About: I’ve taken care of dogs including my own for over 7 years, I love going on adventures with them and ensuring everyone has a fun and safe day out! I’m currently training as an accountant and work from home on some Wednesdays but every Thursday and Friday and am available at weekends. I am based near Polsloe Bridge in Exeter. I have a 8 year old miniature golden doodle who will also be joining on the walks and is very friendly and well socialised. Although I am based in a flat, I am at the ground level so I have a fenced courtyard garden at the back and numerous parks around the property to go for walks and adventures.

About: I've had experience with quite a few dogs in my life and love all animals. My first dog was an American Eskimo when I was in primary school. My next, a sweet Cocker Spaniel/Poodle mix from secondary school through to my uni days. Within the last five years, I also had two beautiful American Akitas who I've had to rehome due to my life circumstances changing drastically, not being able to fly them over to the UK (I've moved here to study law at uni), my mom not being able to care for both them and her German Shepherd while I was away due to her own health and lack of necessary resources, and knowing that I could not give them both the time and attention they individually require if they were both still with me. I am still healing from the heartbreak, however we made sure to rehome them to people we fully trust. Their rehoming could not have been any luckier and for the best as they are each with new families who happen to be friends (they get playdates, so they are still bonded!), in my same neighbourhood back home in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, who both devote so much of their time and have all the resources that each of my babies deserve. I still keep in touch with both families and are welcome to visit them any time I am in town. Upon arriving in the UK, I petsat for two different families using TrustedHousesitters and still keep in touch with both. I took care of two Cocker Spaniel/Poodle mixes for one, and a Border Terrier and cat for the other. I currently work part-time jobs, so my schedule can be sporadic. However, I would absolutely love to walk or sit for your pets if I am able to! I am available for walks depending on the time and day. I'm not able to take care of pets in my own home at present (I hope to be able to in the future as I am currently in a student flat), however, in a pet parent's home, I care for pets in the way I'm asked by the parent(s) so long as it is caring and respectful for the pet. I stick to their usual routine because I know this would make pets feel most comfortable while giving their parent(s) peace of mind.

About: Hey there! My name is Carla. I have a real passion for looking after dogs; I grew up with 4 dogs ever since I was a young child. As I no longer have pets of my own, I would love to spend my extra time caring for dogs. That’s why Rover is the perfect opportunity for me. I have previously looked after chihuahua puppies, miniature poodles, maltese, terriers, etc. I am very natural at working with dogs. I have left part-time work to go back and finish my final year at university. My schedule is very flexible with most of my classes being available online, which gives me plenty of free time to dedicate to dog sitting. I’m often home studying, so your pet will have lots of company and attention! I try my best to make your pet feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away! About: Hi there, I’m Evan (22). I own a large greyhound and have experience in big breeds, reactivity, and puppy training. I’m comfortable with all breeds, sizes, and personalities of dogs. I have cared for such a variety - from Labrador puppies to a Great Dane! I grew up with all kinds of animals which fuelled my love for them, and I have a soft spot for large dogs. I have also cared for cats! I promise to make your furry friend feel safe, loved, and cared for - no matter their needs. Monday-Thursday: dog walks after 6pm, drop-in’s after 6pm. Friday: dog walks after 6pm, drop-in’s after 6pm, house sitting overnight. Saturday: dog walks & drop-in’s all day, house sitting. Sunday: dog walks & drop-in’s all day. Due to my new work schedule, I’ll only be available after 5pm on most weekdays, though I will update my calendar every time I have a free weekday. Free on weekends. I understand the importance of trusting someone with the care of your furry family member. I will give you updates and pictures so you’re confident in knowing what’s going on and will follow the routine and any guidance you give me. Any mess the pet(s) make will be cleaned up by myself, and I will continue any puppy training. I will ensure they’re comfortable, played with, fed, hydrated, and cuddled!

About: I’ve had pets since I was in my early teens, both cats and dogs. I have experience with rescues, with my previous dog Moe being a senior rescue with a lot of anxiety and support needs. I have also cared for puppies, helping train and support them from the age of about 8 weeks. I love animals and as I am not able to have my own pet right now, this is the next best thing. I am loving, love to go exploring with my pets, love to try and support training and I am also hoping to one day support guide dogs by fostering a trainee puppy. I can guarantee your pet will be well looked after and fussed over, kept clean and walked as much as needed. I have access to lots of green spaces for toilet time! I’m currently working from home and occasionally go into the office, however this is infrequent. I am in the house most of the day and have flexibility to take dogs for walks whenever needed in the local area, or if at weekends, anywhere. I have a good amount of space and I care for pets with love and affection. I love a dog cuddle and with my pets have often sat on the floor with them to let them snuggle up to me. I maintain a clean environment and ensure food is out of the way and will always ensure I follow any required rules for a pet in terms of whether they can go on the sofa or bed, for example. I am flexible and animals tend to respect me and listen to me as I am gentle and kind with them.

About: I’ve been fortunate enough to grow up in a family full of animals. This included two working cocker spaniels who I adored completely. Upon leaving my family home in Wiltshire, I started volunteering as an animal care assistant for the RSPCA where I had 3 amazing years caring for a huge range of animals. This included playful pups, senior dogs, additional need canines and doggos full of energy. I also gained experience with rats, ferrets, rabbits, cats, hamsters and Guinea pigs! I’ve been dog/cat sitting for family and friends for as long as I can remember, and spent the majority of Summer 24 caring for precious pets. I work flexible hours from home, so I have the freedom to walk and visit your pups at all hours of working week! I also have a car and live in central Exeter so I can be anywhere in EX1-4 within 10 mins! I will care for your pets according to their needs and the rules of your home. If your dogs a sofa dog, then I’m on that sofa with them. If your dogs wears a high-vis jacket in the dark, then they can match with mine. If your dog is crated, then I’ll give them that safe space. You know your dog best, I’m just happy to get some of their love

About: I have had family pets all my life. I have looked after friends, family and my own pets, taking them out for walks, feeding and cleaning when required. I have recently finished my third term of university therefore have a lot of time to spare over summer! I also play professional sport, and have a lot of time in the mornings and on off days to look after your pets! I have a secure house and outdoor space. There are no other pets in the house. I would take your dog well known and pet friendly areas.

About: I fostered pups (mostly chihuahua mixes and one part pitbull) while living in Mexico (2021-2024) before they went on to their forever homes. I’m used to both young and nervous/adjusting temperaments, and it was always amazing to hear how happy and well adjusted their new families found them. I also helped out with new litters of street dogs (feeding/cleaning and of course playtime) as I lived close to the animal sanctuary which was a dream come true. Every dog/pup’s personality is different and I know how to respond to a full range of barks, I love spending the day in the dog’s rhythm, being guided by walk (GPS always - keeping your fur baby on the lead if recommended, just let me know) and toilet times (responsible bagging of course comes with this territory!). In the UK I’ve mostly sat for friends and family’s dogs (Labradors, Jack Russells Spaniels and Cockapoos). I’m very responsive in calls/texts/whatsapp, and either put playtime first or simply provide a safe atmosphere where all their wellbeing needs are met. I’m a freelance writer (wfh) who is very happy to stay overnight; I prioritise walking time and playtime so your dog/puppy can follow their usual routine, especially when it comes to housetraining (puppy experience shines on!) Mealtimes happen as normal and I’ll check in about when / what treats are part of the existing routine, especially for pups or where this interplays with training. Lots of gentle but firm playtime (including introducing chew toys to help gently refocus a bitey puppy), and as many walks and/or as long garden playtime as is wanted. 🏠: Note, when boarding at mine, our garden is a well walled roof garden, good for fresh air, but we’ll go for proper walks nearby in St Bartholomew’s Square and/or Flowerpots Park.

About: Hi, this is Yves, I m from Hongkong. I have taken care for my relatives and friends dogs for ages, feeding, making fresh meal, dog cookies, dog walks, cleaning paws after walk and potty. I moved to Exeter few months ago from Oxford with my partner and now just want to start with something could work at home, soI can be all day and night available to every furry babies, I can do dogwalk in day time 12-6,or staying in any day in the week! I have a fenced sharing garden and a large park near my home like 1 min walk! And 5 mins walk to the Quay!! I have no pet in the home, they can go on sofa and have all the attention they want! My partner also works from home like 2-3 days a week, so we will always have someone at home for the dogs or bring them for walkie.
