About: We have both had cats and dogs our whole lives and since moving out of our family homes, we've noticed a distinct gap left by our furry companions. Due to work commitments we are not in a position to have our own full time pet, but look forward to the opportunity to look after yours for you! Between us we have had our fair share of experiences with hard to handle hounds, including tough walks, entertaining and administering medication. So feel relaxed knowing they are in safe hands! Currently I manage my own business from home so can be made available at any time for pick up, drop offs or walks! More than happy to sit throughout the week or on weekends. We live in a spacious ground floor flat in Jesmond with a back garden and Jesmond dene 5/10 mins walk away. I am on a flexible schedule ableing me to walk, sit or check in on pets when needed.

“Christina has been the perfect solution to our mini dog crisis. We have two older labradors with a couple of health needs and Christina was more than warm and accommodating to help reduce our anxieties. We started the journey using Rover and found Christina easily. She goes above and beyond in her role even popped round to meet our fur babies. When we've been away she's kept us updated with lovely photos and heart felt stories of the dogs experiences which wasn't necessary but absolutely lovely to receive. We would NOT hesitate in contacting Christina again and are likely to actually book again for a longer period when away again later this year. We would highly recommend Christina to anyone not only is she personable, good with the dogs she also charges really good rates for such a lovely service.”

“Ana Luisa has been lovely as always! I'm never worried when I go away because I know Rexie is in good hands! Rexie always runs to Ana Luisa when she sees her and they have a very sweet relationship. Couldn't recommend enough!!”

“A huge thank you to Honey for taking such great care of Dolly! It was lovely getting her regular updates, and the whole process of arranging her visits was so straightforward. I can't recommend Honey enough – she's fantastic!.”

About: I retired in February 2025 after working in the NHS and private healthcare sector for over 35 years as a speech and language therapist) / service manager. My career enabled me to work around the world in a wide range of settings and with some amazing people. I am now wanting to start a new chapter in my life which will allow for flexibility of working and will tap into my passion for animals and nature. My years as a therapist and manager means that I have many transferable skills, knowledge and qualities which I believe fit well into the role as a pet sitter and boarder. My love for animals started when I was a child when we had guinea pigs, tortoises and fish. Over the years, I have looked after family dogs and cats and used to walk an elderly lady’s dog when I was a volunteer for the Cinnamon Trust. Last year, I looked after a wonderful 12-year-old Border Terrier for 2 months at my house while his owners were abroad. This was an amazing experience and confirmed to me of my love of animals and my desire to pursue a career in pet sitting. I am a car driver / owner and have an up-to-date DBS. I am trained in basic life support, moving and handling, infection control and food safety and handling. I have recently completed a diploma in ‘Pet Sitting and Dog Walking’ provided by Reed Courses and ‘Dog first aid and CPR’ course with distinction provided by UKRLP. Licensed with North Tyneside Council (The Animal Welfare Regulations 2018): Licence Number 25/0987/ANIMAL Since retiring in February 2025, I am now free to concentrate on establishing myself as a professional pet sitter / dog walker and have the flexibility to be able to do this. I live in a 3 bedroomed house which has an enclosed and secure backyard. The downstairs floors are wooden. I am aware of the importance of ensuring a safe and secure environment for a pet which provides the correct levels of physical and mental stimulation for the individual. Liaising with the owner about their pet's care needs, routines and behaviours are key to ensuring a happy and safe pet.

Jill M.
“Jill looks after our dog nearly everyday! He is always the happiest to go with her, and seems to always have the most fun time. He goes on lovely walks, eats like a king! And gets nothing but fusses, play and love. Jill also sometimes looks after our guinea pigs who find comfort in her company. She always knows what foods they can/ can’t eat. I couldn’t think of anyone I would trust more than Jill to care for my animals. I know they’re always happy, loved and cared for when with her. Thank you Jill xx”

Abbey A.
“Abbey is a really down to earth, friendly person who adores dogs. She has had dogs in her life for the 20 years that I have known her and has such a natural affinity with them. She worked in a veterinary surgery for several years so also has a great understanding of different species and behaviours. Abbey has a playful nature and enjoys being active with animals. She is also very professional and respectful and cares for people, pets and belongings with great care. Abbey would be a real joy to have involved in the care of your pets.”

Bryony C.
“I cannot recommend Bryony highly enough! From the very first meeting, it was clear that she has a genuine love for animals and a deep understanding of their needs. She cared for Ted as if he was her own, providing not just the essentials, but also the affection, playtime, and attention that truly set her apart. Ted absolutely adores Bryony!”

Becky H.
“We started using Becky to walk our two dogs as we felt that it was better than a group walk with other dogs. Living where we do, it's an added bonus that she picks them up from ours and walks them from the house, rather than sat in a van. We get pics every time and it always looks like the dogs are having a great time.”
