About: I’ve been around and owned dogs since childhood although I currently have no pets. My last dog had puppies so I have lots of experience of caring for younger dogs. As an active person who enjoys being outside I’d welcome the opportunity to have a dog to take for some lovely walks. My children adore dogs and would give lots of attention and cuddles. I work very flexible and part time hours so spend a lot of time at home and am never very far away if needed :) I keep my doors locked at all times.. My garden is large and fully enclosed. . I have children who are older, are used to animal's and responsible around dogs.

About: For the past three years, I've had the joy of caring for two wonderful dogs, which has given me extensive experience in pet care and understanding their needs. From daily walks and playtime to grooming and training, I've developed a strong bond with them and learned how to ensure they are happy and healthy. Recently, I've welcomed a new puppy into my home, and over the past month, I've been focused on socializing and training him, using the skills I've gained from my previous experience. This combination of caring for both adult dogs and a playful puppy has deepened my love for animals and my commitment to providing the best care possible. I work Wednesday-Friday 8am-5pm and these hours I will be out the house, other than that, I can be home as needed. We do have a dog walker for our puppy so can always enquire about adding an extra if we are caring for your pup however this cannot be guaranteed. My partner ensures to walk our dog early in the morning before work and we would make sure an evening walk was included too if needed. I also have our puppy at home so need to fulfil his needs so always make sure he is left in a safe environment with lots of toys to keep him busy. During the evenings we spend lots of time training and playing with our pup and going on walks if he hasn’t been out with the dog walker. Once he is tired out we make sure he gets lots of cuddles and treats before bedtime. Having our pup for 7 months now has given us a routine like this which we would include your fur baby into aswell and give them the best care possible. I have a fenced garden with a grass area, enough space for your dog to run around and use the toilet. We currently don’t allow our puppy upstairs but we have a stair gate so they can’t get through. Our house is already puppy proofed for our fur baby which makes it safe for all other dogs too!

About: I have extensive knowledge of a variety of animals. I have completed the Animal Care level 2 course in College in 2015. I have had pets myself since I was around 13 years old. I used to go to work with my mum who worked on a farm and helped her with looking after all the animals that lived there. I enjoy and appreciate every moment I get with any animal, and I always use my knowledge/experience to make sure they receive the best quality of care whilst boarding with me. I work with "pets are family" close to my heart at all times. I have experience with bathing dogs too, if this service is needed it will be completed free of charge during your pets stay. I understand that every family and their pet is unique, and I was always try my best to make sure all needs are accommodated to for everyone. If you have any queries please just ask, I am always available for an informal chat. I am currently a stay at home mum, so I am 100% flexible. I can do overnight stays at my own home, or visit your home whenever is needed. I live in a 3 bedroom house with a back and front garden, I also live near some lovely nature walks. I always make sure pets in my care are treated with respect and are looked after as one of my own. If visiting a pet at their own home, I will always respect the owners wishes with how they want their pet to be looked after. I allow pets on my own sofas and beds, but if this is not wanted by the owners then that will be upheld.

About: Hi, I am Jane Dunn, and have been a dog lover since childhood. When asked as a child what I would like to do when I grew up, I always said 'I want to live in the country and work with dogs' It's taken me a while, but dreams do come true. I have a background in canine nutrition and plenty of hands-on experience. I am certified in Canine First Aid and currently working towards obtaining a Puppy Training Diploma. With resident dogs Flora (a pocket rocket Sproodle) and Milo (a sweet-natured Cocker Spaniel), your dog will be welcomed into a well-balanced and sociable home environment. Whether planning a holiday or needing reliable care during a busy time, you can trust that your dog will be treated with love, respect, and expert care, just like one of our own. Home Boarding - Day Care - Group & Solo Walks - Drop In Visits Certified in Canine First Aid, DBS Checked Licensed by Somerset Council and Insured by Protectivity Pet Care is my day job so your dog will not have to work around my schedule. We may have additional dogs boarding or in day care and we will fit around your dogs schedule. We feel incredibly lucky to call this beautiful corner of Somerset our home. Nestled in a peaceful rural setting, our spacious home is surrounded by rolling fields, quiet lanes, and stunning countryside walks—quite literally right outside our door. It is the perfect environment for dogs to relax, explore, and enjoy nature at its best. When your dog stays with us, they become part of our family. They will live in our home, sharing the sofa and woodburner with us and our two resident dogs, Flora and Milo. Whether they are stretched out snoozing in a sunny spot in the courtyard, playing in the secure garden, or joining us for a stroll through the fields or streams, they will be treated with the same love and care we give our own.

About: One notable example of my experience is when I volunteered to assist a friend in addressing her dog's anxiety and improving his social interaction with humans. This involved spending considerable time observing, understanding, and working on the dog's behavior. Through patience, dedication, and positive reinforcement techniques, I was able to help lower the dog's anxiety levels and gradually improve his ability to interact comfortably with humans. This experience not only demonstrates my ability to handle and manage dogs with behavioral challenges but also reflects my commitment to enhancing the well-being and overall quality of life for the dogs in my care. In addition to specific situations like the one mentioned above, I have also gained extensive experience in dog walking. Spending numerous hours walking dogs of various breeds and temperaments has given me valuable insights into handling different energy levels, behavioral tendencies, and specific needs during walks. I currently have a part-time job usually working on a Monday and possibly one day on the weekend. So I have so much availability to dog walk and/or pet sitting including upto multiple over night stays. When it comes to caring for pets during pet sitting, upholding trust, and ensuring their safety, I prioritize their well-being above all else. Here is how I approach each aspect: 1. Caring: I believe that genuine care and compassion are the foundations of providing exceptional pet sitting services. I take the time to understand each pet's unique needs, preferences, and routines. This includes familiarizing myself with their feeding schedule, exercise requirements, and any specific medical or behavioral needs. I ensure that they receive individualized attention and affection, making them feel comfortable, loved, and secure in their environment. 2. Trust: Building trust with pets is crucial for their well-being. I establish trust by creating a calm and nurturing atmosphere, using positive reinforcement techniques in training, and maintaining consistency in their care routine. I also ensure that their environment is safe, comfortable, and stimulating, minimizing any potential stress or anxiety. Clear communication with pet owners is essential, and I provide regular updates on their pet's activities, behavior, and well-being to maintain trust and transparency. 3. Safety: The safety of the pets in my care is of utmost importance. I take several measures to ensure their safety at all times. This includes securely gating and fencing any designated play areas, using appropriate harnesses and leashes during walks, and supervising them during outdoor activities. By combining a caring, trustworthy approach and a strong focus on safety, I strive to provide a worry-free, nurturing environment for pets during pet sitting. My ultimate goal is to ensure that their physical and emotional needs are met, allowing them to thrive and providing pet owners with the confidence and reassurance that their beloved pets are well taken care of.

We both lead active lifestyles, enjoy hiking, and live right by the beach — perfect for fun outdoor walks! Our goal is simply to care for your pets as if they were our own, giving them all the love, attention, and care they deserve. If you’re looking for trustworthy, caring, and responsible pet sitters, we’d love to meet you and your furry friends! I work full but I have some days off . Me and my partner are doing this just to have fun ! My partner works many days from home so between both of us we can manage to take care of the pets. We are currently with no kids and other pets so it makes the perfect environment to start doing pet sitting I have a fanced garden and we have close to our house a lovely walk that goes through the river and beach. Dogs will love to walk there!

Emily is brilliant at what she offers to those who want to provide their pet a safe, fun and loving time. She really loves what she does and my dogs adore her. I have two high energy dogs and Emily is always the first person I ask when it comes to pet sitting when I go away on holiday. I never have any doubt and feel great and stress-free knowing my dogs are so well taken care of whenever I travel. Emily is responsive, passionate and extremely reliable - Emily has a great bond with my dogs and has also helped me out on walks where I struggle with them both on my own. On top of all that, she is a caring and warm person who really enjoys and loves looking after animals. I would highly recommend her for any dog-sitting service you may require, my family thinks the world of her and my dogs absolutely love her.

Jane is exceptionally caring and responsible and has looked after my labrador a number of times. The biggest testimony to Jane's ability is that my dog jumps out of the car and runs to her when looking after him. Jane provides daily updates on my dog when he stays with her along with photos and details of what walks he has been on. I feel like not only is my dog being looked after and cared for but in addition, he is happy and enjoying himself as well.

Abi is a kind, smiley and gentle soul. She loves all animals and is very gentle and caring. She genuinely wants the best for all animals. She lives with three dogs and is always walking them and having play time with them. Abi always considers the safety of the dogs that she is walking and caring for and genuinely wants to make sure they have a fun time. Abi became a vegetarian at 3 years old, saying that she couldn't eat anything that had a face. Nearly 30 years later Abi is still a 'veggie'! Abi naturally provides great customer service. We had charlotte come to pet sit for us to look after our 9 month old Labrador in September ‘23. This was a 2 week sit when we were on holiday. No small task with a boisterous but obviously fun grown up puppy. We can wholeheartedly say Charlotte did a great job looking after the dog and the house - she took the dog duties seriously and we came home to a very tidy home and a relaxed puppy! We got regular updates and photos and couldn’t recommend her services more.

Very calm and patient, has an amazing way with my doggo who can be quite anxious. Knowledgeable with a good natural sense around animals. Tobie has been a huge help in socialising my doggo and creating trust in people and the environment, so he is better able to manage the world around him.

About: Hi! We are a friendly couple — a veterinarian and an engineer — who are passionate about animals and nature. We do share the house with a lovely pair of guinea pigs and would love to offer our help to fellow pet owners in the neighborhood. We both lead active lifestyles, enjoy hiking, and live right by the beach — perfect for fun outdoor walks! Our goal is simply to care for your pets as if they were our own, giving them all the love, attention, and care they deserve. For us, this is not about business, but about sharing our time and affection with animals — just because we love them.
