About: I’ve always been a massive dog lover and have always taken care of any dogs that I was given the chance to. My family and family friends have trusted me to walk and feed their lovely pets, aging from puppies to 13 year old doggies. I also am willing to enforce good lead and walking manner in order to keep up your pup’s training. I am unemployed at this point in time. I am pretty much free the majority of the week. I will be working by a first come, first served basis. I have a spacious fenced garden. For walks, I would ask beforehand about your pups temperament(s) so that I will be prepared if need be. I am happy to walk reactive dogs, as long as a muzzle is provided (for precautions). I would not let your pup off their lead, unless I personally can trust them with their recall. I’d let your fur baby explore some new spots, meet some new friends, and let all their energy out. If you have any queries, please contact me for any more details!

About: I’ve cared for animals all my life, spending years on a pet care business. I’ve now finished my rugby career and want to do what I love the most, caring for animals I don’t have another job so can fit pet care in easily around the needs of the family. Out walking every day any time suits We have a fenced garden which is totally secure. Your furry friends would have company all day at home if we aren’t out walking; perfect 👌

About: I’m a massive animal lover and am a proud owner of two gorgeous cats, Ruby and Oscar- both adopted from unkind homes (Oscar was terrified to begin with and would pee everywhere for months and Ruby was hissing constantly & very scared. Now Oscar’s toileting troubles are under control and he’s growing in confidence day by day and Ruby is the most outgoing friendly cat I’ve ever met introduces herself to all!), and a lovely senior rescue dog from Bulgaria named Rosa. Rosa is dog mad gets so happy any time she sees one she breaks out of her anxious shell that her past has given her (she was previously used for breeding in Bulgaria kept on a chain and then dumped on a rubbish pile once they found out she had a mammary tumour poor thing). The cats are also fairly used to dogs as we’ve fostered a very bouncy collie shepherd rescue before as well as a Labrador puppy. We've also had or looked after small animals such as guinea pigs (I’ve had up to 30 in total but don’t anymore, used to rescue them) , rats (have only had female rats personally), hamsters (Syrians and Russian dwarfs) and have minor experience with reptiles & insects like bearded dragon and stick insects and am happy to care for any animal with the right instructions! I’m capable of bathing any pet that requires it, I can also carry out nail trims for guinea pigs as this is something I had to do a lot when I was rescuing them. I usually work in an early years setting with young children but as it’s now the summer holidays all I’m doing is planning for my wedding (exciting I know!!) so have plenty of time to care for any pet that needs it! I’m happy to take on multiple and can come to your home if needed but due to my own pets I’d rather it be my own home however this is something I’m more than happy to discuss! I love walking and playing with dogs and cats too! Smaller animals are just as fun. I have a fully enclosed fenced back garden to keep your pet safe. I have a very friendly dog and two cats to keep your pet company. I’m happy to adapt to your pet whatever their needs are. I live near the honiton bottom estuary so they’re are plenty of nice walks and am familiar with many areas in Devon and Cornwall! I’m pretty flexible at the moment but rest assured whatever is decided all I want just like you is for your pet to feel safe and comfortable and you feel at ease about it. More than happy to arrange meet and greets to get to know each other or go on dog walks together previously.

“Charlotte came to meet our two 8 week old Sprocker puppies as we needed an extra pair of hands for a couple of forthcoming occasions. Lovely lady, clearly a dog lover and knowledgeable. Thanks.”

“I'm really happy with how well Lydia looked after my cat Ozzy. Lydia kept me up to date with how he was doing and listened to my endless worries before coming to stay with him. Thank you :)”

“Briony, a delight to meet, clearly used to dogs, she was most helpful over access arrangements, her hour with Elsa made a worthwhile difference with Elsa's separation issues. Will definitely be using Briony again”

About: Animals have always been a large part of my life, and I spent my younger years dog-sitting/cat-sitting for friends and family and helping at the stables whenever I could. This led me to complete a degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy, which allows me to help injured and senior pets regain/maintain their mobility and quality of life. Throughout this time I also worked part time at a boarding kennels and cattery so I am confident handling dogs/cats of any size and temperament. I have recently started a part-time job as a Veterinary Physiotherapist and Canine Hydrotherapist at a centre in Okehampton. Therefore, I am away for most of the day on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, as well as an occasional half day on Saturday. This means I'm more suitable for dogs used to being left alone, or shorter sits over the weekends when I'm free. Despite my schedule, I'm still able to provide 2 decent walks a day and plenty of cuddles in the evening. If you would like to book a massage for your pet during their stay please message me for more details. (Pets with pre-existing/ongoing conditions require vet referral) I am currently located at a plant nursery on a quiet country lane, surrounded by farmland and scenic walks, therefore, I can provide plenty of varied exercise for your dog. However, this does mean there are no fences or gates, so information on your dogs recall and prey drive is very important to ensure I can be safe when they stay with me. This is why I sometimes prefer to use a long-line lead when out as it allows freedom and safety for your pet simultaneously (although I have experience with other training equipment such as halti's if this is what you would normally use). I have no pets myself however my landlord has an old springer (Ozzy) and a young cocker (Charlie) in the main house and they are allowed to roam free around the property. Both are friendly but Ozzy does like to come over for some peace and quiet in the evenings, so if you think this may be an issue please book me for a house sit instead. When caring for your pets I try to keep their regular routine in place to minimise stress and disruption while you are away. Most importantly I try to make all visits (whether long or short) a fun and pleasant experience.

About: I’m always the first one family and friends call if there going away and need their dogs looked after, as i treat theirs like my own and take them out on regular long walks in the day. Im currently on a gap year, so i have more free time to do what i love. I like to travel a lot even to different cities in the UK, so dog sitting in different areas would be something i would like to fit in when going away. If i was dog boarding in the owners home i would be respectful of the place and keep it tidy and following any specific instructions if any.

About: Hello My name's Angie & I am 56 years old. We moved to Sidmouth in Spring last year, love being close to the beach & nature. Absolutely perfect for dog walks in the countryside or at the coast. I previously ran my own business providing inventory services for letting agents but my love has always been for animals & the outdoors. I am lucky enough to be able to work part-time, hence starting dog drop in services. When we moved to Sidmouth I found it difficult to find somebody for ad hoc drop ins if I needed to go somewhere that wasn't dog friendly. I love all breeds of dogs but have a special connection with German Shepherd dogs. As a child my parents took on an ex police dog, he couldn't be trained as was not aggressive. Myself & husband took on an 8 week German Shepherd puppy & had the most amazing fun and adventures with him. He enjoyed many holidays in France & Spain with us and was a huge part of our lives. We lost Benson in October last year at the age of 12, his health issues finally got the better of him. Therefore, I have experience of senior dogs & the challenges they face in later years. 6 weeks ago we took on an 8 month old rescue puppy called "Ella". Despite her uncertain start in life she is turning out to be an amazing loyal dog & full of mischief! I have previously volunteered for the "Cinnamon Trust" which is an amazing charity which enables old people to keep their dogs with them even though they are not capable of walking them anymore. I have been DBS checked, hold a Canine first aid certificate & Public Liability Insurance. If you need any further info or would like to arrange a meet then please do get in touch. I promise to care for any dog in my care as if it was my own. Angie I have no other work commitments so am often available at short notice. Due to having a young dog at home I am only currently able to offer drop in services. I would ensure that your dog was always safe & happy whilst in my care. I would also respect your property as if it was my own.

About: Hello! My name is Emily and I am 20. I have grown up with a terrier-spaniel cross breed since I was 7 and I have knowledge in puppy care and high senior care because of this! Comforting my dog in her last days of life has been an honour, and I wish to comfort any age of animal for however long I can because I know how deeply important it is for that pet to feel positivity, fun and love. I have a full clean UK driving license and a provisional moped license. Currently volunteering at the Cats Protection League in Exeter. Furthermore; I have fostered with Feline Network (July24-January25). My puppy care consists of keeping them busy, playing, walking, letting them rest, feeding them and to keep them safely socialised. I am also comfortable with cleaning up messes! My senior care for dogs consist of handling the animal comfortably, playing when they aren't too tired to, feeding them, helping with medication feeding and giving them some patient walks or garden time. I also have general other pet care considering hamsters, guinie pigs, rabbits, chickens, fish and others. I have many days and nights free to pet sit and socialise. I am currently working close to full time with split shifts but with your dates and timings I could alternatively easily help out:) I am able to crate your dog if need be. Give them consistent walks, toilet breaks and play time whilst dog sitting. I would easily keep a close eye on pets to always check in on them especially if they have any health issues, but also in social interactions to keep them and others safe. I would also keep all dogs on a lead for walks unless told or agreed with otherwise.

About: Have taken care of animals since I was younger, from walking and bathing to clipping nails and grooming. Playing and walking, if it involves an animals I love to do it. Currently part time working so have lots of time to play with dogs, cats, any other animals that need company to! Happy to pop in to let them out and give them or a fuss or spend the night with them so they don't feel alone! I am a guest in their home, I will work with the environment that is provided for your pets and do my best to keep their routine as normal as possible, it can be stressful for you and your animal when you're away, so let's take that stress away from you both.

About: My name is Emily and I’m 21 studying law. I have a chocolate Labrador back at home and have grown up surrounded by dogs… from a Yorkshire Terrier to a Great Dane and New foundlands. I love dogs and think this is a great chance for me to go out on more walks and meet a few new 4 legged friends. I have looked after my senior dog who was 14 and a half when she passed when she developed artritis and found it hard even walking to the garden. I also have experience training a puppy. I have known Evie, a golden labrador since she was 8 weeks old and have been puppy sitting, training, playing with and feeding/ walking her even now she is 8 months old. She is now off lead trained as well and is very well behaved. I walk my dog every day at home so miss that aspect when living in Bristol. My dog is full of energy and I love to play with her and burn off that energy so I am happy for a lively dog to keep me entertained or a calm older dog to just give some exercise and extra attention. I think these past experiences and my adoration and love for dogs makes me perfect to look after your best friend and I would love to meet them and help you out! Thank you! Emily x I am in uni 12 hours a week so am entirely flexible in catering to what is best for you and your dog(s) and can work with you to find the best timings and days. I have a fenced off garden, large tiled kitchen and big grass area which is perfect for an active dog. I also live very close to a large park which is perfect for taking your dog on a walk in a big open space to let them burn off some energy and exercise.

About: I have owned rabbits, ducks, horses, dogs and cats since I moved in with my partner 10 years ago. I am currently studying dog training to help other owners walk and train their dogs to be well rounded sociable pets. I have a high energy, over reactive pointer and have recently fostered Dachshund who is also over reactive. We are working on them being well rounded balanced dogs. I enjoy long walks working on helping dogs fulfill their needs to help owners enjoy them as family pets. I currently work part time at The Donkey Sanctuary so have the flexibility to walk mornings, lunchtimes and afternoon/ evenings with my own dogs. We have a 2 year old daughter who sometimes comes with us depending on times. I have 2 dogs who are crated when relaxing and a fenced in garden living next to a field for walking and close to the commons for long adventures.

About: Dogs and cats have been in my life for over 20 years. I currently have two kittens and a 16 year old Border Collie. I have previously had a rescue Border Collie in my family, a boy who needed special care day and night. I love all animals and am involved in the protection of wildlife and their habitats. I’m self employed so have flexibility in my working day. I have a car so getting about is no problem, speak to me and I’ll try and accommodate requests where I can. At present I’m offering just a drop in service but this may change in the future, at which point I will provide the safest environment possible. In terms of trustworthiness, my day job clients trust me with keys to their homes so that speaks volumes. I’m happy to provide references to my trustworthiness.
