About: Hey there! I'm Ryan. I have grown up around dogs most of my life (though I love any other little fluff balls). Nothing brings me more joy than giving pets the best quality of life possible! My previous dog, my gorgeous Beagle, Ivy, was my life, I became very familiar with administering regular (oral and rectal) medication as she suffered from seizures and a brain tumour. I, unfortunately, lost her in Oct 2024, however, in her memory, I am continuing to share my love for pets by supporting you with yours. I do not have another pet of my own at the moment, which gives me additional flexibility, but I miss the company of a pet, which motivates me to want to help support yours! I work full-time as a Project Coordinator, primarily WFH (meaning I can bring my work with me when sitting), although I am required on-site at times. I will always be honest and upfront about my availability. This means I am dedicating my free time to your pets, for no other reason than I LOVE it, and love to be able to provide the reassurance and comfort you need for leaving your pet(s) in my care. If you have any questions then just ask! I am a hybrid worker, meaning I mostly work from home and only have to go into the office around two days a week (typically Wednesdays and Thursdays). Meaning, that on every other work day, I can bring my laptop along and work from your home, giving your pet(s) plenty of interaction and playtime. I also manage my own time so I have the flexibility to meet your pet's usual walk schedules, feeding time and administering of medication (if needed). If your pup is comfortable at home during standard working days and doesn't need assistance during the day, then on the days I am in the office, I am comfortable staying at your home the night before and returning to yours after work. When staying in your home, I will bring my own food and toiletries, I can also bring my own bedding if required, and even a single or double blow-up bed. I will only require water and electricity and will return the home to you as you left it for me. Your pet is of course my top priority, so please make me aware of their routines, preferences and training techniques/keywords and I will ensure these are kept to. I know how it feels to leave your pet(s) when you are away, constantly thinking about how they are and what they are getting up to! So, rest assured, I will take plenty of photos and keep you updated as much as you would like. I understand it is a big decision to invite someone into your home and look after your pet(s) and belongings! Therefore, I always recommend a meet-and-greet (at no extra charge), and am available to message or call with any questions to help build a rapport.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and absolutely adore them! Animals tend to like me and i’ve always enjoyed looking after them! Wether it’s a young puppy or a dog that needs a little more rest i’m there for them all and happy to provide whatever service is needed to make sure your companion is looked after! I’m currently a uni student studying biomedical science in london! i’m back for the holidays so have plenty of time to make sure your pets are looked after! I’m happy to adapt to whatever environment! I’m into fitness so happy to do long walks but i’m also happy to sit with them if they just need someone to be with as well!

About: We have a family pet called Nellie who is a 5 year old cockatoo. I also have a 6 year old socially anxious rescue cat and newly taken on a small kitten. I have experience with most house pets and always love to give fuss and play. I currently work as a teacher so have weekend availability as well as all school holidays. I’m happy to do any evenings and stay in homes when needed. My own pets consist of cats who both have different relationships with me. They respond to their names and understand clear boundaries. They both have options to play and remain separated and feel safe to walk away without being followed. They’re both very chirpy and affectionate and love a good cuddle

About: I have owned and trained dogs since I was 10 years old. When my dear cocker spaniel Sweep passed away in 2018 I couldn't face replacing him and decided to fill the gap left in my life by borrowing dogs from friends and neighbours. I have had 3 extended families of dogs as long-term fur buddies (four Pugs, five English Cockers, a Cockerpoo, and a Labrador); I have walked and provide holiday sitting for these doggies. In 2021 I adopted a retired English Cocker from stud (Paulo) and he was the most laidback chap; he went with me everywhere and was an extra companion for my doggie friends. Sadly Paulo passed away in February 2025 so I have more time for dog sitting and walking. I retired 18 months ago and decided to care for dogs to keep me fit and happy so my time is my own. I prefer to walk my doggies at lunchtime and only walk one dog (or a family group of dogs) a day for a minimum of 1 hour; I never rush my dogs and I don't clock-watch. I always have a good supply of dry clean towels to towel-off wet and muddy dogs. I also really enjoy dog sitting dogs but I believe they need time to get to know and trust me. So If you'd like me to be your dog sitter then your furry friend will need to come for walkies with me before-hand; this is kinder for the dog and it's what I would want for my dog. I only do walkies on the lead. I walk up to 4 dogs but only from the same home pack so that there are no fights. If you would like me to sit your dog/s I will always follow your dog's routine and I'm happy to sleep with dogs that need human company. I have a dog and a cat at home although the cat stays away from dog visitors. I have a fully fenced secure back garden, and a heated garden room which is my den and home to my dog visitors. I only have dog visitors that know me and Paulo well so long-term walkers and sitters only please.

“Orissa looked after my two Maine Coons while I was on holiday for a few days. This was my first time using rover so I wasn’t really sure what to expect and to be honest I was quite anxious. But after my meet and greet with Orissa, that all changed as she was so lovely to me and the boys and knew exactly what to do right away. While I was away Orissa would regularly send photos and write detailed reports of her visit which were so heartwarming. It reassured me and my partner that the boys were in the best hands. She took care of the boys so well, looking after their food, litter and also our house. When I came back the house was clean and tidy just how we left it. The boys seemed happy too as they had great company and someone to play with. Sometimes they can get lonely on their own so it’s nice to know there’s someone there for them. Overall, Orissa was amazing and would recommend to anyone who needs someone to take care of their furry babies while they’re away.”

About: I’ve had a passion for animals since I was a little girl. Since graduating with an Hons degree in animal behaviour and welfare in 2021, I have been continuing to develop and share my skills within the animal industry, specifically for training and behaviour in Canines. My aim is to further use my skills and love for animals to care for beloved companions, for owners in need. Whether that be for the day; or longer-term care in their home while owners are away. I have a wide range of experience in handling, training and caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds and differing needs (medical or behavioural). Welcoming all owners and their companions to use my services. I previously worked 3+ years in a Uk canine rescue in there training and behaviour team. I am now going back to uni to further develop my skills through a master's degree in Clinical animal behaviour. My service availability extends across the week for pet sitting, with an understanding that companions being cared for, would need to be able to be left for a period of time during the days I'm at uni (Mon-Tue). Care provided would be based from the pets home. Keeping their home comforts around them while their owners are away. Day to day their routine would be based around their usual daily activities. I would be sure to include some enriching walks and activities to allow them to feel like they are having a holiday of their own.

About: I had a dog and cats as a child and looked after lots of friends and families pets ever since. From taking them to walks to having them stay over for a week or 2. When looking after dogs previously, it makes me so happy to see them get excited to see me again! I have 2 sons, 15 and 7, who also live with me. They have been taught how to be safe around animals ever since they were little and are very caring and attentive around them. They both love cats and dogs and are keen to get one full time. They have also enjoyed dog walks with me aswell as spending with family and friends pets. I think this would be a good way to give them some extra experience in caring for animals. I currently work part-time so have plenty of time to play and care for your lovely pets! I work 9-5 on a Wednesday, 8-4 on a Thursday and 9-3 on Fridays. All other days I'm generally free apart from popping out to do the usual chores or to go to the gym. I would be happy to look after your pet whilst I'm at work if they are OK and happy to be left for that amount of time. I will make enrichment toys to keep them occupied whilst im out of the house. Apart from a Wednesday, Thursday and friday I am available to also do drop ins and dog walks. I have a high fenced garden for your pups to enjoy. I also have a large field at the top of my street that is great for a dog walk. I do drive so if your dog is happy travelling, I would take them out on longer walks if needed. Your pets will be free to roam all areas of the house and I am happy for them to sit on the sofa with us for cuddles or sleep in my bed if that's what they are used to. It will be my main priority to make them feel safe and happy whilst they are with me. Please feel free to discuss any care your dog may need and I will do all I can to accommodate. If you require me to look after your pet in your home, I am only available on a friday evening as I have my children with me all other nights of the week.

About: Had my own cat since I was 6 (currently 20), so looking after an animal has become 2nd nature to me. Been looking after my partners mums dog every once in a while for around a year now. Currently working part time, with a gap between my bachelors degree and my masters degree. I’m looking to pick up a little bit of extra cash on the side (and to go on some walks/look after some dogs as I can’t have pets at my accommodation) I keep a close eye on the pets, and if they are outside, I go outside with them to keep them company. About: Hello, my name’s Bik! 👋 I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I always had cats growing up and I would regularly look after dogs for my neighbours and family friends. I took time off work at the start of 2023 and started pet sitting on Rover. In that time, I’ve gained a good deal of experience looking after lots of cats and dogs of varying ages, sizes, and temperaments. From Chihuahuas and Terriers to Labradors and German Shepherds, and many more in between! This has included older pets, puppies and kittens, rescues, and those with anxiety. I completely understand that leaving your beloved pet with a stranger is a daunting prospect, but I promise that I will do my very best to take great care of your pet, and your home. I will follow your routines as closely as possible so your pet can have that familiarity whilst having the comfort of being in their own home. I will send you lots of photos and updates to reassure you that your pet is safe and happy with me whilst you're away. I work as a Website Officer, and I am lucky that this role is mainly working remotely so I am flexible in being able to spend my time looking after your pet in your home whilst I work. I am very accommodating with the days I can look after your pet. I am happy to stay in your home with your pet, whether you’re away for a night, a week, or a fortnight. Keeping your pet safe is my priority; this includes whilst they are in their home, and out for walks. I would never let your dog off the lead (unless previously discussed with you). Walk times can be changed according to the needs of your dog, and the weather. For example, there have been summer days where the temperature has exceeded 25 degrees. In these times it’s not safe to walk dogs during the day. I would either wake up earlier and take your dog out at 7am or wait until 9pm when the weather is cooler and it’s a more comfortable, and safe, walk for your dog. At the opposite end of the weather spectrum, when it reaches 0 degrees or below, I would consider whether or not it would be too cold to walk your dog. This decision would generally be based around the size of your dog, their age and those breeds with thin coats. If I did go ahead with the walk then I would take necessary precautions, keep the walk short and during daylight hours. I am happy to administer medication for your dog including tablets, liquids, and medications in food. As well as ear drops and cleaning etc. I have my own car and can drive your pet to the vets in an emergency.

About: I’ve been brought up around pets my whole life - some good & sociable, and some timid and tetchy, so I am good at clocking when an animal needs its space, and when it needs some TLC! I’ve grown up with Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Fish, Cats and Dogs. I tend to prefer animals to humans to be honest, so this is a perfect role for me! I work from home to ensure I can care for my dogs Mabel & Barry. We originally had two female dogs, but our eldest, Blue, recently passed away, so Mabel has needed a lot more company, which I’ve adjusted my work-life balance to fit around. She’s an old gal, so a challenge to get out the door. We then adopted Barry, our mental Boston, who can’t go without 2 walks a day, so we try and get her out with him. I’d love to walk/hang with some more fluffs! Ensure they’re obviously stocked up on water and any treats they might want/need. Ensure I’m either sat with them the whole time, or if they’re a fidget bum, that I’ve at least got my eye on them. I’m very cuddly, and so will offer infinite snuggles for your pet, but also love a pet that, like me, treasures personal space haha!

About: I have been a military dog handler for the RAF for the past 7 years. And have experience dealing with dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments. Pet sitting fits well into my schedule and I am able to accomodate last minute bookings when required. I can easily fit bookings into obscure times such as late evenings and weekends. I love to ensure that pets are happy and taken care of and feel safe in their own environment. I have a dog of my own who is quite difficult so I know the reassurance it gives me to have him looked after in his own house when I am away. And I want to make other pet owners feel the same so they can go on holidays or to work and not worry that their pet is unhappy or stressed. For clarity, my house sitting appointments cover short toilet walks. A longer walk will incur the normal charge on top. During house/dog sitting I will be at your house with your dog or cat for 90% of the time, with me occasionally popping out for refreshments and to run short errands or to check on my son.

About: I've looked after a wide variety of dog breeds and temperaments throughout my life. This included my own personal pets but also neighbours, friends and family. I'm highly reliable and pride myself on my duty of care. I am retired and I am able to provide care during the weekdays with a range of flexibility to provide care during the weekends too. I have a fully fenced garden as well as a completely secure property. Ample space within the property and the garden for pets to enjoy.
