“Ellie solved my problem at the very last minute and was very flexible with the arrangements for taking care of my cat Woland. As he was happily purring and getting scritches, I think he was very satisfied too.”

“Absolutely excellent! My cats don’t usually like strangers but took to Danielle immediately. They were so calm and relaxed when I came home. Regular updates for me meant I was also relaxed while I was away. Would not hesitate to recommend!”

About: Looking for a loving, trustworthy, and experienced pet sitter? Well, look no further! 🐾 My name’s Jenny, and I provide quality in-home pet sitting for you and your furry friends in Disley and the surrounding areas. I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life and have learned how to understand, love, and care for them in the best way possible. Working with animals has always been my dream, and I’m so grateful to be doing what I love every single day. Whether you need a regular pet sitter or someone you can trust while you’re away on holiday, I promise to care for your pets as if they were my own. I believe in building strong relationships with my clients — and their pets — so everyone feels safe and comfortable. Multiple meet-and-greets? Regular updates? You’ve got it. If I ever feel we’re not the right fit, I’ll always be honest so you can find the perfect match. I take time to really get to know your pets — their quirks, their favourite things, and all the little habits that make them unique. If you’re looking for someone who truly adores animals and will go above and beyond for your pets, send me a message! My availability is always updated via the Rover calendar, and I’m happy to answer any questions. 🐾 DBS Checked 🐾 Fully Insured 🐾 Pet First Aid Trained My Rover calendar is always up to date! I’m flexible with scheduling and happy to accommodate your pet’s needs. If you don’t see the dates you want, just send me a message! As a pet sitter, I know there’s nothing more important than trust and safety. You’re inviting me into your home and trusting me with your beloved pets — and I take that responsibility to heart. I’m more than happy to arrange meet-and-greets, provide credentials, and my Rover account is fully verified. During each visit or stay, I send plenty of photos and updates so you can relax knowing your pets are happy and cared for. While your trust and safety are my top priorities, I’ve also learned through experience that my own comfort and safety matter too. For that reason, I don’t feel comfortable being recorded on indoor security cameras during my stay — it can feel like an invasion of privacy. Ring doorbells or outdoor security systems are absolutely fine, but I believe pet sitting works best when it’s built on mutual trust. If you ever have questions, concerns, or specific safety requests, I’m always open to listening so we can find a solution that works for everyone.

“Dulcie did a great job doing a couple of drop in visits to feed our two cats while we were away for the weekend. She made sure they had everything they needed and was quick in responding to messages. Thanks very much!”

About: I can look after or care for your dog when you are at work. I used to have a couple of Jack Russells and some years ago a couple of border collies. All from puppies. I work from home now and live by myself and would love some company. I have a garden. My son has a dog Luna, Pixie is my twin sister’s dog and Tomaquet & Moocher were my Jack Russells. I am flexible on days as I am home every day including evenings and weekends. Able to take out for walks. I have a fenced garden. Happy to have 2 dogs from the same family. Also doggy day care is available. I have a Chi-Poo (Chihuahua mixed with a toy poodle). I started to use Rover myself as a customer last year as occasionally I have to go to Nottingham for a day with work, but started to care for other people's dogs earlier this year. I am getting really booked up so if you could confirm your booking as soon as you are able to after the meet and greet so that I can guarantee the booking for your doggie woggie that would be great. I like to arrange a meet and greet first though anyway and do that at my house in Woodsmoor so that your pooch can get used to a new environment and feel more familiar. I have looked after a variety of dogs including rescue dogs who need socialising with other dogs, taller dogs who can open door handles, greedy dogs who need to be given only the right amount of food so I have to watch that they don’t pinch other dogs food, down to the real, cheeky, sweet ones who are mischievous but you can’t help loving them as they are furiously wagging their tail 😂😂😂 I have looked after puppies, dogs with attitudes and the ones who like do things on their terms but I know what I can handle with boundaries. If I or Minnie are not happy with a dog I will say so but to be honest this has only happened a couple of times. I need to know your furbaby will be comfortable too xx I work from home so can care for dogs in my house. I don’t put my dog in kennels as she is not an outside kennel dog. Minnie shares the bed with me and I am happy for your special pooch to do the same. However if your dog is crate trained I can also accommodate that. I live near Mirlees fields, but also like going to Cale Green Park, Bramhall Park, Bruntwood Park and Vernon Park. I have a fenced in garden and always take dogs out on a lead. I love looking after dogs in my own house. My dog likes running around the garden. I have loads of fields nearby so if your dog is ok off the lead they can have a run around. I use dog seats in my car when travelling to ensure that all the doggies are kept safe!

“Naomi has been a superb sitter for my cat. She was extremely flexible - especially when we had a power cut and needed to change arrangements for getting into the house. I would highly recommend”

“Mark gave exceptional care to our cat, Gelato. Gelato unfortunately suffered life-changing injuries 3 months ago. We didn’t think anyone would be willing to look after an incontinent cat, but Mark was very understanding and attended to Gelato’s needs with such care and attention. We are so grateful. Mark even took professional pictures of Gelato, which we were thrilled with.”

About: Ever since i was little i have always owned and been around dogs. I have always adored them and think they deserve the world. I have trained Border Collies from the puppy stage all the way to adulthood. It’s hard but hard work pays off! From lead training to obedience to recall. We’ve also had our own Jack Russells who can be hard to train as-well! They're both a working breed so require a lot more time put into them and their mind stimulated so I'm not afraid of hard work with your furry friends! Recently ive took the leap to make this my full time job along with my own dog walking business called Heathcotes Cloud K9 (on facebook and now on google) so will have plenty of time plus the weekend for your pets. Just enquire and I'm sure with no doubt i can fit you in! Your pet could even join in the fun during my time pet sitting them. I have my own border collie who is a working dog so i know how it can be with dogs regarding trust and safety. We can always take things slow if you have any nervous animals i am very patient and understanding. I will always meet your animals needs.

I have a fenced garden, I also live in a lovely area with lots of places to walk. I have no pets of my own, your pet will be allowed on furniture if that’s what they are used to. I'm currently working remotely 3 days a week and am available on weekends. My days from home are fairly flexible each week. I'm also available most weekends. I currently have my own dog who I walk daily, so could either take on walks with another dog, or could do drop-ins and walks independently. As I have a toddler, I'm not able to bring other pets into my home; however, I can do drop ins and walks for pets who are staying within their own home. This could either be with my lovely labradoodle or on their own - whichever your pet would prefer!

“Laura took great care of my two dogs . She took time to find out about their routines and any quirks. Alfie is 13 and Minnie is 18 months so walking them is a challenge. She gave me lots of reassuring updates by text and even managed a bit of training with Minnie. Laura also made some helpful suggestions to help Alfie with his stiffness. Our dogs got on very well with her. I have no hesitation in recommending Laura to take real care of your pets.”

I highly recommend her 😃 Thank you and we’ll see you soon.”

“Julie has cared for our dog numerous times over the last 3-4 years and he absolutley adores her. Julie cares for him as if he was her own dog and showers him with cuddles and affection. She has cared for him for periods from a day to a week/10 days. She has also done some house visits for us when we have needed this. She is trustworthy and reliable and I wouldn't have anyone else caring for Axel or entering our home.”

Sara B.
“Sara is fantastic with our dogs. She treats them as if they were her own. Plenty of walks, love and cuddles. She provides a safe, trustworthy, caring and reliable home from home environment. Nothing is too much trouble. She is a lovely lady too.”

Mollie T.
“Mollie has helped to care for both of my dogs, walking them during the day whilst I was at work and taking care of them when we went on holiday. I have been more than happy with the service Mollie provides. She is a very pleasant, friendly, helpful person and the dogs love her ! I would highly recommend her, I trust her with my precious pets and in my home.”

Annabel C.
“Annabel is the absolute epitome of an animal lover, having grown up with animals from the earliest years of childhood, right through to adulthood where she has brought pets into our family home (and is regularly trying to bring more!). As a pet caregiver, she demonstrates responsibility, love and genuine compassion, and works hard to ensure that the lives of the animals that she's responsible for are as positive and loving as can be. Any plans made incorporate our Betsy as an equal member of the family whose needs are always considered, and Annabel's days are planned around walking, playing with and enriching the life of our dog, and the pets that she's looked after for family and friends in the past. When it comes to caring for family pets, I can't think of a more loving and responsible person to put your trust in.”
