“Our Greyhound had a wonderful week spending the day with Cat whilst we were out exploring. Normally he's a bit anxious on a holiday but he settled very quickly, was eating and excited to be dropped off in the mornings. Cat was quick to respond to messages and able to be flexible around drop off and pick up time. We would 100% book him in with Cat again, and have no hesitation recommending them.”

“I can’t thank these guys enough. They helped me at short notice, provided excellent communication, were super welcoming, and massively kind. Dexter loved being around them and they showed total care for him. Their house, with fenced back garden, is perfect. They are conveniently located near excellent transport links. I’d highly recommend them. I’d definitely use them again.”

“Stellar and adaptable dog day care when our holiday plans somewhat changed and transport was limited. Yuen’s and her family’s support for our plans and loving care for our special dog at short-notice were above and beyond anything we could have hoped for. We definitely recommend Yuen to anyone needing dog day care, and will seek her services on our future visits to the area.”

“Erin was fantastic in her care for Riley, he settled in nicely and felt right at home getting along well with Mabel. Erin kept in touch throughout the day letting me know how everything was going, I will be using Erin again in the future whenever possible and would recommend her to others. :)”

“Evangelia had fantastic communication, replying very swiftly to agree to my short-notice request for doggy day care. She looked after our young cockapoo really well and clearly enjoyed having him. I would gladly ask her to help us out again and, judging by his wags, I'm sure Harvey would too! ?”

About: Hi! I’m Amy, and I’ve been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with both dogs and cats and have always felt happiest when I’m around them. Whether it’s cuddles on the sofa, fun playtime, or peaceful walks, I truly enjoy giving pets the attention, care, and love they deserve. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, so I always take the time to get to know them, making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I treat every pet like they’re part of the family — because that’s exactly how I’d want my own to be treated. You can count on me to provide: • Regular updates and photos 📸 • Reliable, loving care • A calm, friendly, and patient presence • Cleanliness, safety, and respect for your home Whether you’re going away or just need someone to pop in during the day, I’d love to help care for your furry friend! I work from home, which means I have the flexibility to give your pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I can take dogs out for regular walks, give them company between naps, or check in on cats for feeding, playtime, and cuddles. Your pet will never be left feeling lonely! I make sure my space is pet-safe, clean, and secure. Doors and gates are always kept closed, and I don’t leave anything lying around that could be harmful (like small objects, food, or cleaning products). I supervise pets closely, especially when they’re settling in, and I never leave them alone for long. If I’m caring for dogs, I only accept bookings that are a good fit for their safety and comfort — and I never mix unfamiliar pets. Walks are always done on-lead in safe areas.

About: I am a young professional living in a house with an enclosed garden close to many parks and gardens. I have taken care of pets for 7 years. Family, friends and owners have relied on me to walk, feed play and care for their pets. I've always cared for dogs from a young age growing up with family pets. I have looked after many pets over the years and care for them as my own. I work from home full time so your dogs would never be alone they would have personalised attention, daily exercise and lots of love. I have a pet and child free home with plenty of space for play and care. I currently work a four day week full time from home Mon-Thu so I have plenty time with your fury friends. I am off work Fri-Sun so have plenty time to be outdoors on adventures with your pets. I will create a safe and comfortable environment, provide regular exercise and playtime. I have a fenced garden so your pets will be safe and they would also get a lot of love and attention.

About: Me and my husband currently have two female dogs - a Labragotto and a Dalmatian They both love to play with other dogs and are very friendly with everyone. When I leave my pets in the hands of someone else, I expect them to receive a home-from-home experience. I therefore will do the same for any pets that I care for! I will also tailor the needs for each pet according to their owners wishes. For example, I allow my pets on the furniture but if you would prefer for your pet to not be on the furniture we can amend our lifestyle to suit that! I have always been around animals growing up, I looked after my two family dogs, horses, a cat, rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters! My husband is also well versed with animals, having grown up with a dog and a cat! 🐈⬛ I am a student midwife and so I am not working right now which means I have all the time to spend with four-legged friends 🐾 My husband works from home, so we are both on hand for separate walk routines if needed. Our dogs require a lot of exercise, we aim to walk at least 3 times a day but we can make adjustments accordingly for dogs with various fitness requirements! I have an unfenced garden but can but can put up temporary fencing. For toilet breaks I tend to put my dogs on leads to take them out anyways which helps their lead training. The house is fully safety proofed with no hazards. There is always someone home so your pet will never be left on their own.

About: I have owned two dogs, one who now lives with my mam, and the other who I part share with my dad. I am dog obsessed with lots of love, cuddles and time to give. I view my house as porters house (my dog, a gorgeous miniature labrodoodle) and I just live in it. I work from home so I am always in. Due to this I've found myself pet sitting for friends and family for the last 2 years and I love it! I walk porter twice a day, one in the morning and one in the evening for an hour each time, and every weekend I try to take him on different walks to spice things up a bit. I am fortunate living in Morpeth as there are a lot of fantastic walks near by, from rolling coastlines to woodlands, all can be tailored to longer or shorter walks depending on your dog's needs. I have Porter Monday - Thursday, but often this might carry on over the weekend. He goes to his own day care on Thursdays (more so for the social aspect of it). He is very friendly, 4 years old and neutered. He is very used to sharing his home, and is not jealous or territorial. He shares his toys, bed, food very easily and loves a play, but is also happy snuggling up on the sofa. I would love to own more dogs, so I feel like dog sitting is a perfect in between! I love to take photos of all the fur babies, so I will provide daily updates on how yours is getting on. I live with my fiance James, who dare I say is more obsessed with dogs than me, however I will be the primary care taker of the dogs. We would love to open our door and welcome your four legged fur baby into our homes, where it will received a lot of love, attention, play time and walks. I work from home and very rarely have to travel or be out for work. At most I may be out the house for two hours at a time to attend a meeting, but this happens maybe once every 3 weeks, so I really am in a lot of the time. I have my own dog who I part share with my parents, so I already do a morning and evening walk during the week. Our home is full of love, cuddles, dog toys and treats for yours to enjoy. Dogs will have free rein of the house, we allow pets on every bit of furniture, upstairs and downstairs. Its their house I just live in it. I am available all week for dog sitting, check ins and walks if needed. I can provide boarding week day or weekends if available. I have a fenced garden where your dogs can enjoy our garden. Most of the time I have porter here, a miniature labrodoodle (although he is not that miniature). He is very friendly and very happy to share. He loves a chase and a play so your pups will be very entertained. However, if a dog is tried or just not interested he understands and is very happy to leave them alone. I have experience walking a reactive dog on a lead so comfortable doing this. I am happy to help with potty training and crate training.

Hayley L.
“Hayley stepped into the breach for a few days to look after our precious Lola (7yr old Beagle) as she was unable to attend her usual daycare due to stitches from a recent operation. Hayley created an excellent bond with our girl from the off and provided us with photos with comments of how Lola was doing throughout each day she was in her care. Hayley went above and beyond to make Lola’s recuperation as interesting as possible with stimulation through a considered mix of exercise and games. I would highly recommend Hayley for anyone looking for someone to genuinely care for their pooch. Thank you Hayley!”
