“We left our labrador, Naala, with Kirsten for the day and she had a wonderful time! Naala was welcomed into the home, had some lovely walks and plenty of cuddles from the whole family. Will definitely use Kirsten again when we’re in the area. Thank you x”

About: I’ve had dogs of all ages and breeds throughout my life. I have a true soft spot for senior dogs, making sure they are happy and comfortable is my goal. I recently lost my beautiful little girl, a Jack Russell and since then I haven’t felt ready, but now I feel I have lots of love to give to doggies that need it and I would love to help! Pop me a message and we can have a chat! I’m a full time stay at home mum to one. So my days are very flexible. At all times there can be a person at home if that is needed for your pet. Walks are also very flexible, along with check ins. I am flexible and happy to make accommodations where I can! I have a fully fenced off garden and I live on a very quiet estate with multiple walking routes available on or off terrain. I have a gate on my kitchen door which can be used if needed to separate the doggies without fully shutting the door as I don’t like to leave them alone! I am also happy to accommodate crates if that’s what your fur baby is happy in. :)

About: I have always been in a home full of dogs from a young age, training & caring for multiple breeds of dogs over the years. I have 3 terriers of my own aged 1, 4 & 8. One is blind, they are well trained but spoilt as my dogs are like family to me and yes they do come to bed ha. I am happy to cater for all your dogs needs & individual requirements, walking, cuddles, play time and sticking to their routine & boundaries you have set for them is very important to me. I am a regular dog boarder and happy to come out to your home for visits & dog walks if you prefer. All my own dogs are neutered. I only accept fully vaccinated dogs up to date with worming & flea treatments. I work full time but I am home 3 days a week and have my own dogs visited during the day on the two days I am in the office. I walk my dogs twice a day, we have regular playtime and weekends are for four legged adventures. I have a large property with plenty of garden and yard space to run around in. My dogs have the run of the house but your pet who is boarding at my home will be catered for as per its individual needs, dogs will be in separate rooms for night time arrangements and if left for short periods. If I agree to have your dog I will ensure they are my priority for the duration of their stay & provide you with regular updates. We have lovely countryside around us so off road walking will be available for your pet to enjoy.

“Cathryn and her family were great with Lola. Looked after her at really short notice and she clearly had a great day being walked and getting lots of cuddles. Would highly recommend!”

About: I have grown up with dogs, mainly border collies who we had from puppies, who I helped with the care of such as walks and training. Then for ten years I had my own greyhound who I adopted after she retired from racing. She made it to the age of thirteen and a half before I had to say goodbye due to age related illness, and I miss her very much. I work from home, so will be around for most of the day to play and let dogs outside, and have time each morning to take them for a good walk. I have a good sized garden, with six foot fencing all round and locked gates for security. I have space in the house for a medium sized dog crate if needed, and where possible will keep to the routine your dog is used to. I do have children in the house, I can keep them separate from the dogs the majority of the time and, of course, will never leave them alone together.

About: I adore animals of all kinds and have grown up around dogs, cats, horses. There’s never been a time when I haven’t had a dog, life wouldn’t be the same with out one. I’m a self employed artist that works part time from home. Im there pretty much all day, every day. I live in a 3 bedroomed house with a secure fenced garden. It’s in a quiet location, a one minute walk from open fields and with miles of countryside walks close by. I live on my own with my dog Doris. She is a three year old Bedlington Whippet and is my absolute world. She is super sweet and gets on very well with other dogs. She loves to play, but is also respectful and will give space if necessary. I take her out at least twice a day - I love walking and being around nature so this is as much for my benefit as it is hers. Your dog will be loved and cared for and treated just as Doris is. They will be free to roam around downstairs and have free run in the secure back garden. They are welcome to lie on the sofa and have snuggles. I will take them them out for a good walk at least twice a day in fields and on footpaths nearby. I will ALWAYS keep them on a lead, but I’m happy to discuss the booking of a secure field if necessary. I’m also happy to send frequent updates and photos. I will insist on a meet and greet, and will not take a reactive or aggressive dog. I will do my best to keep to your dogs routine and meet any special needs.

About: I absolutely adore all animals- especially dogs- and I am passionate about their welfare. My husband and I have cared for dogs for over ten years now, as well as cats, turtles and fish. I am DBS checked and certified in canine first aid. As a pet owner myself, I fully understand how hard it can be to trust someone else with your precious little fur baby; rest assured they will be treated as one of my own here. Lots of love and dedicated attention in a peaceful, rural environment. I am a qualified primary teacher. I work full time currently but I am available weekends and school holidays. I am hoping to go part time from September so should have more availability from then. I live with my husband, Dan and our rescue French Bulldog, Stitch. We are fortunate to have a spacious house with a large, enclosed garden. We also have a woodland, park and nature reserve all within walking distance so plenty of opportunities for lovely walks.

“What a lovely girl, Maddie was amazing with my dog whilst I was away, kept me updated with pictures and chats and I came back to a little happy fluff baby. Would highly recommend Maddie and will most certainly use her services again. Thankyou so much for everything 💓 💖”

About: Hello👋 I’ve always had a deep love and respect for animals, especially cats and dogs. Spending time with them genuinely makes my day brighter—whether that’s going for long walks, a jog in the park, or just enjoying a quiet evening curled up together. I believe animals deserve attention, patience, and kindness. I work from home, which means I’m very flexible and can easily fit in multiple walks, play sessions, and cuddle breaks throughout the day. My schedule allows me to step away from my desk whenever your pet needs attention—whether that’s a morning walk to start the day, a midday stroll to burn off some energy, or an afternoon playtime in the yard or living room. Because I’m home all day, your pet wouldn’t be left alone for long stretches, and I can adapt to their routine and energy levels. I genuinely enjoy taking breaks to bond, play, and care for animals—it keeps both me and them happy, active, and relaxed When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they feel comfortable and safe by keeping a calm, welcoming environment and following their usual routines as closely as possible. I provide plenty of playtime, walks, and quiet cuddle time, depending on what they enjoy.

“Our dogs were so happy to be at Helen's, we had no worries about leaving them there as they went off playing with Helen's dog straight away. I got photos of them on walks and relaxing at the home, during their stay - which was very reassuring. When we picked the dogs up, they were excited to see us but equally ran back to Helen for a cuddle when we were chatting, that tells me that there were no problems. We will definitely be using Helen again.”
