I was so undecided whether to bring Odin for our weekend away as he gets a bit fed up being dragged around on lead but didn’t want to leave him in kennels. I felt doggy daycare for a couple of afternoons would be the best of both worlds. Maxine & hubby was so lovely, booked us in at short notice, responded to messages super quick and we felt 100% comfortable leaving him. Without a doubt if we come down this way again we would love Maxine to look after him. Thank you for being so wonderful!”

About: We had our own beautiful border collie for 8 years, who has sadly passed. We have also looked after dogs for friends and love getting out walking with them. We have the beach, woods, parks and fields on our doorstep. We would love to give your dog a comfortable stress free home whilst you are away. We would prefer to meet them first to decide if we, you and your dog would be happy for us to care for them. My husband and I are both retired. We have no other commitments so your dog would be our priority. There would always be someone here, so the dog would never be alone. We have a small fenced back garden and spacious living room area. We also have a crate if thats what your dog is used you.

About: My husband and I have an expansive house with a large enclosed garden. We have many pets and are huge animal lovers. Our pets are completely spoilt and get treated like kings and queens under our roof. I’m a nurse and my caring nature comes naturally. I love spending all my spare time with animals and enjoying walks with my spaniel. I’m extremely lucky that my job as a nurse allows me to work some days from home. My husband also works from home but goes into London once a week. I don’t work 5 days a week and often have more days off as I work long shifts. However, when I do work from home your pet will have lots of cuddles and will have a long walk during my lunch break Animals are allowed free rein of the house and are allowed on sofas and beds. They have a 0.75 acre panoramic garden which is enclosed and gated for safety. It has many smells, trees and sticks which makes it great fun for dogs to explore

About: I grew up with pets so I know what it takes to keep them happy & healthy. I am very energetic and good at keeping control of the leash during walks. Beagles have a special place in my heart. I have owned birds, bunnies, guinea pigs, cats, fish, and dogs. Dogs are the world's greatest friends. Having me as a dog walker/sitter will make you feel at ease because you know your dog is safe with me. I am very reliable, and have good references. I am available any day and time. I work from home, which provides a lot of flexibility and allows me to spend time with my dog and take care of others. I have a friendly beagle to keep your dog company. Dogs are allowed upstairs and on the furniture. My home is there home! There are quiet spaces provided if your dog prefers to be in its own environment.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 11, family, friends and neighbours have always asked me to walk and care for their dogs when they are busy and give them a happy loving place when they can’t be around. I now have 2 dogs of my own a chihuahua and a French bulldog they’re both fully trained, they’re spoilt everyday with love and lots of play time. I love making a dogs day the best day possible while in my care. I’m available everyday from morning to afternoon and have plenty of time to play with your pups! You can always count on me to be ready to give your pets the best day! I have a dog to keep your fur baby company, we will have plenty of cuddles and play time. About: I’ve have pets most of my life and have raised several dogs from the puppy stage and cats from kittens. We live in a property far from a main road over a stream and on the edge of a lovely big meadow. We also have an enclosed secure garden. My husband and I are both retired so your pets would have plenty of company and exercise. We are retired so happy to give your pet as much exercise as they need. We would typically walk dogs first thing in the morning and then additional walks as needed. We have a secure garden and are on the edge of a large meadow. We have space for crates if your dog prefers to sleep in a crate.

About: I have looked after pets ever since I was a little boy, whether that was my own or a family or friends. When I was younger I helped my parents puppy train the dogs we had and I have done the same with mine ever since. My passion lies with animals and giving them all the care, love & attention they deserve. Working from home means I can do this :) I currently work full time from home so I can give your pet all the care and attention in the world along with plenty of playtime and love! I have a 4 bedroom house with a fenced garden where your pooch can feel at home. There are plenty of shaded areas also. When the weather is nice I can take playtime outside for them or at your wishes! I lost my 2 of my fur babies earlier this year and August of last year and have been devastated ever since. I now currently have just a small miniature poodle who is coming up to a year old. He is lovely & he loves all dogs and would love a friend to play with. If you would like your dog kept separate then that is of course fine as well. We have plenty of toys and treats here but feel free to bring your own if that makes them feel more comfortable :)

Everything in Charlotte’s home and garden is set up to be dog friendly and she was very flexible about delivery and pick up times. During his stay, Charlotte sent me regular updates and pictures- he was clearly having a fab time. Duggie came home a very chilled and happy boy and a lovely touch was that Charlotte sent him home with a little diary of his holiday with her. About: Hi I’m Kelly, I have had animals since as long as I can remember, they have always been a huge part of the family. I work from home and so this enables me to give the animals constant love and attention. We live in an area full of beautiful places to walk the dog’s, we also have a big enclosed garden with tall fences. The animals have full roam of the house. We have one cat and one lovely dog called Mini - they live in harmony together. We do have a door that can separate the house into two areas if the animals that we look after don’t get along. About: Hello, I am Alison and live with my husband and two daughters, aged 10 and 14, on an 8 acre small holding near Pulham Market. I have had dogs for the past 15 years. I have free range chickens and three barn cats who do not come into the house. Please note that although these are outside animals, they are still our pets and loved dearly. I do not currently have any dogs as our lovely whippet Megan passed away in January from old age. I have had all our dogs since puppies so I am experienced with all age dogs from puppy to old age. My mum has a retired greyhound which I look after, and my brother has a golden retriever and a rescued Portuguese street dog which again I look after when needed. I work part time from home so there is always someone in the house. I particularly love long dog walks and enjoy having a companion with me. My mum's retired greyhound is very nervous and reactive so have experience with anxious dogs and rescues. I will only have one dog stay at a time (unless they are from the same household, of course) so I can tailor the activities (ie long walks, short walks etc) to suit your dog's needs and requirements. On a side note, and I appreciate this isn't everybody's cup of tea, but I am also Reiki Master and have had wonderful results giving Reiki to animals. I have treated a 13 year old labrador which back leg issues with incredible results. Apart from physical ailments, Reiki can also provide effective relief from anxiety and really helps to calm dogs down. I would be delighted, with your permission, to provide Reiki to your dog, if needed, whilst in our care. I will provide regular photos and video updates whilst your dog is with us. Just to be clear, I will be the primary person taking care of your dog but my husband and daughters will also be in the house with your dog. Please note, I am 5'4" and weight 52kg so I am pretty small. Please bear that in mind especially if you have a large dog or your dog pulls on the lead as I'm unlikely to be the right person for your dog. I work part time from home so I are available for sitting and day care every day of the week including weekends. I welcome both long and short stays. I would go for walk first thing each day and in the evenings plus a mid day walk if needed and they can have as many personal needs breaks outside as wanted. This will obviously be tailored to each individual dog and their specific requirements I have a large dog crate which can be used if needed but your fur baby will have access to the whole house, apart from my Pilates studio. I have dog beds dotted around the house plus plenty of blankets and towels to make your dog comfortable. I live on an 8 acre small holding but due to the other animals (including deer, hares, pheasants, rabbits, chickens, barn cats etc) I would keep your dog on a lead for their safety. Walks would be through fields, lanes and the local woods. I’d need to know their dog’s routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any medical or behavioural requirements. It’s also helpful to know how they are with other dogs and people, whether they’re house-trained, and if there are any fears, triggers, or special comforts they have. This helps me make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for.
