About: Ive walked dogs since I was very small. My mother did this as a younger woman before me, so the skill was always around us! I've had my own reactive rescue that absolutely hated other dogs, and have lived with very large reactive dogs and ones with severe anxiety issues. At this point theres very little that can phase me! I have a small work from home part time job, so Im avalible very often, only needing a short while around 3pm each day to get my daughter from school! I will of course respect your home while I'm checking on your fur-babys and any rules or requirements you have! Just let me know anything you need from me!

Really happy with the professional and caring person Cheyenne is! My dog Dory was checked up on twice daily (my requirements) and I couldn’t be happier with the service that Cheyenne provided. I made videos with instruction when at my property and with caring for Dory and every need was met! I received updates whilst Cheyenne was checking in on Dory which really put me at ease whilst I was away. My booking was made within a really short time scale and Cheyenne accepted the booking - absolutely incredible service and I will definitely be rebooking in the future 😊

About: I have lots of experience with animals - dogs in particular because I have had dogs my whole life. I also took my dog to behaviour/obedience dog training and agility training. I feel I have a strong connection with animals and can handle all types of characters and personalities. I have experience handling nervous dogs and reactive dogs and elderly dogs. I have never owned cats but my family members have lots of cats so I have experience with being around them and looking after them. I am currently a fully time university student looking to build up a bit of money alongside my studies by doing something I absolutely love which is looking after animals. Since being away from home I have found a huge gap in my life because I don’t have my dogs with me - this will allow me to be able to look after animals while I am away from home which is something I love doing. My days weekly vary and times I’m available based on my lectures but if you ping me a message I am sure we can sort something out - I am a very reliable person. I will always make sure the animal has its needs met and will follow the instructions left by the owner to ensure optimal care for the pet and peace of mind for the owner. I know how important your pets are as I have 2 dogs of my own at home and used to have a rabbit and hamsters. I absolutely love and adore all animals.

Jordon looked after our cat for a few days whilst we were away. I would highly recommend her pet caring services. Usually our cat can be nervous around new people but Jordon was gentle with her and we could tell our cat had been happy. We will definitely look to book Jordon for pet caring again in the future.

I’ve cared for pups who are deaf, require medication, or just need a little extra patience and love. Confident with cats too, from independent explorers to cuddly lap cats. I’ve also looked after fish, lizards, and other small pets, and as a dedicated plant lover, I’ll make sure your greenery thrives while you're away. Reliable, calm, and always happy to keep you updated with plenty of cute photos! Hi, I’m Lauren! I love animals, travel, and exploring new places—pet sitting lets me see the world while giving pets all the love and care they’re used to! I have plenty of experience looking after pets and their homes and always make sure they feel happy, comfortable, and stick to their normal routine. Whether that means walks, playtime, cuddles, or just good company, I’m here to keep them safe and loved while you're away. I’m also super active and love morning runs, hiking trails, and exploring new cities—so if your pet enjoys an adventure, I’d love to have them join me! Since I work from home, I’ll be around a lot for extra attention and care. Plus, as a big plant lover, I’ll happily take care of your houseplants too! I’m very clean, tidy, and a respectful guest. I don’t smoke or vape, and I’ll always treat your home with care. If you're looking for a friendly, reliable sitter, I’d love to chat! I am not able to host your pet in my home, however am fully housetrained myself and am more than comfortable keeping your pet happy and safe in the comfort of their own home

About: I have always had a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, invertebrates and reptiles, so I am happy and used to being around most critters! I love long walks in the country or by the sea but also like sitting and cuddling my pets for hours, so whatever your pet needs I can accommodate! I'm currently away from work (I was in the NHS doing ultrasound for 13 years) and am studying to begin my own company! Which means I have plenty of free time for walks and cuddles - middle of the day if you're at work or during the week if you're away! As I currently have a dog and cat in my house I don't feel it fair to offer to board pets unless they are OK with other animals (contact me with questions or requests). I am happy to stay at or visit your home and would be respectful of your space. I am of course happy to meet you and your pet ahead of time to ensure they and you feel comfortable with me!

About: I have a lifetime of experience caring for animals, including my own rescued cats, dogs, and horses. I have looked after three horses on loan, providing daily care, feeding, grooming, and attention to their individual needs. I have rescued and cared for two cats and have owned two dogs, giving me hands-on experience with different personalities, routines, and care requirements. I have also worked at Redwings Horse Sanctuary, supporting the care of horses and running wellbeing activities that connected people with horses. Alongside my animal experience, I run my own small business offering therapeutic forest school work with children and nature connection experiences. This has developed my skills in patience, responsibility, observation, and creating safe, supportive environments for both people and animals. I hold an Enhanced DBS check and I am experienced in working responsibly with both children and animals. I am comfortable providing care such as: • Feeding and maintaining routines • Administering medication where required • Caring for animals with different needs and temperaments • Providing companionship, attention, and reassurance • Looking after animals in a calm, respectful way • Drop in pet sitting, or longer stay-in house and pet sitting if required I understand that pets are part of the family and aim to provide reliable, compassionate care that gives owners peace of mind while they are away. I currently work part time two days a week in a forest school monday and Friday, but have availability the other days, evenings and weekends. Safety, trust and caring for your environment, home and pet is paramount. I have an Enhanced DBS and have a wealth of experience and references.

Lucy very kindly, at short notice and fair travel distance, did a 'drop in visit' for my puppy Henry. They went for a walk and had lunch, Henry was happy and had a lovely time! I'm sure Henry would be happy to rebook Lucy

About: I have had pet dogs and cats since the age of 10 and have also spent lots of time caring for friends and family pets. For 15 years I ran a smallholding with goats, pigs, sheep and various types of poultry and also farm sat on a regular basis at a 100 head goat farm. Experienced in milking and kidding. I love all types of animals, love spending time with them and treat them all as if they were my own. I'm happy to house sit and care for your animals throughout the UK and Europe. I am currently working part time but this is very flexible and from January 2026 I'll be available for full time pet sitting. I can't wait. I will look after your pets and your house as if they were my own. I am very reliable and trustworthy and have a DBS check.

About: Me and my partner work from home full time and would love the company of a four-legged friend. I only ever take in one dog at a time, this means your dog gets 100% of my attention, the best spot on the sofa, and a routine that doesn't change just because they aren't at home. I keep my client list small and exclusive to ensure I can be available when you need it most. My home is a calm and quiet space, I have no dogs or kids of my own and live it a very quite estate on the edge of norwich. Whether we’re heading out for a long afternoon walk or just hanging out while I’m at my desk, your dog will be treated exactly like my own. They’ll have the run of the house and plenty of belly rubs. I have a completely fenced garden which they have access to as much as needed. I have a very cosy office with a sofa they have exclusive use of.

About: I originally trained and worked 10 years as a qualified veterinary nurse, caring for both cats and dogs. I developed an interest in dog behaviour, I then retrained to become a certified dog trainer in 2020 and have been a full time dog trainer ever since. I have a passion for gundogs and I am a Spaniel, reactivity and puppy specialist. I have a great passion for helping dogs owners to meet their dogs needs and resolve their behaviour struggles. I am currently in the process of completing a level 6 Diploma in canine clinical behaviour to further expand my business. Dogs and cats in my care will be well understood and looked after. All breeds and temperaments welcome. I am quite flexible with hours and times and happy to do weekends when I’m available. Looking after and training animals is what I do best. All cats and dogs will be kept to their normal routine as much as possible and loved like they were my own pet. Each pet is treated as an individual and all their specific needs will be met.

About: Level 3 canine carer. I am DBS checked. Have lived with staffies for 20 years. Worked in multiple dog care jobs and rescue centres. Absolutely nothing I love more. I currently work zero hour so I am very flexible with what hours I do. We can figure out whatever time is suitable for the three of us☺️ To start I will do a drop in session with you and your pet to have a chat and find out a bit more about their characteristics from you and places they love to walk! I completely understand how nerve wracking it can be leaving your pet in someone else’s care, as a dog owner myself I only want the best for my dog which is why I think it is best to meet and greet first before doing any solo walking or sitting!

There are 189 sitters on Rover for Cat Sitting in Waveney. About 90% of Waveney sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter trays. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialisation or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
