks, playtime, feeding, and cuddles are all part of my everyday life with my own dogs, and I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s schedule too. I'm flexible on weekdays and weekends, and can accommodate regular visits or last-minute bookings when needed. Your pet’s safety and comfort come first. I provide a calm, secure environment and follow your pet’s routine closely. At my home, your pet will have a clean, pet-friendly space and gentle company from my two miniature dachshunds. I introduce pets gradually and with care. With a lifelong background around dogs I understand how to keep pets happy, safe, and stress-free.

About: Hello, my name is Alice and I have a strong passion for all things animals. Whether it be as big as horses or livestock or as small as cats and everything in between. I have been around animals my whole life and owned my own animals for 22+ years. I have 2 horses and a cat who are my absolute world, my cat lives with my horses on the farm. But in the past I have also owned 2 dogs. Although I now don’t have a dog of my own, I have looked after and fostered multiple dogs over many years and have also volunteered at veterinary practices too, both small animal and equine. If any of my friends or friends of the family need their dogs looking after, they always come to me. If you’re anything like me, your animals are like your world and any animals I look after would be treated no differently. I have a full driving license and own my own car so location, whether it be down country lanes or not accessible by public transport would be no issue for me to reach. Not only am I a pet sitter on Rover, I also offer services separate to on here for people who prefer to communicate on text/whatsapp or pay via bank transfer/cash. I’m happy to meet you in advance to see if you think I’d be the right fit for you and your animals needs. I work part time during the week and occasional evening or weekend but I work remotely so can work from your house if I’m house sitting as long as there’s good working wifi, no need for your animals to be left on their own all day. If your dog comes to stay at my house, I have a fully fenced large garden and spacious house, I would treat your animal like I would treat my own, with the upmost care and love. If I look after your animals in your home, it would no different, I am a very tidy individual and your house would be left neat and tidy.

About: Registered RVN (1+ years) with a genuine love and passion for animal care. I have worked in many practices such as charity, hospital and first opinion, and have loved looking after all kinds of animals, from cats and dogs to rabbits and so much more. I’ve always gad animals in the family, being surrounded by them and caring for them comes as second nature to me :) Pet care is my life! I go to work every day to provide my absolute best care possible to sick animals and i go back home to my animals and show them just as much love. It’s what i know best! I am very confident around animals, i am happy to adapt to whatever situation is best for your pet in your home. Whether that is medications, specific feeding habits, walking routes, garden times etc.

About: I was raised with two Miniature Schnauzers and have always loved taking them out for an explore. Over recent years, alongside my research, I have cared for numerous friends' and families' dogs. Breeds I have cared for have included: Miniature Schnauzers, Border Terriers, Miniature Dachshunds, Coton de Tulears and a large Macedonian rescue. I have experience with caring for dogs of all ages and those with health concerns. I have experience caring for and elderly dog with epilepsy. This is my much loved family schnauzer, Poppy, who is 14 and requires medication twice daily for her epilepsy. I am used to following Poppy's cues to work out the optimal walk length for her that day. Sometimes she likes to just stand and watch other dogs play, so that is what we do. She is also struggling a little with her hearing nowadays and her road awareness is not as good as it once was, so I am extra cautious with her near roads. I also have experience with rescues, as my in-laws homed a lovely large rescue, Snupi, from Macedonia. Snupi can be quite anxious so requires a lot of reassurance and I have worked hard to gain her trust. Recently my husband and I brought home our very own little schnauzer called Pip who we are training. I therefore have experience with walking puppies and know the importance of socialising them with all types of noises, dogs, people, and environments. I'd love to help provide your pooch with a walk which suits their individual needs. I work from home as a funded PhD researcher for the University of Birmingham and so can be flexible with my working. I am able to walk dogs when other people are traditionally away from home for the day at work. I walk my own dog twice daily but can tailor times to suit you. At present I am only offering dog walking due to renting but watch this space as hopefully in the near future I may be able to offer daily sitting.

About: I took the main care role for the family dog from my late teens and still help out when my parents need. Love to look after any dog in need of love and attention I have a fairly flexible work schedule with part time study. I will have my 6 year old son with me, he is a calm quiet loving little boy, I will have to have him with me on house sits so all dogs must be child friendly. There's a communal garden outside my block of flats where dogs are welcome on lead. There's plenty of field and park spaces nearby for walks and running around.

About: I’ve always been around dogs for the past 16+ years. Dogs are definitely part of the family and I love all dogs of all ages. I’ve looked after a total of 3 dogs simultaneously in previous sitting jobs. Very reliable with walking, bathing and feeding. Experienced in providing medication and following specific care instructions, such as bathing with sensitive shampoo. I am an aeminem assistant so evenings and weekends are free for lots of pet antics. I can’t wait to meet your furry family members. I have pet sat in other peoples houses numerous times, so I’m more than happy to follow any rules you have for your pet and your house. I am respectful of your space and will follow any guidance you set.

About: I have a very energetic dog myself called Ruby who loves all the attention and loves to explore. I take responsibility for feeding her, taking her on walks, making sure she is clean and giving her all the belly rubs she wants. She's not a massive fan of toys, instead she prefers to play with me by laying down on the sofa and running back and forth while I do the same :) Growing up my family all trusted me with our furry friends. I have cared for small dogs such as an elderly pug, who was more of a relaxed dog and just preferred some 1 to 1 cuddles bless her <3, a Frenchie puppy who is very energetic so loves running around and jumping on you, and larger dogs such as an adult chow chow, who also was more of a cuddle dog than a playful dog, but would have a little play when she felt like it. I've had experience caring for all sizes and types of dogs with completely different personalities, so no matter the dog I will sit them with as much love and care as you <3. I'm a college student but currently on summer break until September so I have plenty of free time to look after and play with your best friends, however big or small they may be I love them all ❤️ I have a back garden which my dog loves to go in and a gate on the drive so she can leave the house without being in any danger. I know that different owners have different ways that they keep their dog safe, so when pet sitting I will make sure that your dog is safe at all times, following the same routine your pup is used to, I will also make the atmosphere as friendly as possible to ensure your best friend is happy ☺️

About: I have over 4 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all kinds. I’ve handled daily walks, feeding, grooming, litter box cleaning, playtime, and vet visits. I’m reliable, friendly, and treat every pet with the same love and attention I gave my own. Whether your pet needs structure or cuddles, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. I’m a friendly and responsible sixth-form student with a passion for animals. Although I currently don’t have pets, I’ve cared for both a dog and a cat in the past. I enjoy spending time outdoors, reading, and, of course, being around animals. I’m reliable, attentive, and committed to providing loving care to your pets while you’re away. When looking after pets in their own home, I ensure their routine stays consistent to minimize stress. I provide companionship, regular walks (if needed), and plenty of care, while respecting the pet’s space and the owner’s instructions.

About: Growing up with dogs has instilled in me a profound love and respect for these loyal companions. My childhood taught me invaluable lessons in compassion, responsibility, and understanding the needs of dogs. I am committed to treating your pet with the same care and affection that I provided to my own cherished dogs in the past. Rest assured, your furry friend will receive dedicated attention and a nurturing environment while in my care. Balancing pet care within my part-time work schedule and weekends off as a dog sitter involves meticulous planning and dedication. During weekdays, I focus on afternoon visits, ensuring dogs receive essential care such as feeding, exercise, and companionship. This schedule allows me to cater to their daily needs while accommodating my work commitments. On weekends, with more time available, I dedicate myself fully to dog sitting. I extend walks, engage in longer play sessions, and provide additional attention to ensure each dog's well-being and happiness. This comprehensive approach not only meets their physical requirements but also nurtures a strong bond through consistent interaction and care. Overall, my routine revolves around providing reliable and loving support during afternoons on weekdays and full attention on weekends, creating a fulfilling experience for both the dogs and their owners. In my home, where I have a fenced garden, I ensure pets receive exceptional care in a safe and stimulating environment. Dogs under my watch enjoy regular access to the outdoors, where they can play, exercise, and explore freely within the confines of the secure fencing. This setup allows them to engage in natural behaviors while ensuring their safety.

Matteo P.
“He was very good at taking care of his older dogs and cat from his childhood. I remember he would always ensure to feed them at specific times and ensure thst the food given wasn't neither less or too much. Occasionaly he would also clean the cat's litter. I remember a nice detail of when he was younger, he used to act as a vet and check the pets to ensure they were all healthy, showing how much he really cares about pets in general and want to ensure that they're healthy. I believe he would be a perfect pet sitter for anyone looking for one.”

Benjamin D.
“Hello. Benjamin has been walking my dog now for a few months and she loves him to bits. He’s so good with her. Our vet has said that she needs more walks to loose some weight and trim her nails down naturally as they keep splitting. So Benjamin has been taking her out for us most week days as we both work in the week and don’t have much time. He’s very good with her and takes her over the near by field too as well as taking her on a few long walks. He’s a lovely lad and I’m glad our friend recommended him to us. Regards Tracey.”

D B. goes above and beyond, ensuring pets are happy, safe, and well-cared-for, and they always keep me updated with photos and messages.
