About: I’ve cared for animals for many years and have experience with both dogs and cats, including puppies, senior dogs and large breeds like Golden Retrievers. I currently care for my own senior dog, young puppy and cats, so I understand the different needs pets can have at every stage of life. I’m a calm, gentle and patient person who truly loves animals. I have experience with feeding routines, basic care, slow walks for older dogs, and energetic walks for younger dogs. Animals have always been a huge part of my life and I treat every pet with love, kindness and respect, just like family. Animals are such a big part of my life that I even run my own pet blog dedicated to dogs and animal care. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’m available for walks and drop-in visits during mornings and afternoons, and I always make sure pets receive gentle care, attention and patience 🤍🐾 I always make sure pets feel safe, calm and comfortable in my care. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding routines, walking preferences and any special needs. I’m gentle, patient and attentive, and I treat every pet with kindness and respect, just like family 🤍🐾

It is our first experience with' Rover' and we were lucky to start with Ryan. He did a meet & greet prior to our first booking, which was reassuring and meant we felt we were leaving our house and cats in safe hands. We returned to find everything clean & tidy, plus two apprently contented cats. It was clear from the feedback photos that Ryan had been punctual, ensured the cats were fed, watered and cleaned and then spent some time sitting with them, which is lovely. Perfect for our needs so hoping we can book Ryan again!

About: As a dedicated pet lover, with a lifetime of experience, living alongside dogs and cats, I bring a deep understanding of the needs and behaviours to your pet. In the future, I am hoping to undertake a veterinary nursing diploma. I have had 3 dogs and currently have 2 cats. One cat I’ve cared for had diabetes for the last 5 years of his life so I have experience with administering insulin in cats. I am currently working part-time so i am very flexible to suit your needs. Available weekdays and weekends. Just pop me a message to inquire! I have decent sized completely fenced off garden. I only walk dogs off the lead if they have complete recall if not I can take to an enclosed field.

About: I grew up with lots of animals like a tiny farm and since going to university, I have missed it :( I always go to my family house where there is 5 cats, 2 goldens and 10 chickens and 1 rabbit. May sound like a lot but there is never a moment of boredom. I work in Boston, 8:30-17:00 Monday to Friday. Please take that into consideration when booking me as it doesn’t not let me edit my work schedule into the app. Anytime after 17:30, if you want your dog walking I would be happy too. I really enjoy going on walks with dogs. I have a fenced garden and love going on walks. Dogs and cats are allowed on furniture so they have many places to venture and relax :)

About: I've had dogs all my life which have all been an integral part of my family. I've had fur babies of different breeds including Labradors, Scottish terriers, Beagles, Chihuahuas and currently have a puppy who is a Pitt bull mix called Maeva who is my absolute world ! I honestly believe a dog is the most beautiful creature on the planet. I love their individual personalities and their strength to love unconditionally. They bring so much joy and I just love being around them. I have raised all of my dogs from puppies to end of life and trained them all to a high obedience standard whilst still letting them rule the roost and be spoilt rotten. I'm a loyal, trust worthy person who will treat your home and beloved fur baby as if they were my own. I'm a hairdresser by trade but currently having to live with my parents due to personal circumstances so I could generally always be free to house/dog sit most days of the week and at short notice. I really look forward to meeting you all!. X I'm currently not working as I relocated to be with my partner recently so I’m flexible with my schedule until I find a part time or full time position. I am happy to adhere to any rules/instructions you have for your pet and your home and will treat both with respect and do things the way you see best.

About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life and have had five of my own over the years. This has given me natural confidence in handling different personalities – from playful puppies to older, calm dogs. What sets me apart is my calm energy and patience. I don’t rush pets – I observe their behavior and adapt to their needs. I’m especially attentive to emotional signals and make sure each pet feels seen and safe. I also understand the needs of senior dogs and can offer slow, gentle walks, comfortable resting spaces, and a peaceful rhythm. My presence is warm, quiet, and grounded – perfect for animals who need a little extra care and reassurance. Hi! I’m a calm, kind-hearted animal lover with a lifelong connection to dogs. Since childhood, I’ve cared for pets and have had five dogs of my own over the years. I currently have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and understand how much love and attention our furry friends need. I’ve recently come to stay with my mom in Spalding and I’m available for the month in June to help care for your pet. I offer dog walking, home visits, and pet boarding at my place. I’m responsible, gentle, and always aim to create a peaceful and loving atmosphere. Looking forward to meeting your pet and giving them the care they deserve! 🐾 I always aim to create a calm, loving, and clean environment for pets. Whether I’m caring for them in my own home or visiting them in theirs, I treat every animal with kindness, patience, and respect. I follow any instructions given by the pet owner carefully – including feeding routines, walk preferences, and safety measures. I make sure pets are never left unattended during walks, and I pay close attention to their emotional state and comfort. I also ensure that any interactions (especially if I care for pets at home) are safe around my young child – I supervise everything and only accept friendly, calm pets that are used to children.

There are 189 sitters on Rover for Cat Sitting in Boston. About 88% of Boston sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter trays. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialisation or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
