About: I have had cats since I was 5 years old and dogs for 3 years. I have handled everything from feeding and cleaning to birth and feeding newborns every two hours. I even have experience nursing a cat with congenital heart failure. I have a trained Afghan hound who can be off leash, so I am no stranger to stubborn active “untrainable” dogs. I am currently free with no commitments and so if needed can take on same day booking for walking and check ins. I will always update my availability. I will always follow the instructions and requirements given by owners. I understand the level of trust placed by owners to anyone they entrust the care of their beloved pet or their home environment and therefore understand that communication is vital. I will always give a report about the walk / check in and will update owners on any injury or out of the ordinary behaviour. My vast experience permits me to recognise canine and feline body language paying attention to the small details.

About: Hi I'm Leanne, I'm a 33 year old postgraduate student who's dedicated to animal care with over a decade of experience in caring for cats, dogs and other pets including rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, birds etc. I have experience in looking after young, adult, senior and sick pets, administrating oral medication, following set routines and dog walking of various breeds. I have also volunteered for the RSPCA over the years and always look for opportunities related to animal care. I'm able to sit on short notice and as well as your pets being my priority, I would also treat your home with the upmost respect and provide regular updates on your furry friends with messages, pictures and videos :) I have owned cats and small pets myself, and I am my friends go-to when they need a pet sitter in a pinch! A written reference can be provided here on request. I have plenty of experience with dogs of various breeds, however only up to medium sizes and would not be comfortable walking overly large breeds. I would like to continue caring for animals as a regular pet sitter due to my love in looking after pets and keeping them company. It's something that brings me joy and I'd be happy to create good connections with animal care in my area. I'll also be gaining experience in doggy day care and grooming this autumn as a volunteer to further my skills, alongside canine CPR which I will add to my profile on completion. Aside from my love for animals I have recently completed a master's degree in English literature and creative writing and would like to pet sit around my further PhD studies commencing in October. I also enjoy reading, travel and photography. Additional notes: £15 minimum travel expenses may be added to the booking depending on distance. If more tasks are required than a standard pet sit, for example specialist care, this will incur an additional charge which can be discussed during an inquiry. I'm also happy to extend a booking if there's delays on your return if I'm available that day. This will add another £35 overnight rate to the total. I am currently available full time to pet sit, working remotely which fits perfectly around caring for your pets. I am able to give them as much attention as they need throughout the day and they are always my top priority. I always follow the owner's routine to ensure your pet doesn't suffer any stress whilst you are away. I make sure they are fed, have constant access to fresh water, treats and plenty of cuddles. If you have a garden I love to go out a few times a day and monitor when your dog needs the loo. I will walk your dog at least 30 minutes every day and follow any guidelines you have for routes and behaviour. I provide daily/twice daily updates for your peace of mind and make sure your home is tidy on your return.

About: I have experience with dogs through a part-time business, helping out family and friends, and voluntary work abroad. I have taken care of lots of different breeds, sizes and ages and therefore can cater to any needs! I currently am self-employed as a part-time Gardener, which means I often have spare weekdays in which I have time to look after local pets! I have grown up with two cats and surrounded by the dogs and cats of family/friends, meaning I am very comfortable pet sitting and have lots of experience, which creates a relaxed atmosphere for pets to feel safe and most importantly happy!

“It was a pleasure to meet Lois. She looked after my two elderly cats wonderfully! She spent time with my oldest boy, Kevin, who’s friendly and loves fuss. They really bonded! My other cat, Perry, was mainly out, or in the garden but Lois sent pictures and let me know he’d eaten his food. I’ll definitely book Lois next time I’m away!😁”

“Fazila and her family have made us feel so relaxed leaving our cat with then. Fazila sent us messages and pictures everyday keeping us updated and it was lovely to see how well he settled. I can not recommend her enough and hopefully Kenny will come back for visits in the future.”

About: Hi! My name is Rosie, and I’ve been passionate about caring for animals for as long as I can remember. I’ve gained hands-on experience through nearly a year and a half of voluntary work at a doggy day care, where I helped with feeding, cleaning, and keeping the dogs happy and entertained. What began as school work experience quickly turned into a long-term opportunity, as the staff invited me to stay on after I finished school. I also spent three months working on a farm, where I handled, fed, and cleaned a variety of animals as part of my training. I’ve completed my Level 1 Animal Care qualification and began working toward Level 2 before taking a job in retail, with plans to return and complete my studies. Alongside my practical experience, I’ve always had animals in my life — currently, I share my home with several dogs and cats, and have grown up around animals since childhood. I’m kind, reliable, and truly love caring for animals, which is why I’m excited to offer my services as a pet sitter. You can trust that your pets will be treated with the same love and attention I give my own x Even though I currently have a part-time job, caring for animals is still a big part of my everyday life. I take full responsibility for my own pets at home, making sure they’re fed, clean, healthy, and happy. Pet Care fits perfectly into my routine as it allows me to continue doing what I love — working with animals — even while balancing another job. My goal is to eventually pursue a full-time career in animal care, and this is a great step toward making that dream a reality. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always treat the space with respect and aim to make the animals feel safe and secure. I follow any routines or instructions provided closely, as I know consistency is important for their well-being. I take time to build trust with each pet, using calm body language, gentle handling, and positive interaction. I make sure the environment stays clean and hazard-free, always keeping an eye out for anything that could affect their comfort or safety. My priority is to make sure both the pets and their owners feel confident and relaxed while I’m in their home.

“Amelia did a drop in visit for me while I had to go into the office. She did some fab training with Otis and even managed to get him down for a nap to avoid him being over tired. Absolutely ideal!”

“This was the first time Inga had looked after my dog, communications prior to arriving were faultless and Inga asked all the relevant questions. Inga arrived on time and was calm and patient with my nervous dog, Inga sat with my dog while I left for a two hour appointment. Inga was gentle and kind with my dog which suffers from separation anxiety, Inga kept me informed while I was away and I was confident that my dog was being well cared for. I would use Inga again for dog sitting and would recommend.”

Rachel W.
“I would just like to say what a professional attitude Rachel has towards the pets in her care. She has home-sat for our 2 DDB/Rotty crosses and they love her so much that they didn't want her to leave! She is a very caring and thoughtful person and we would certainly prefer to leave our dogs with her rather than any kennel or boarding home. We are looking forward to her staying at our house to sit with our dogs while we are away on holiday.”
