“Lovely couple, great communication and from the lovely photos it looks like Gateaux had a great day 🥰 definitely animal lovers, would use again if we’re ever in Portsmouth!”

“Would highly recommend! Having never left our dog Stormy with anyone other than family before - we were a little bit nervous leaving him with someone completely new. However, right from the beginning Tracey made us feel very confident that we were leaving him with someone that would take good care of him. We were only away for the day but Tracey and her lovely family took him out for a couple of walks including a stroll down Southsea sea front. She checked in with us whilst we were away and we have lots of lovely pictures of him enjoying his day. We are incredibly happy with the service and have already said we will definitely come back to Tracey again.”

“Faye was amazing with my dog Hugo, sent me photos and texts to let me know how he was whilst she was looking after him and took him out for a few walks through the day. I would highly recommend Faye ⭐️”

“Dogs were very happy after a full day with Pauline. it was a perfect way top ensure the dogs were looked after whilst we were doing sight seeing at 'non dog friendly' sights and gave them a rest after visiting many of hampshires sights. Apologies to Pauline if they got a bit excited and pulled too much, for little cavaliers, when they want, they seem to have a lot of strength.”

“Coral and Jordan are brilliant, Bailey felt at home right from the moment she met them and we feel very comfortable leaving her with them. They take great care of her and keep us up to date with photos and updates re her walks etc. Would definitely recommend!”

About: Hi my name is Ellisia! A little about me, I was very luck to have Fostered 8-10 rescues from Europe in my home as a volunteer for a new leash for life charity (Hampshire based dog charity) in 2023. And rescued one of those of my own who is now a lover. Dog grooming assistant qualified, at Chichester college. I handled dog breeds or all shapes and sizes. And can bath, groom and trim nails. 2 months volunteering in Thailand in a dog sanctuary back in 2020. When I assisted with the running of the dog rescue centre. Bathing, feeding and comforting new rescues. And walking the resident dogs. Owned my own dog for 1 year now! And grew up with a family dog ( a Norfolk terrier) for 17years from the age of 11-28, she sparked my love for animals and dogs that’s for sure. Have been walking and sitting dogs for the last 2 years approximately along side my job which is work from home. With the intention to eventually do this full time. About: I’ve loved dogs my whole life and have personal experience caring for them. I had a Bichon-Poodle mix (a Poochon ☺️) for seven years, so I understand the energy levels and different needs of small breeds. While I may not have professional experience, I make up for it with genuine care, patience, and a love for animals. I know how important it is to make dogs feel safe, happy, and well exercised, whether it’s a playful or a calm walk. I’ll treat your dog like my own, making sure they’re comfortable and cared for every step of the way! I am currently taking a break from work to focus on creating a healthy work-life balance, this therefore gives me plenty of flexibility for dog care! I have the time to offer reliable walks and quality care, whether it’s a regular routine or occasional walks when needed. I live in a flat and while I would love to have a chihuahua one day, it’s not possible at the moment so caring for other pets is the next best thing! My home is a calm and safe space and it’s lucky to have several large parks just a few minutes away, perfect for walks and playtime. There’s also a pet shop nearby so I can easily pick up anything needed.

“Our pup, Bailey, is technically mine, but my parents refuse to admit it 😅 When I took a job that requires me to move in January, it meant leaving Bailey behind 🥲 After struggling to find the right person and dealing with a hectic schedule and last-minute family commitments during the week we were supposed to have a meet-and-greet, Nikola still graciously agreed to watch Bailey on Sunday, even though she could have easily canceled. She was is so kind, extremely reassuring, and very helpful, easing my worries about leaving him with someone he doesn’t know. She even shared pictures of her home beforehand and kept me updated throughout the day that she looked after him. Long story short, i would 100% recommend Nikola to anyone needing any care whether that be a walk, daycare etc. Bailey can’t wait to see her again!”

About: I have been a proud dog owner since I was young. I currently have two dogs a greyhound and a collie. Both enjoy long walks and regular exercise. I enjoy teaching them some cool tricks and we visit some lovely places such as the beach, woods and local parks.I have taken care of puppies right through to elderly dogs and have experience with challenging and reactive dogs. I work from home a lot and can accommodate around your needs. I spend a lot of time with my dogs and we have exercise everyday fitted into the daily routine I am happy to care for your pups with arrangement in advance. I can offer walks, feeds, daily checks, exercise, and overnight care- please note I offer a 15 min meet and greet at your home or locally if you are a new client to observe your pets where they are most comfortable and to discuss how you would like me to care for your pet and the duties you wish me to do. All dogs will be walked separately. I am flexible and can work from home a lot. I am able to offer short stays at present such as long weekends for day care or sitting depending on dates and preferences. Please bear in mind the house sitting hours schedule I currently work on is 8pm/9pm-8am/9am (distance dependent) and if you require an additional drop in visit/walk throughout the day time this will usually be mid/late afternoon for 30 minutes-1 hour before returning to your property in the evening to sit overnight. I do not offer 24/7 in the home during the day time when house sitting due to outside commitments but they will be exercised well and receive great interaction throughout. Please e sure this is the correct house sitting schedule for your pets before you book to avoid disappointment as I cannot guarantee I can remain in your home all day on a house sit without going out for a short while. Dependent on distance petrol/travel costs will be additional charge (usually 10 miles plus) I have a garden and have access to close by parks, beach and woodland areas. We often drive to the woods or hills if we want a longer walk. I have private sitter insurance. I work but can be flexible. I offer a lot more free time over weekends and half terms dependent on the needs of the dog. I do not offer home boarding at this time. I do enjoy offering house sitting in your home subject to dates and needs of the pet.

“Basil had a great time in Teodora’s care, we got regular updates and adorable photos. We ended up booking the following day as well! Basil was so tired when he came back after the lots of walks and playing fetch. 100% recommended her again!”

“Very happy with the service Sandy offered, Zak and Georgie both settled with her and Bruce, she gave me photos and updates and kept them very cool in the hot weather. Recommend to other dog owners. Thank you Sandy”

“Little Cujo had a great time, you can tell they are the most amazing animal lovers! He felt right at home, the pupdates from Pat kept me reassured. Thoroughly recommend, will be returning when our pup needs sitting again! Couldn't of picked a better person to look after my little one!!”

About: SJ's Sofa4Sighthounds is 5* licensed home boarding which began in March 2023 - providing all the home comforts, a safe garden for zoomies, human company and safe walkies. Please note you will have to complete forms and send proof that your dog is up to date with vaccinations. A trial sleepover before your holiday is an absolute must. I accept sighthounds... Greyhounds, Lurchers, Salukis, Whippets, Italian Greyhounds... you get the idea, those skinny sensitive beauties. Home boarding is my full time job. I have a licence with Gosport Council, insurance and I am doggy first aid trained. I don't take noisy dogs or dogs with separation anxiety as I have neighbours both sides. If you know your dog wees indoors, just be honest and supply dog nappies/belly bands. As per my licence requirement from my council, all dogs must have a trial sleepover before their longer stay. I provide: Tractive GPS tracker on your dog whilst in my care. Good sized back garden with high fences. Tall dog gates on doorways. Extra large K9 Comfort sofa dog beds (ultra comfortable and supportive). And XL fluffy donut beds. Secure and safe on lead walkies only. A whole lot of affection, patience and love.

About: I've taken care of lots of dogs for family and friends. I would love to get a dog of my own one day, but with my current work I can't have a dog full time as I have to travel away quite a bit. I'm currently running my own business from home, so I am at home most days. My home office opens onto a large garden where Dogs can roam at there leisure and I can keep an eye on them. I have a large fenced in garden with lots of grass for your dog to enjoy. My home is also large enough to easily accommodate your dog

About: I had a cat for 12 years and have a dog (cockapoo) who is 4 years old. I also have a cocker spaniel who is nearly 2 (he lives with my mum in a different property) I have such a massive love for all animals, especially dogs and am also a huge cat lover. I would love for nothing more than to help people out by doing something that I’ve always loved - caring for animals. Very skilled at caring for puppies/dogs, kittens/cats. Looking at my photos you can see my own dog Poppy the apricot Cockapoo, and a variety of other dogs that I am around quite frequently, as small as Dachshund or as big as a Doberman. I’m very flexible and will ensure all instructions or preferences from the owner are carried out. I think this is very important to ensure the pet is staying in the habits the owner would like. For example, not being allowed on beds if the owner is training the dog to not jump on beds. I am looking to provide services of dog walking, drop ins and overnight stays in the owners home. I can drive which makes me even more flexible, I can therefore drive pets to different walking destinations (only if the owner confirms this is okay - owner could provide a dog cage for the car if necessary). I will give my undivided attention to the pet and care for them as if they were my own. Overall I just love animals and would love to help people out! I work full time, but from home,!meaning I am able to come and look after your dog/cat during the week and be at home all day with them caring for them. I work from just a laptop so no set up required, just WiFi! In regards to dog walks I have an hour lunch and can do mornings or after work. I have had pets most of my life and know how important it is to make sure they are safe at all times. This mainly entails making sure they are in a safe environment e.g doors shut and keeping them in areas they are not able to just run out of.

About: I believe that i have alot of experience while looking after pets due to while growing up we had a house full of animals and grew a strong bond with them all! I love going out on walks and making sure they are happy at all times! I have helped out in the groomers quite alot so that has help me gain knowledge and experience on how to clean and groom animals if it was needed! Aswell as staying as calm and loving as possible while they are distressed in that environment! I have a lot of time during these times to give my everything to your pet and make sure they are getting everything they need at all times as i believe thats important!
