“Millie was very friendly and asked questions on a meeting we arranged a few days before the walks were due to start to make sure that my dogs were given the best time in her care. They both enjoyed the time that she spent with them. Millie also kept me updated with what time she picked them up, dropped them home and what toileting they did on their walks.”

About: Hi, I’m Anna, and I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. Caring for pets isn’t just a job for me, it’s something that genuinely brings me joy. My experience: - 20 years of hands-on pet care for dogs and cats, including rescues, scaredy cats and big dogs! Also have experience administering medications & treatments, and am happy to do this. - I have previously provided overnight stays, drop-in visits, dog walking, feeding etc. - I’m familiar with feeding routines, special diets, enrichment activities and so on. I also have experience of taking care of dogs who resource guard. I work from home so I’m available for regular check-ins, extended visits, and last-minute bookings. I send daily updates and photos for your peace of mind. My calm, patient approach helps nervous pets feel safe and secure. Because I work from home, pet care is naturally woven into my daily and weekly routine. My flexible schedule means I can easily adapt to your pet’s needs; whether that’s early morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening cuddle sessions. Whether your pet stays with me or I care for them in your home, my priority is always their comfort, safety, and happiness. 🐕 In My Home: Pets can relax in a peaceful home with comfy spots to nap and play. Walks, feeding, playtime, and rest all follow your pet’s regular schedule as closely as possible. Since I work from home, your pet gets constant companionship and care throughout the day. 🏠 In Your Home: For pets who feel more comfortable in their own space, I offer reliable in-home care. I am respectful and trustworthy, and will treat your home as if it was my own.

About: We always had cats in my family when I was growing up, and I had my own adorable Lulu for 13 years. Over the past 10 years I've been trusted to take care of my brother's cocker spaniel Buster and by best friends four dogs!! I'm calm and caring and have a good knowledge of etiquette whilst out walking. I am self employed, work from home during the week with a lot of flexibility, work most Saturdays around the country but with quieter periods of the year. My flat is very secure and a very safe building. It's not massive but it's super cosy, I fostered cats for a couple of years and they all loved being here.

“This was my first time using Rover. I needed to find someone to walk my 6 month old puppy. From the beginning Alejandra filled me with confidence that she would be trustworthy and take very good care of our dog. I would definitely recommend and request to book Alejandra again. Thank you!”

About: I’m a pet sister from Hong Kong, now living in the UK for the third year. I moved here with my four cats, who are now 6 to 7 years old. After settling down, I adopted a 1.5-year-old Border Collie. I truly love all my pets—they’re my family. Pet care is a big part of my daily life—it’s not just a job, it’s something I truly enjoy. Every day, I plan my schedule around the needs of the pets I care for, whether it’s morning and evening drop-in visits, regular walks, or spending quality time with my own pets at home. I make sure to stay organized so that each pet receives the attention, exercise, and care they need. Being around animals brings me joy and keeps me active, so I always look forward to every visit or walk. When providing drop-in visits or dog walking services, I always make sure pets feel safe, loved, and respected in their own environment. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions, whether it’s feeding, cleaning, giving medication, or following a specific walking route or routine. I take time to build trust with each pet, using calm energy and gentle care so they feel comfortable around me. During walks, I stay alert and prioritize their safety at all times—avoiding busy roads, checking their body language, and ensuring they’re always on-leash unless instructed otherwise. I treat every pet like family, and always keep owners updated with messages and photos so they know their furry friend is in good hands.

About: Hi Everyone, I know how important it is to have your furry family members looked after when you’re away from home. It can be a very anxious time. I decided to offer a dog sitting service so I could help other owners like me have a trusted and experienced animal lover look after their dogs with the love and care they deserve. Speaking from experience, when you're away from home, you want to know your fur babies are being loved and treated as if you were there! My mum, Jackie has joined me on this venture and so no matter what, we will always be available to help! We both work remotely in Finance and luckily have extremely flexible hours to suit your needs. We have 4 cats of our own (Luther, Wilbur, Phoebe and Doris). We rarely ever call them by their names as we’re always talking silly with them! Luther is a diabetic so we’re experienced with administering medication and injections. We also have 2 dogs that are rescues from Romania! I’ve previously volunteered at Blue Cross helping the various cats and kittens - such a memorable experience! We’re happy to cover Baldock and many surrounding areas so do get in touch. Your furry guys will be treated as if they were our own and I can tell you now ... they live better than we do!! :) During our visits, we would spend as much time as needed making sure your doggos were happy. We'd have a long play and a cuddle but along with that would go feeding, water bowl changing, giving treats (if allowed of course!) and pictures and video updates while you’re away. We will happily provide the best service that will keep your mind at ease about your fur baby. We will also send multiple updates per day as well as adorable pictures of your adorable pup!

About: I have grown up with pets my whole life, from hamsters to cats, and more recently I grew up with two lovely black labradors - Charley and Flo. Flo is still bouncing around at the age of 12 and does come for a sleepover now and then, but I do miss having dogs around so am keen to share my love for animals with others. Whether its a walk around the block or staying over I would love to help out. I fit my schedule around what is best for your dog as I know many have their preferred routine. Whether that’s walking at certain times or eating at 3pm on the dot! Your dog will feel like it is at home. With toilet breaks around the clock and being played with to keep them entertained along with lovely long walks in the local green spaces, I will do my utmost best to make sure they are happy.

I'm open to getting to know different breads but already have experience with golden retrievers, cockapoos, patterdales and a few types of terriers that were my family friends and extended family members dogs. I’m available most days in the holidays for dog walking, house visits and house sitting at your own home so we could do a meet and greet. I have a cockapoo at my family home who’s 9 years old and I used to have a working golden retriever until I was 18 so I’ve grown up with dogs all my life.

“Growing up with our two dogs, Whisky—a wise and gentle 13-year-old golden retriever—and Teddy, our energetic 9-year-old cockapoo, my sister showed incredible care, patience, and love. She had a special bond with Whisky, especially in his later years, and have always been the one who could keep up with Teddy’s endless energy. Her natural connection with animals and her natural caring nature has always stood out.”
