Our Greyhound had a wonderful week spending the day with Cat whilst we were out exploring. Normally he's a bit anxious on a holiday but he settled very quickly, was eating and excited to be dropped off in the mornings. Cat was quick to respond to messages and able to be flexible around drop off and pick up time. We would 100% book him in with Cat again, and have no hesitation recommending them.

Stellar and adaptable dog day care when our holiday plans somewhat changed and transport was limited. Yuen’s and her family’s support for our plans and loving care for our special dog at short-notice were above and beyond anything we could have hoped for. We definitely recommend Yuen to anyone needing dog day care, and will seek her services on our future visits to the area.

Evangelia had fantastic communication, replying very swiftly to agree to my short-notice request for doggy day care. She looked after our young cockapoo really well and clearly enjoyed having him. I would gladly ask her to help us out again and, judging by his wags, I'm sure Harvey would too! ?

We left Moses with Kim for the first time yesterday for the day. An excellent experience from our point of view. Kim clearly loves dogs. We had a meet and greet a few days earlier, and Moses was keen to come back as soon as he got to the front door, which is a good sign. He was very relaxed staying with Kim. Thanks Kim we'll be back! 😄

About: I have been around animals/pets all my life and regularly look after family and friends dogs.I live close to a big field for runs and walks, your pet will be well looked after with me, the last dog I looked after did not want to leave me! I also have experience with dogs with challenging behaviour or whether they don't like other dogs etc and need to kept on the lead or need walks in quieter places with no dogs around. I also have experience with senior dogs who were blind. Hope to hear from you soon. I work term time in a school which means I have all the holidays off. In that time your pet will have all my attention. Can do weekends also. I have a large back yard which is fenced aswell as the front. I live very close to a large field. I can cater to any needs of your pet, they can sleep in their bed/crate but I am more than happy to let them in my bed, sofa etc, your pet can make themselves at home with me, like a home away from home. I don't have any pets myself and have no young children my kids are teenagers.

About: We understand that you want to feel confident that your dog is happy and looked after when you go away, and that's what we aim to provide. We have a wealth of experience in caring for dogs, and have a Jack Russell of our own who is friendly and always happy to have a play mate. Dogs in our home are treated like family and can be sure to get lots of attention and cuddles, and you can rest easy that we will get to know your dog and listen to what you tell us about them- after all, you know your dog best! A work from home job means that your dog won't need to be left on their own, and they can expect long walks as long as they are up to it. We encourage you to keep in touch and will send regular pupdates if you would like them. Tasmin works from home most of the week and James works part time with early finish times, so we are available for dog care most days of the week. We are able to provide daytime, evening, night and weekend dog-sitting. Dogs visiting will be treated like they are our own. We can accommodate dogs with various routines and will listen to what you tell us. We know that knowing your dog and their likes/dislikes is important for keeping them happy.

About: Your dog will get 1-on-1 VIP treatment with me – no other dogs, just pure attention and cuddles! 🐾 I’ve looked after dogs since I was 6. I volunteer at The Dog and Cat Shelter and cared for my gorgeous border terrier Toby who lived until he was 17 years old. I work from home with flexible hours so I’m available at any time of the day. I’m free weekends, school holidays and bank holidays/Christmas time. Your dog/dogs will get 1-1 committed care with no other pets in my home or other dogs boarding with me. Although we live in a flat we have green areas right outside to take your dog out for the toilet. We also have beautiful walks nearby and I drive so can also take them to their favourite spot. With working from homeI’m in the flat 24/7 so your dog won’t be left at all and we have very little clutter for your dog won’t be able to chew on or eat anything! When caring for pets, we prioritise their safety by ensuring the environment is secure and pet-proofed. I will always offer to meet you and your dog/dogs in advance to get to know you both. I’ll follow your instructions closely, creating a routine that makes them feel comfortable and at ease. Building trust through regular communication with yourself and ensuring they feel loved and cared for is essential to me.

Morpeth, NE61

About: I have owned two dogs, one who now lives with my mam, and the other who I part share with my dad. I am dog obsessed with lots of love, cuddles and time to give. I view my house as porters house (my dog, a gorgeous miniature labrodoodle) and I just live in it. I work from home so I am always in. Due to this I've found myself pet sitting for friends and family for the last 2 years and I love it! I walk porter twice a day, one in the morning and one in the evening for an hour each time, and every weekend I try to take him on different walks to spice things up a bit. I am fortunate living in Morpeth as there are a lot of fantastic walks near by, from rolling coastlines to woodlands, all can be tailored to longer or shorter walks depending on your dog's needs. I have Porter Monday - Thursday, but often this might carry on over the weekend. He goes to his own day care on Thursdays (more so for the social aspect of it). He is very friendly, 4 years old and neutered. He is very used to sharing his home, and is not jealous or territorial. He shares his toys, bed, food very easily and loves a play, but is also happy snuggling up on the sofa. I would love to own more dogs, so I feel like dog sitting is a perfect in between! I love to take photos of all the fur babies, so I will provide daily updates on how yours is getting on. I live with my fiance James, who dare I say is more obsessed with dogs than me, however I will be the primary care taker of the dogs. We would love to open our door and welcome your four legged fur baby into our homes, where it will received a lot of love, attention, play time and walks. I work from home and very rarely have to travel or be out for work. At most I may be out the house for two hours at a time to attend a meeting, but this happens maybe once every 3 weeks, so I really am in a lot of the time. I have my own dog who I part share with my parents, so I already do a morning and evening walk during the week. Our home is full of love, cuddles, dog toys and treats for yours to enjoy. Dogs will have free rein of the house, we allow pets on every bit of furniture, upstairs and downstairs. Its their house I just live in it. I am available all week for dog sitting, check ins and walks if needed. I can provide boarding week day or weekends if available. I have a fenced garden where your dogs can enjoy our garden. Most of the time I have porter here, a miniature labrodoodle (although he is not that miniature). He is very friendly and very happy to share. He loves a chase and a play so your pups will be very entertained. However, if a dog is tried or just not interested he understands and is very happy to leave them alone. I have experience walking a reactive dog on a lead so comfortable doing this. I am happy to help with potty training and crate training.

About: I treat every pet as if they were my best friend. I treat every pet with patience, warmth and attention to their unique routines and personalities and needs. Pet care isnt just something i squeeze in. It's a central part of my day. I plan my schedule around pet visits and walks to make sure every animal gets my full attention as best as I can. 🏠 In-Home During the day sitting Responsibilities: Safe environment: Ensure your home is pet-proofed (e.g., no hazardous plants, chemicals, or escape routes). Routine maintenance: Feed, walk, play, and administer medications as directed. Comfort and enrichment: Provide companionship, toys, and activities to prevent boredom or anxiety. Cleanliness: Clean up waste promptly, wash bowls, and maintain a hygienic environment. Considerations: Compatibility with your pets (if any). Adequate space and a quiet area for the pet to rest. Emergency contact and vet info on hand. 🏡 Drop-In Visits (You go to the pet owner's home briefly) Responsibilities: Feeding and water refresh: Follow the feeding schedule precisely. Bathroom needs: Let dogs out or clean litter boxes/cages. Medication: Administer as instructed - Tablets given Basic play and affection: Give attention and stimulation. House tasks (optional): Bring in mail, water plants, or adjust lights/curtains to maintain the home’s routine. Considerations: Stick to the pet’s schedule as much as possible. Report any unusual behavior or issues to the owner promptly. All standard drop-in duties Companionship: Help reduce pet anxiety, especially for dogs prone to separation anxiety. Security: Provide presence in the home, reducing risk of break-ins. Maintain routine: Follow the pet’s regular daily routine closely. Considerations: Respect the owner’s home—clean up after yourself and the pet. Be clear on house rules (e.g., bed access, guest policies). Ensure you know how to operate security systems and access emergency contacts. 🐶🧼 Additional Services (Walks, play and drop ins and feeding ) These may be add-ons or stand-alone services: Walks: Ensure leash safety, avoid dog parks unless allowed, and adjust pace to the pet's needs Training reinforcement: Use commands and methods agreed upon with the owner.

Hayley is caring and considerate with the dogs, continually putting them at front of mind to ensure they have the best time. Hayley has continually looked after both our and my parents dogs and is always the first person we look to when a dog sitter is needed!
