“Upon meeting for the 1st time Droskyn was happy and content. During his stay we received regular pupdates and photographs and was reassured that Droskyn was well . He had plenty of exercise and play and we were 100% happy with the care he received. I would definitely recommend Linda and Rob if your looking for Homeboarding for your dog. Thankyou so much to you both .”

“Apollo just came back from his mini break at David's and as always he's enjoyed it! David is an absolute super star, with him we can leave Apollo and know that all will be well 😊”

“Fantastic dog sitting service from Lisa, Jeff was well looked after and it is clear he enjoyed his time. I got regular updates and photos which helped feel at ease. I would highly recommend Lisa and most certainly be using her dog sitting service again.”

“Hannah & Teddy, Looked after our fur babies for 3 days. Everything ran smoothly. They care for them like their own loved pets. Infact, neither dog appeared to want to come home! Will be in touch again next time we need a dog sitter. thanks very much”

“Having a business function 5 hours from home and needing to find suitable care for our needy French Bulldog was potentially stressful. So glad we found Cathryn and her wonderfully calming approach. She (and her husband) were super accommodating, communicative, helpful, reassuring. Instantly connecting with Merlin when we dropped him off, and sending photos and messages throughout the evening to reassure. When we are in Staffs again and need repeat care, we will be 100% returning to Cathryn. Highly recommended!!”

“My CoCo had the best weekend with charlotte & the other dogs , I highly recommend charlotte to look after your doggies 🐕 she will send you pics , vids & keep you updated throughout with messages. I won't be going anywhere else!! Thank you again 💚”

About: I've grown up with cats, dogs and other pets - I truly love all animals and will take the best care of your fur-baby. I have worked with rescue, feral and shelter pets before, and I have taken part in dog agility classes and basic dog training. I am happy to wash/bathe/groom your pooch if required, same goes for cats. I work from home during week days, so I will be on-hand for your pets care, needs and attentions day and night! My work is flexible, so I can start and stop as needed, meaning I can provide them with their required attention - whether that's playing, fussing, or giving them space to chillax and snooze. I have a fenced garden, a small secure catio for cats and live with my friendly house cat Binx who is my fur baby; he loves to play, but if your pet isn't keen on playing then Binx picks-up the cues and will take himself somewhere out of the way. I understand separation can be hard on your fur baby, so I will try and make them feel as safe, loved and tended to as possible. I am used to being woken in the night by Binx, who sometimes panics and starts meowing for me - so I understand there may be some reassuring and extra attention required.

“Molly and her family did a wonderful job looking after our Rocky, daily updates on how he’s doing with photos and videos were all received with pure joy. Will continue to use molly in the future for all of Rocky’s future staycations”

“This was my first time using Rover and I'm glad I did! Kinga and Luna made Bear feel very welcome, lots of playing, walking and fussing. Kinga kept me updated throughout the whole stay and I would definitely book with her again, thank you so much!”

“We needed to book our 11 month old puppy Monty for overnight boarding very last min. We hadn't left him overnight before but Josie was amazing! She gave us loads of updates during his stay and made sure he was well looked after with lots of playtime and snuggles. Thank you so much, I would without a doubt recommend!”

“I could not recommend Dina and her little dog Daisy enough ☺️ We did a meet and greet prior to my holiday just to make sure the dogs would get on ok. I knew there would be no issues and was more than happy for my dog to be looked after by Dina. Dina kept me updated with photos throughout the week and I could tell my dog was having a lovely time and was very happy with her surroundings. My dog is 15 so can have days where she’s a little more tired than others but everything was accommodated. A perfect little holiday for my pooch ☺️ 🐾”

About: Welcome to The Home and The Hound - luxury, home-from-home dog boarding in a warm family environment. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something that comes very naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve gained lots of hands-on experience with pets of different breeds, ages, temperaments and needs, including through fostering for local charities. Growing up I have always had family pets - both cats and dogs and until a couple of years ago, had our own lovely dog, Bella. All this has given me valuable experience with everything from playful, energetic pups to more nervous dogs who need extra patience, reassurance and a gentle approach. I understand how important it is to feel completely confident when leaving your dog in someone else’s care… My aim is to provide a calm, loving and reliable home where your dog will be treated like one of the family, with plenty of comfort, affection, playtime, countryside walks and one-to-one attention. Every dog is different, so I always take the time to understand their usual routine, personality, likes, dislikes and any special requirements. Whether your dog loves cuddles on the sofa, quiet companionship, enrichment games or long walks, I’ll do my best to make sure they feel safe, settled and truly at home. Your house rules are our house rules when your pet stays with us. I’m so excited to welcome your pup into our family home. My priority is always to make sure both dogs and owners feel happy, reassured and well cared for from the moment they arrive until the moment they go home. I work from home in Swadlincote, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine and I’m around throughout the day to give dogs plenty of company, attention and reassurance. Dogs staying with us will be part of our normal family home life, with time for walks, garden breaks, play, rest and cuddles. Whilst I will always remain the sole carer looking after your pets while they stay with us, my husband is a Head of Year at a local secondary school, so during school holidays - often peak boarding times - there is even more time, attention and hands-on help at home. Our two children, who are very ‘pet savvy’ through the experience of us fostering pets for several local charities over the years, also enjoy being part of our gentle, dog-loving family environment. I aim to offer two walks a day of between 20 & 60 minutes, depending on your dog’s usual routine, age, energy levels and preferences. We also love visiting secure dog fields for safe, enriching walks and playtime. Meals times will follow your home routine and requests. Your house rules are our house rules when your pet stays with us I offer a safe, calm and loving home-from-home environment with no pets of my own. For this year, I’ll only be boarding one dog, or one household of dogs, at a time, so your dog will receive dedicated one-to-one care and personalised attention throughout their stay. Dogs will always be supervised when using our fully secure, fenced garden, and I will follow your guidance closely around feeding, walks, sleeping arrangements, routines, training cues and any special requirements. I understand how important it is to feel reassured when leaving your dog, so I’ll do everything I can to help them feel safe, settled and loved. Your dog will be welcomed into our family home and cared for with patience, kindness and consistency, just as I would want for my own, and you will be provided with regular photo and video updates throughout their stay with us.
About: I’ve cared for animals since I was young, and I have always been passionate about their health, mental well-being, and nurturing to ensure they have the best quality of life. I have a fenced garden, and the park is nearby for long walks or quick toilet breaks. Flexible regarding the doog's feeding & walking schedule
“Laura took on our booking at the last minute which was wonderful and such a relief. We got regular updates and photos and felt at ease and relaxed knowing Fidget was in her care. Fidget was very happy and relaxed when we picked her up. She had a great time! We will definitely use Laura again when we next go away and we fully recommend her 😊”

“As a first experience, it is indeed a great one. I received various updates and pictures of my Poms throughout their stay. They were even surprised to see me - which surely must be a sign that they were well looked after 🤣. It took them a split second before they realised it was me. Would definitely recommend Maddie.”

“Thank you, thank you, thank you!! To you and your family for taking care of our little gangster’s. They are content and sleeping on the sofa wrapped in blankets, their favourite place. Great communication, reassurance and happy dogs. We will definitely be asking Alice for help again 🐾🐾❤️”

“Aryane had Merry for a few days while I celebrated a birthday with family and friends. She has taken the best care of my ‘special’ dog. My boy is very loving but has some issues - health, reactivity and resource guarding. It would have been very difficult for him with all the people visiting. Aryane has managed him so well in her own home - I couldn’t be happier. I got loads of pictures and videos- that was lovely. I will definitely rebook the next time I need to sort a carer for him and hope she is available. Thank you”
“Janny & Frankie Looked after Rosie brilliantly, I was sent pictures everyday of Rosie really enjoying herself she looked so happy, I would recommend janny & Frankie 100% and we will be using them again on our next holiday . Thank you”

About: Hello! I love walking & taking care of all animals, especially dogs! Over the years I have gained alot of experience and I have a few qualifications in animal care too. I do this to help keep dogs out of the kennels, to help stop them from getting poorly and ensure that they are well cared for with lots of attention. I love going for long, refreshing walks. If given the opportunity to care for your dog, I promise to treat them well and make sure they have a fantastic time. Most of my repeated clients choose to book continually off the rover app, with time if this is something you’d prefer, please let me know ☺️ I am very trustworthy and honest, I will take care of your dog as if it were one of mine. About: From the moment I got my Dobermann, Mila, in December 2021, I was completely hooked on dogs. Their unique personalities, their boundless energy, and their unconditional love quickly turned me from a dog lover to dog obsessed! When Mila sadly and unexpectedly passed in 2024, I knew I needed to honour her by dedicating more of my life to dogs - especially those still waiting to feel the love she gave me. That’s when I began volunteering at Just for Dogs, a local rescue. For the past year, I’ve spent every Saturday and Sunday walking rescue dogs, giving them much needed human interaction, and helping them build confidence. Even more rewarding has been opening my home to foster some of these dogs - providing them with a safe, loving space where they can adjust to home life and prepare for their forever families. From nervous to confident, tiny to huge, cuddle bugs to playful adventurers, it’s been an honour to play a small role in their journey to happiness. With this experience, I feel confident in offering the very best care for your dog - tailored to their unique needs and personality. Whether it’s long walks, sofa cuddles, playtime, or simply being a calm companion, I’ll make sure your pup feels safe, happy, and loved. I work full-time Monday to Friday, but my flexible hours and ability to work from home mean I can easily fit pet care into my daily routine. This allows me to provide dog walks, drop-in visits, or companionship throughout the day, as well as plenty of attention before and after work hours. I prioritise safety, trust, and a calm environment in every pet care situation. In my home, I ensure dogs have a secure, comfortable space with access to water, toys, and a quiet area to rest. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow the owner’s routines and instructions closely, maintaining a familiar environment and minimising stress for the dog. My goal is always to create a loving, predictable, and safe experience tailored to each pet’s needs.

“We’re grateful to Cathryn for helping out with our cats while we were away. Communication was clear, and everything seemed fine when we returned. However, we did notice the visit lasted around 20 minutes rather than the full 30 minutes we had agreed and paid for, which we would have appreciated being respected. Additionally, we weren’t sure if our full feeding instructions were followed, as we couldn’t find any dry food left out, which made us wonder if the cats only received their wet food. We always aim to give honest feedback to help sitters improve, and we hope this helps for future visits.”

About: I have two dogs of my own and have been a dog walker for 3 years. I have a certification in pet first aid and am fully insured. I also have a van and offer group walks. I work between 4 and 6 during the week and have flexible university hours meaning I'll be able to work around the pet owner's schedule. I have a fenced yard as well as two friendly dogs to keep your dog company. I can crate your dog if needed but have plenty of room to play.
About: I’ve grown up around lots of dogs. My dads always had between two and six so as kid walking 3 white German shepards at a time was a good start. I’ve cared for 3 dogs the last two years walking them everyday, one being elderly and needing extra care. Whenever I’m out or round a friends house if there’s a dog I will be playing with it. I’ve been told and feel I have an affinity with dogs so making this a bigger part of my life would be a dream. Nearly 4 years ago I sold my place to move into a van this has allowed to follow my passion, dogs. I can’t tell you how lucky I feel when I’m out with a dog I get on well with. I feel I can communicate with dogs as many have told me I’m their best friend. Now summer is here I play cricket so Saturday day I will be unavailable. I’ve taken care of a wide range of dogs and understand their different needs. I’ve sat for an XL Bully to my dad’s six King Charles Spaniels. One of the dogs I walk I take for longer than I should but the dog needs it so she gets it. I speak to all dogs and feel that they understand the intent behind your words. I have lots of free time and I’m very punctual.

“Chloe has been very attentive to our two cats this week. She is very caring and her communication with us has been excellent. We have booked Chloe to look after our cats during our next two trips, as we know they will be very well cared for. 😸😊”

Will definitely book her next time we go away and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to know their fur babies are happy and safe when they go away :)”

“I have only positive views to share about Charlotte: such a friendly and positive person. She came back to my last minute plea for help very quickly and was super efficient on communication, which made my life as a first time pet owner, so much easier. Beni, loved his stay with Charlotte (I can say), the bond was there instantly. I collected a very chilled, happy and relaxed pup. Thank you so much for helping me out with Beni, I am sure Beni would give his two paws up for his pleasant stay and would he need to come back 🥰🐾”

“Absolutely amazing! Molly took care of my little diva for a daycare and she had an absolute fun! Even met Molly’s daughters. Molly sent updates and was absolutely responsive and sent a video in her massive garden - plenty for my lil fluff ball to run around especially with her energy levels being on the roof after the long drive. Molly was accommodating when we came in. Showed us the space bella can roam around. Definitely recommend booking her. I’ll be using her services again in the future! Thanks molly! Xx”

“Cathryn and her family were great with Lola. Looked after her at really short notice and she clearly had a great day being walked and getting lots of cuddles. Would highly recommend!”

“What a lovely girl, Maddie was amazing with my dog whilst I was away, kept me updated with pictures and chats and I came back to a little happy fluff baby. Would highly recommend Maddie and will most certainly use her services again. Thankyou so much for everything 💓 💖”
“Thank you so much Gintare. I have never used a sitting service before and was as anxious as Otto leaving him with a stranger. You put us both at ease very quickly and your regular updates and photos allowed me to relax knowing he was in good hands.”

“I left my elderly dog Jess with Brooke for the first time this week. Brooke is really kind and caring and I could tell that Jess had been well cared for. I won't hesitate to book Jess in again with Brooke.”

“Highly recommend Phoebe. This was my first time leaving Toby in somebody else's hands so I was abit nervous at first, but she updated me along the way as he spent the full day with her and her 2 pooches. Really lovely and down to earth aswell, will definitely be booking again in the future, no complaints whatsoever - thank you so much!”

“Johnny is a great dog carer. My puppy and Johnny's dog made friends instantly during initial meet and greet and it was obvious then she'll be well looked after. When I left my dog for a day care she got plenty of walk time, Johnny sent many photos and when I picked her up she was happy and relaxed. I will definitely use Johnny again.”

“Took care of my boy for a day, provided pictures and communicated well with pictures provided during the stay. Cara did an amazing job of settling Ein in and he was so sad to leave. Highly recommend.”

“Aryane has a friendly disposition, and clearly has a way with animals. Roo was immediately put at ease and I left her there feeling very confident. Photos supplied to me during the day showed Roo relaxing on the sofa and looking quite happy about the house. When I collected her at the end of the day she was not anxious to leave or stressed in any way. When booking I tried 5 other people to no avail, I was so relieved when Aryana offered her availability. I am so grateful for her help and would definitely book her again.”

About: Loving, Experienced Dog Carer with 10+ Years of Experience Hello! My name is Jonathan, and I’ve spent over a decade caring for dogs with love, patience and dedication. I’ve had the joy of owning four dogs in the past and was responsible for every aspect of their care—from long daily walks to feeding, playtime, training, and keeping them happy and healthy. I’ve also looked after dogs for friends, providing daily walks, meals, and companionship whenever they needed a helping hand. Although I don’t currently have a dog of my own (I occasionally travel for work), I work from home Monday to Friday and have plenty of time, attention, and affection to give your pup. I’m available for both daytime care and overnight boarding, and your dog will always be close by my side while I work, with regular play breaks, walks, and garden time to keep them happy and stimulated. I truly love dogs and animals of all kinds. I enjoy getting to know their personalities, playing with them, and ensuring they always feel safe, loved, and well looked after. I’ve trained all four of my own dogs and enjoy teaching new tricks when the opportunity arises. Your dog will be treated just like one of my own—with kindness, attention, and a focus on their wellbeing. I look forward to welcoming your furry friend into my home! I work at home from Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and I go on at least one long walk every day. I like to take regular breaks to play with and look after your dog and let him or her out to pee and poo regularly. They will get a walk of at least 40 minutes every day and they can spend time in my patio and garden throughout the day as well. I have a completely fenced in garden to keep your dog safe and your dog can either relax next to me as I work or lie in the living room either in a basket, on the sofa or in a crate if you prefer. I make sure that your dog always has water available and I let them out to go to the toilet regularly. I leave the back kitchen door open when it is sunny so they can come in and out of the house and garden as they please.

I provide safe walks, fun playtime, feeding, cuddles, and reliable, loving care tailored to each pet’s unique needs. I currently work shifts, which means my availability can be flexible. On early shifts I am free most afternoons and evenings, and on late shifts I am available most mornings and early afternoons. This allows me to fit in plenty of time for walks, drop-ins, and giving each pet the attention they deserve. In my home, dogs are treated like part of the family. They always have access to fresh water, comfy spaces to rest, and plenty of supervised playtime. I follow each owner’s routine closely, including feeding times, walks, and any special requirements. Safety comes first, so dogs are never left unattended for long periods. Most importantly, I give them love, cuddles, and attention to make them feel safe and happy.
About: I have studied animal care and agriculture at college, I then went on to completing my level 2 dog grooming apprenticeship where I handled all different types of breeds and their different personalities. I have also volunteered at different animal care establishments along the way. Ive also done pet sitting/walking for a few different breeds. Im currently working part time so I’ll have flexibility to care for, play with and make time with your dogs around my working hours. When looking after a pet in the owners home I will meet all the owners wishes for their pets and give them all the attention they need! Making sure they’re safe and well looked after.

About: I work from home full time which means your dog would get my undivided attention and walked at least twice a day (if needed). Have had my own dog 5 years, have previously fostered and often look after my brothers Vizsla. Walks are usually lunch times and evenings unless it’s too hot in which case they will be early mornings and late evenings. Plenty of different walks to choose from in the local area. Dogs will have free rein of the house, allowed on sofa and beds to ensure feel at home. Garden is secure with a bolted gate.
