“Ella was the obvious choice to look after our elderly cat Rosie; having booked her help previously, we were confident she'd have everything in hand when we might not be immediately contactable while we were away. Many thanks Ella :-)”

About: I have looked after many pets in my time from friends to family pets and would like to do it more frequently as a lover of animals. I am out of education and just saving up for Uni in September! I work at a restaurant and a coffee shop but only 16hrs a week so have plenty of free time. As i look after mostly dogs, obviously dependent on the age and breed i will take on daily walks or runs even in parks or beaches near. As my shift schedules are short i spend a lot of time hanging out and playing with pets. I am also extremely active so can made due with whatever needs they may have.

About: I have always taken care of any pets when possible. I simply adore animals, especially dogs! Family will always call upon me to pet sit. This can be at home, popping into the walk/feed/fuss or staying over night. My friends comment how much I simply adore Dogs. Any size, type and amount. I will go out of my way to approach everyone with a dog to say hello! I am in the process of expanding my love of dogs to behaviour courses and anything to further my aim of looking after dogs as much and with confidence from yourself as I can I am fully insured and hold full DBS check via my 2 jobs. Feel free to drop me a message at short notice as if I can squeeze in times with any dog I will. I can do overnight stays with your dog. I do this in the dogs home as they are much happier and content in their own environment. I will always meet prior to meet to ensure yourself and the dog is happy(which im sure they will be) I work 3/4 days a week on a rota 3pm each day. Very happy to pop in anytime after that on those days. This leaves me 2/3 days a week spare to offer my services and I'm excited to do so! I will always walk dogs somewhere familiar to them. In terms of boarding I can do this in your home as Dogs are much more settled in their home environment.

About: I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, ensuring they are well-fed, exercised, and comfortable. I’ve looked after a variety of breeds and temperaments, tailoring my approach to each pet’s needs. Whether it’s taking dogs on regular walks, playing with them, or maintaining a clean litter area for cats, I always prioritize their health, happiness, and safety. I’m also attentive to any signs of illness or distress and know when to seek veterinary help. I currently work full time in a school so I would therefore need this to work around my main job. At present I am off for the school holidays and have lots of flexibility however as of the 1st September I will return to work. Monday to Friday I work from 8:45 until 15:45 with two to three later finishes a week, normally no later then 16:00-16:30. On Fridays I finish at 15:30. Weekends I do not work so therefore have more flexibility. Depending on the animal I would like to meet with pet owners at there house to ensure their home and garden is safe and secure enough for me to feel comfortable to take care of their pet.

About: I've owned a dog since I was 10 years old and have loved dogs from day one. I'm a recent graduate of an MSc in Biodiversity and Conservation, so my passion for animals is deep in all aspects of my life. I have owned a dog, Pogo, up until January of 2018 when he unfortunately passed away, so having the opportunity to be around dogs again is something I'm delighted to be able to do. What I can offer: I make sure to keep up to date on information about behaviour and training so as to keep all the doggies I meet happy and safe! I can also help to teach basic obedience and reinforce positive behaviours. I've trained several rescue/foster dogs and have a good amount of experience. Sit, stay, lie down, leave it, recall, dropping and not jumping up are examples I can help to teach, as well as a few tricks such as shake, roll over, and basic agility training. I can also offer other pet care. I have experience caring for other pets such as cats, birds, and reptiles, so I can pet sit extra pets if required. With a part time job I will be able to do pet care mostly midweek. If your pet can be left for a work day then house sitting over work days may be an option! I'll strive to keep your pets comfortable and entertained, making sure their needs are met and that they're getting all the fuss and cuddles they need.

About: I have owned pets my whole life and am soon to qualify as a Registered Veterinary Nurse (currently a student)! I am a passionate animal lover of all shapes and sizes and breeds and species! I love getting to know pets characters and create new bonds and trust with them to build on their social skills and give them all the attention they could ever need! I currently work in a Veterinary Practice 08:30-18:45 Monday-Thursday with an occasional Saturday which will be noted ahead of time for booking ease! I also have 4 family cats of which one of them was a hand-rear and is now thriving at the age of 15! I am able to administer any necessary medications as well as knowing first aid/CPR for multiple different species. I understand strict feeding regimes and pet routines. I love continuing training with pets at the owners request to build a bond with them and give them mental and physical stimulation. I am more than happy to go to both enclosed and open spaces to exercise pets dependant on their needs.

“Ellen was fantastic. She popped in, at short notice, on Christmas Eve to meet Coco and Oreo. It’s evident that she loves animals, as she spent time with them during her drop in sessions, above the amount I booked for. I was thrilled to get photographs of both of them, which made being away so much easier. I have no hesitation in recommending her and will book her again in the future.”

About: From the age of 7 I have been an animal enthusiast and dreamt of working with pets for a living! I have grown up surrounded by animals meaning I understand how to make a pet feel as comfortable and cared for as possible. I have often done pet sitting for friends and neighbours and I can easily adapt to any needs you need met. I am hardworking and trustworthy and I have four pets myself ( two cats and two dogs ) so I understand how important taking care of a pet is… pets mean the world to their owners! If you need a companion to be as playful as your pet by playing games and going on walks or you need a calming influence for your pet i can do it. When handling pets, care and understanding is central to creating a positive environment to help your furry friend feel safe, secure and happy. As the owner of a rescue, I understand the fragility and care some dogs need when their owners are busy and therefore need an extra pair of hands. I am currently working part time to earn some money for university! Education (as wonderful as it is) is also so expensive! I can easily fit taking care of pets around my schedule and I understand how busy so many pet owners are! I am flexible with my schedule and I am able to commit to your pet in order to guarantee a stable relationship. I can adapt myself to cater to the needs of your pet … whether they are anxious and need extra patience or just crave a companion to be as playful as they are- I can do it! I can enforce whatever boundaries that you set in your home and understand the importance of respecting privacy. When pets sitting your pet I am able to create a trusting and safe environment to ensure the security and comfort of your furry friend!

“Karl did an awesome job of looking after our young puppy, Spira. He was really friendly and playful and did a great job of managing Spira's puppy biting and separation anxiety, and even managed to induce some nap time! We would definitely use Karl again.”

About: I have always been a dog lover growing up and, in my teenage years, bought a beautiful cocker spaniel called Maisie. However, since buying my own house and working as a teacher, Maisie is living her older years with my parents. Because we can't have our own dog, my partner and I love to have the company of dogs whenever we can! We have a few dogs who we regularly look after, and love looking after new dogs who we come across on Rover. Being a teacher I have the joy of several weeks off during the year, so during these times I love getting out and taking dogs for long walks on the many walking routes by my house, and love the company during the day. We also care for dogs at weekends and can do during the week too. Our favourite spots spent with our cared for dogs are the beach, the nearby fields and our sofa for cuddles! Please just get in touch if you'd like your dog(s) to stay with us or if you have any questions!

“Chloe was brilliant. She did everything we asked and took great care of our cat whilst we were away making sure he was fed and watered, his litter tray was kept clean and that he received daily medication. She sent regular updates and pictures to make sure we knew how things we were going and meant that we didn't have to worry while we were away. I would definitely use Chloe again.”

Gina was incredibly thorough in gathering all the necessary information about my cat - from feeding preferences and habits to medical needs and emergency contact details. During their visits, I received daily updates with pictures of my cat, showing that she not only fulfilled their basic responsibilities but went above and beyond to provide my pet with love, attention, and personalized care. It was evident from the photos that my cat was happy, relaxed, and comfortable in their presence. In conclusion, if you're searching for a cat sitter who will not only meet your pet's basic needs but also foster a loving and comfortable environment, look no further than Gina. Her exceptional services, attention to detail, and genuine love for cats have earned my utmost trust and gratitude.
