We especially loved the regular photos and updates Nina sent while we were away- it was so reassuring to see how happy and settled our dog was. “I was looking for an alternative to kennels for my 19 month old French bulldog x and came across rover. I carefully looked through all the potential pet sitters (after putting in all my requirements) and came across Mat, he was really friendly and answered any questions I had, we had a meet and greet which went very well (my dog was welcomed with open arms the minute we got there) and even though I was nervous, as this was my dogs first stay away with strangers, I really didn’t need to be. Mat and his family took very good care of my dog, over the four night stay he was there, and sent me pictures every day of him to keep my mind at peace. When I went to pick to my dog up he was very happy and chilled out and dare I say didn’t want to leave. I would highly recommend Mat and his family to look after your furry friend and I will definitely be rebooking with Mat in the future.”

About: I have lots of experience with animals - dogs in particular because I have had dogs my whole life. I also took my dog to behaviour/obedience dog training and agility training. I feel I have a strong connection with animals and can handle all types of characters and personalities. I have experience handling nervous dogs and reactive dogs and elderly dogs. I have never owned cats but my family members have lots of cats so I have experience with being around them and looking after them. I am currently a fully time university student looking to build up a bit of money alongside my studies by doing something I absolutely love which is looking after animals. Since being away from home I have found a huge gap in my life because I don’t have my dogs with me - this will allow me to be able to look after animals while I am away from home which is something I love doing. My days weekly vary and times I’m available based on my lectures but if you ping me a message I am sure we can sort something out - I am a very reliable person. I will always make sure the animal has its needs met and will follow the instructions left by the owner to ensure optimal care for the pet and peace of mind for the owner. I know how important your pets are as I have 2 dogs of my own at home and used to have a rabbit and hamsters. I absolutely love and adore all animals.

About: I've had cats since I was born, at one point having 5 at once! So I know they have their quirks and character traits! When I'm away, I want to know that my cat is being loved and given the time and space to trust his new carer, as well as plenty of cuddles and playtime, so that is what I would provide for your beloved cat!

“Hannah took on our challenging pets and managed them well. We have a blind Bengal and a very wild Savannah cat. She gave lots of updates and I was able to enjoy a night away without worry.”

“Lucy has done such a lovely job looking after our senior cat again - he loves her and we’ve come home to a very happy and relaxed cat! The updates were brilliant and we’d recommend her 100%. Thank you Lucy!”

About: I’ve recently moved out of my family home, where we had seven cats, so it’s safe to say everyone knows me as the crazy cat lady! I’ve grown up caring for all sorts of personalities and breeds, from playful Ragdolls and Maine Coons to rescue cats and tabbies, looking after them from tiny kittens right through to their senior years. I know every cat is different, whether they want endless fuss or prefer their own space, and I’m happy to go at their pace. Even on walks I can’t resist stopping to say hello to any friendly cat I meet! I’ll make sure your cat feels safe, loved and well cared for while you’re away, with plenty of updates to give you peace of mind.

About: I have rescued and cared for two cats, giving me hands-on experience with different personalities, routines, and care requirements. I have also worked at Redwings Horse Sanctuary, supporting the care of horses and running wellbeing activities that connected people with horses. Alongside my animal experience, I run my own small business offering therapeutic forest school work with children and nature connection experiences. This has developed my skills in patience, responsibility, observation, and creating safe, supportive environments for both people and animals. I hold an Enhanced DBS check and I am experienced in working responsibly with both children and animals. I am comfortable providing care such as: • Feeding and maintaining routines • Administering medication where required • Caring for animals with different needs and temperaments • Providing companionship, attention, and reassurance • Looking after animals in a calm, respectful way • Drop in pet sitting, or longer stay-in house and pet sitting if required I understand that pets are part of the family and aim to provide reliable, compassionate care that gives owners peace of mind while they are away.
About: Me and my partner work from home full time and would love the company of a four-legged friend. I only ever take in one dog at a time, this means your dog gets 100% of my attention, the best spot on the sofa, and a routine that doesn't change just because they aren't at home. I keep my client list small and exclusive to ensure I can be available when you need it most. My home is a calm and quiet space, I have no dogs or kids of my own and live it a very quite estate on the edge of norwich. Whether we’re heading out for a long afternoon walk or just hanging out while I’m at my desk, your dog will be treated exactly like my own. They’ll have the run of the house and plenty of belly rubs. I have a completely fenced garden which they have access to as much as needed. I have a very cosy office with a sofa they have exclusive use of.
“Thomas, provided drop in visits for our cockerpoos whilst my husband was working. He offered quick response times and provided photo updates. I would definitely recommend him and use him again.”
About: Level 3 canine carer. I am DBS checked. Have lived with staffies for 20 years. Worked in multiple dog care jobs and rescue centres. Absolutely nothing I love more. I currently work zero hour so I am very flexible with what hours I do. We can figure out whatever time is suitable for the three of us☺️ To start I will do a drop in session with you and your pet to have a chat and find out a bit more about their characteristics from you and places they love to walk! I completely understand how nerve wracking it can be leaving your pet in someone else’s care, as a dog owner myself I only want the best for my dog which is why I think it is best to meet and greet first before doing any solo walking or sitting!
About: I have had pet dogs and cats since the age of 10 and have also spent lots of time caring for friends and family pets. I’m confident handling energetic puppies, gentle seniors, and everything in between, always making sure each dog feels happy, comfortable, and well cared for while in my care. I carefully balance pet care alongside my work and college schedule by offering set, reliable time slots that fit naturally into my daily routine, such as mornings, afternoons, and evenings. “Laura was very friendly and looked after my dogs for a day. She sent me updates on how they were settling in. The dogs were happy and tired afterwards! I would definitely recommend Laura and wouldn’t hesitate to use her again. Thank you Laura x”

“Absolutely perfect. It was my first time using Rover. I was so undecided whether to bring Odin for our weekend away as he gets a bit fed up being dragged around on lead but didn’t want to leave him in kennels. I felt doggy daycare for a couple of afternoons would be the best of both worlds. Maxine & hubby was so lovely, booked us in at short notice, responded to messages super quick and we felt 100% comfortable leaving him. Without a doubt if we come down this way again we would love Maxine to look after him. Thank you for being so wonderful!”

“Plato enjoyed a lovely day with Sarah! He was very excited to see her when we arrived which was a great sign that he felt comfortable on his last visit. Great photos of him enjoying the garden and relaxing in her kitchen. Very happy to have found Sarah to look after him.”

“Simi has been visiting Charlotte on a fairly regular basis for a few months, but had her first ‘sleep over’ a few days ago. I dropped off a very relaxed, happy dog, and collected an even happier one. Charlotte has such a lovely way with dogs, Simi even left with a card telling us about her adventures ….. a lovely touch! Thank you Charlotte for looking after and loving our girl so well!”

“Pinar took such good care of our miniature dachshund bramble. She gave us lots of updates throughout, photos and videos. We felt like Pintar and her family looked after Bramble as if she was their own dog. Would definitely recommend her to anyone”

“Bounty was looked after so well, great communication and photo updates throughout her stay. She seemed very comfortable when we collected her and clearly had enjoyed herself. About: I have always had a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, invertebrates and reptiles, so I am happy and used to being around most critters! I love long walks in the country or by the sea but also like sitting and cuddling my pets for hours, so whatever your pet needs I can accommodate! Which means I have plenty of free time for walks and cuddles - middle of the day if you're at work or during the week if you're away! As I currently have a dog and cat in my house I don't feel it fair to offer to board pets unless they are OK with other animals (contact me with questions or requests). I am happy to stay at or visit your home and would be respectful of your space. I am of course happy to meet you and your pet ahead of time to ensure they and you feel comfortable with me!

I love all types of animals, love spending time with them and treat them all as if they were my own. I'm happy to house sit and care for your animals throughout the UK and Europe. I am currently working part time but this is very flexible and from January 2026 I'll be available for full time pet sitting. I can't wait. I will look after your pets and your house as if they were my own. I am very reliable and trustworthy and have a DBS check.

“When it comes to sitters Sarah is 5*. He kind and caring nature makes you feel at such ease that your pet is being taken care of! Daily updates with pictures of what they have been up too that day! We will always be asking Sarah to look after our Otis when we require!”
“Nina looked after our dog at her home while we were away on holiday, and we couldn’t have been happier with the care she provided. She was kind, considerate, and incredibly gentle, and it was clear from the start that our dog was in very safe hands. We especially loved the regular photos and updates Nina sent while we were away- it was so reassuring to see how happy and settled our dog was. Nina took her out to some lovely places, kept her active and busy, and clearly gave her lots of attention and affection. We would absolutely recommend Nina to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy pet sitter. We will definitely be re-booking the next time we go away!”

“Charlotte was so amazing with my dog, Betty. Really took care to understand her and make sure she was happy and safe. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Charlotte again. Thank you so much Charlotte! X”

“Rocky seemed to be happy on arrival and collecting from Heidi, we got regular updates with photos and texts while away and an update when we collected him on how he had been especially as this was the first time we had left him for 3 nights. We will be using Heidi services again soon and I’m sure Rocky will be excited to see her again xx”

“What can I say about Cookies stay. It was fantastic. Christina took such care of Cookie and put my mind at ease as this was the first time that Cookie has ever been left. Photo and video updates all day long. Which were very much appreciated. Andy, Christina's husband was great with Cookie too. They have a love for animals that shines through. I would recommend them to anyone. I will definitely be asking them to look after Cookie again with out hesitation. Thank you so much from me and Cookie. ❤️🐶👍😁”

“Gareth and Marius were lovely and very accommodating. They were very communicative, sending updates and pictures everyday of Cooper’s stay. Cooper was clearly sad to leave. Would 100% book Gareth again.”

“Andrea is great with our dog, Tarly. He is very happy to stay with her and Estelle. We received photos and a video and knew he was having lovely walks in the snow. Andrea also was very accommodating and patient when we had car issues which delayed us. We highly recommend Andrea.”

“Our border terrier Clover had a great time with Lillia. She sent us lots of photos showing Clover relaxed and happy. The family all listened to our explaining Clovers needs and foibles and I would definitely leave Clover with Lillia again. Highly recommended.”

“As soon as I met Victoria I knew she was responsible, friendly and approachable. I felt my dog was enjoying himself with Victoria’s dog and was sent photos of them playing together. I had complete faith in her being able to look after Bailey and when he returned home he was tired but happy.”

“Sejal was brilliant when looking after Monty on his first boarding experience on Rover. She regularly sent photos of him having the best time on some lovely walks and enjoying her and her family's company. He returned a very happy boy and I wouldn't hesitate to re comment Sejal to others! Thank you so much!”

“Thank you Jan for taking such excellent care of our little lady. We feel so blessed to have found someone who is professional yet so caring and somehow instantly created a home from home for Lucrezia. Perfect! We look forward to her upcoming next stay.”

“Dudley had the best time with Charlotte, he is definitely missing Deezy! Charlotte kept me up to date with how Dudley was and I had no concerns whilst I was away. Highly recommend Charlotte to look after your doggy! 🤩”

About: Lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds and personalities. I've looked after many happy Rover guests with my husband and am now welcoming them through my own profile. Your dog will enjoy a loving home, plenty of attention, and over 2 acres of fully fenced, secure garden to explore and play safely. I work from home, so your dog will rarely be left alone and will always have company throughout the day. I have a large, comfortable home with air conditioning for hot summer days, plus over 2 acres of fully fenced, secure garden where dogs can safely run, play, explore, or simply relax. I tailor the day to each dog's energy level and routine, making sure they feel safe, happy, and at home. Your dog's safety, comfort, and routine are our top priorities. I have a friendly 9-year-old Labrador who loves the company of other dogs and gets on well with canine visitors. I follow your dog's usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any medication if required. I'm also happy to accommodate their preferred sleeping arrangements—whether that's in our bedroom, their own bed, another room, or a crate—so they feel as relaxed and at home as possible.

“Ernie had a lovely time with Gabriella. She kept me up to date while I was away and sent me pics and videos. She took him out on lovely walks and was very caring of him. Thanks so much! “Our dog Rocky stayed with Pinar and her lovely family for a second time whilst we went abroad on holiday for a week. Pinar kept in contact with us regularly and sent photos and videos to reassure us that Rocky was well and happy. I couldn’t recommend Pinar enough and Rocky will be staying with her when we go away next time because we trust her completely. Thank you Pinar ❤️”

“Sylvia and her husband did a fantastic job of looking after my Pointer Hudson and put my mind at rest before leaving him with them for 12 days. Sylvia obviously loves dogs and done everything possible to make sure Hudson was happy and settled during his stay, I received twice daily pictures and updates of them having walks and fun together, Sylvia even contacted me if she was unsure whether Hudson would be happy to do certain activities like go to the small lake area close by. If you are looking for a loving and truly caring person to look after your pet I honestly don’t think you will find anyone better that Sylvia and I shall definitely book her next time I have to go away. 10 stars from us.”
