About: I have grown up with small dogs since I was born until I was 21 as that’s when I moved out my family home to move to Thornbury. My sister owns a white Frenchie called Boris who I walk on a regular when visiting as my sister is a uni student. He is an energetic stinky boy who loves the attention and be as close to you as possible at all times. Many of my friends have dogs so when visiting their home they always give me the best greetings. When my friends are on holiday I would regularly pop into their home either in the day or the evening to check on their dogs, keep them company and to play. I am a first time mum to a little boy who was born in December 2024 so I am currently on maternity leave until August 2025. To make some extra money whilst on maternity I thought this would be a great opportunity to get some exercise, money and also get my little boy use to being round dogs until we’re ready to welcome a pup into the family. My son wouldn’t always be with me, I will mainly be on my own when doing drop ins or dog walking. However I will always ask for your consent if have to be present as I aware not all dogs are fans of babies. When visiting your home for a walk/ drop in I will greet your dog(s) with lots of love and happiness to make them feel comfortable. We will have a little bit of a play or a cuddle and work around what they want to do :)

About: I’ve handled more furry, feathery, and neigh-saying friends than we can count. Growing up, my life was pretty chaotic with a Springer Spaniel who could run laps around a field and a Dachshund who believed she was Queen of the sofa. From big, boisterous pups to tiny divas, I have looked after all breeds and sizes. My grandparents' farm added a few bonus skills to my resume: I’ve wrangled chickens, had a love for horses, and even assisted with breeding a multitude of pups — imagine a real-life Folly Farm in my house! My day starts around 5/6am and I walk into the evening hours 7/8pm. I have a car and am fully mobile with lots of space in the back for my furry friends! In my home I have a big garden with lots of space for bigger or smaller dogs - with lots of areas to sniff! If more space is needed I live walking distance away from a large field. My own little fur baby, Daphne the Dachshund, has steps to get around the house and onto higher ground (the sofa). In your home I am happy to follow the routine your dog is used to as this is the most important thing - to keep them comfortable! I am happy to walk around your area in places your dog is used to and happy to bring along other furry friends on walks if your dog is more sociable! if not, and your dog prefers more 1-on-1 time, solo walks are great fun too!

About: There has never been a time in my life I haven't had a dog as a best friend. I have had many experiences with many different types and characters of dogs. I’ve helped with gun dog training, looking after litters of puppies and elderly dogs. In addition, I have experience in grooming dogs as I have been grooming my own dogs and friends dogs for the last few years. I respect and care for each dog to the highest level possible acting as though they are my own. I’ve just finished my a levels, so I have lots of spare time to look after your pets. Although I work part time I don’t have many hours per week allowing more time to walk or dog sit your dog. I would treat your beloved pet the same way I’d treat my own pets, with respect and attention. I have secure safety harnesses if I need to take them in my car, and I have any equipment necessary for providing your dog with the best level of care.

About: I've looked after all kinds of dogs through sites like this for 3-4 years and grew up around animals. I also have a Dog Walkers & Sitters Association Certificate through the British College of Canine Studies which taught me dog first aid and behaviours. I also love cats and any animal, so I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your lovely companions. I'm currently at home throughout the day so am available whenever needed. About: I grew up in a household in which there were always animals around: cats, dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish and even stick insects! I am now living with my family and we currently have 3 gorgeous dogs: Molly, Dotty and Maia. I feed them, take them for their walks, play with them, bathe them, trim their claws, and give them any medicines they need. I love animals so much, and joined this app to meet all the pups and cats! I am currently unemployed so have lots of availability! I was previously working in environmental education in Dublin, but moved back to Wales last year and taking a break before seeking my next employment. From september onwards I’ll be doing horticulture training one day a week, day to be confirmed. Being a pet owner and also my experience working in the education and childcare sector, I treat health and safety with the upmost importance. I am very observant and will keep a constant eye on your pet, tuning into their behavioural cues. I love being outside, particularly going on hikes- if your dog is also a big walker i’d be happy to take them and bring along everything they need to stay happy and safe!

About: Growing up we always had a dog who was a special family member. We had springer spaniels and labradors along with an epileptic white cat. I enjoy spending time with dogs, talking to them, grooming them or just playing. We wanted a family dog for years but as our jobs didn’t allow this in the past we were never able to commit as dogs need so much time, love and affection. My current job now allows me to have the time to spend with your dogs instead. I work from home with a flexible work environment that allows me to spend time with your furry friends. Being self employed I am not at the beck and call of a boss, this allows me to enjoy time with your dogs. We have a fenced off back garden where your dog can spend time safely and the house is also a comfortable and relaxing environment. About: I need animals as much as they need me! I just love them. I understand how much your animals are loved and needed and so I only offer the best care and attention when I'm looking after them. Please note this is my full time job so i wont leave the house longer then 2 hours in a 24 hour period. If the animal needs strictly someone there at all times please let me know in advance so I can prepare. I charge a flat rate for the household and so you won't be charged extra for an extra pet. I have taken care of cats and dogs since the age of 10. Walking feeding administering medication if needed. I am also able to train dogs to follow basic demands. I am very trustworthy and can get a reference if needed on how I handle animals. Saftey and trust are of top priority and I am very mindful of the animals I look after. I am extremely flexible and have alot of spare time to fit dog/ cat sittings drop ins and walks into my schedule. Due to my military background I have been taught to pay attention to every detail. I will keep your routines, am very aware of home saftey and will walk dogs on leash to build trust before I let them off leash. Unless yours is a dog that needs to be kept on leash. I also encourage pet owners with anxious dogs to look into getting some sort of visible aid to warn over dog walkers of an anxious dog. They do bandanas leads on ebay. I myself will wear a tshirt that says 'dog walker we need space' I work hard to gain your fur babies trust and although some animals may be anxious at first I tend to find they come around quickly with some treats and love. Their saftey is my top priority. This is my full time job so I can be in the house with your pet for most of the day. Reach out if your stuck last minute I send regular updates with written communication and pictures. I am very conscious of satfey of the animal so I always make sure I leave the house secure.

About: I’m a full time dog walker and cleaner in the Chepstow area. (Helpinghandsdogwalking&cleaning) I have been around dogs my whole life. From older dogs to a litter of puppies. I have had to train dogs of all ages from a young age. Taking care to learn from the dog and build trust quickly so I can walk and command with ease. I’m currently available 7 days a week. About: I have had large breed dogs for over 18 years and love walking, playing and training dogs of all ages and size. I am flexible and happy to create a flexible and bespoke care plan for your dog because I know as a pet owner how important that is. I have a large 5 bedroom house that my dog and your dog will have the run of. There are two sofas for dog use in my kitchen diner (with a dog flag direct to the garden). I don’t have a huge garden but I live minutes away from fields and meadows where I can walk your dog on or off lead, according to your preference. My dog is very laid back. Very submissive and friendly. He is a Male of 2 years old who is castrated and fully vaccinated.

About: I’ve had dogs, cats, rabbits, lizards and snakes since I was a small child. I have cared for animals most of my life. I’ve taken care of family and friends pets on and off since I was 16, dealing with animals of all shapes and sizes. I just love spending time with animals. I am available most nights during the week as well as some weekends. If arranged in advance I am able to stay for as long as is required. I will oblige to any and rules you set for your pet and follow any instructions exactly. My approach is positive and friendly trying to relax animals and spending time giving them affection.

About: In Chepstow, I work from home and love looking after pets. I've been taking care of dogs in and around Chepstow now for 2 years, with especially Snoopy every day for the past 7 months while his owner was at work, but they're moving now to another town 😢 Though I'll miss Snoopy, I'm excited to get back on Rover and meet new furry friends. I grew up on a farm surrounded by animals, so caring for them has always been natural for me. I started walking my neighbor's dog, Rosie, a few times a week after leaving home, and it made me realize how much I enjoy being around animals. It brings me so much happiness to spend time with them, and I can't wait to care for your pets too! I’m currently working a maximum of 2 days in the office a week, which isn’t too far away from where I live, so happy to care for pets during this time as well. When I’m working from home in the week, I’m often stretching my legs at lunchtime and enjoy being outside as much as possible. On the weekends I’m as free as a bird too and love getting out and about in nature! I live in a cosy house with a garden. About: I love being around dogs whether it be walking or looking after them, I find I am my most happy self around them. Because of this your dog would receive great care and affection and I'd do my best to make them happy too! I have two border collies which I walk everyday. They require ALOT of exercise so I have a knack now of tiring dogs out, I find you can never go wrong with a good tennis ball and a big field. I love walking any breed of dog and find that it is not the breed that determines the dog but it's personality (every dog is different and special in their own way). So I welcome Staffies or any other negatively stereotyped dog, they're all equal in my eyes. I am 21 years old and really would love to build a career in animal care. I live in the middle of the countryside so am used to mud and unfortunate smells....
