About: I am studying Zoology at University, and have a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management with D*D*D* which had numerous modules including animal handling, and husbandry. I also have a Dog Walker Qualification at Level 2 Merit, this course included Canine First Aid, Canine Aggression and Canine Body Language. I have always loved animals and have always been asked by neighbours and friends to look after their pets whilst away, feed them when they are out, and walk them when they are busy. I'm currently in my third year at university and only go in a few days a week, usually in the morning, leaving me with a fairly open schedule. I can also see when I am scheduled to go to university in advance. If you are training you're dog I will be able to help reinforce the training and continue to teach them what you are whilst you are away using what ever reward your dog enjoys whether that is a treat, a toy, or even a pet. I can also enjoy playing with your dog with their toys, or a ball.

“Tatiana is a very lovely person who has an excellent rapport with my girl Ella! She stepped in last minute to walk Ella. Ella came back so happy I asked Tatiana if she would walk Ella on a regular. Would highly recommend Tatiana! So lucky she lives so close too!”

“Freya is absolutely lovely! She was kind, professional, and clearly has a natural way with dogs. Benicio enjoyed his time with her a lot - he came back happy and relaxed. I definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker. Thank you, Freya!”

About: If you really think about it, all animals want is to be loved and cared for (“and to be fed, duh!” - Cosmo, my cat, currently sitting on my lap as I write this). Hello! I’m Alex, a 31-year-old freelancer who is the annoying friend who will excitedly point out a cat or dog, even if we’ve literally just walked passed 3 others. I have always had a deep love for animals, particularly cats, as I have had seven over the years, but all animals are equally special to me. Show me a rat, dog, worm, elephant, pigeon or snake, and I’m instantly in love. I have years of experience looking after my own cats as well as family and friends’ pets, including dogs, hamsters, hedgehogs and more, so I would be honoured to meet your animal babies and take care of them whilst you’re away. Some quotes from recent clients: “Alex is my favourite babysitter, to the point where I actually wee myself every time I see her” - Coco, the 2 y/o dachshund. “My mum is the best because she would rather sit on the floor than move me when I’m asleep in her chair” - Bandit, the 3 y/o moggie. “I’ve known Alex since I was a puppy and still lose my mind when I hear her voice” - Bertie, the 15 y/o spoodle. “When I was poorly, my mummy was the smoothest and fastest pill-giver and, even though I scratched her sometimes, she still loves me endlessly” - Mowgli, the 3 y/o moggie. Having 4 cats of my own and being freelance means I can spend hours on end with my babies. There is of course the daily feeds, litter cleans and water top-ups, but the best time of day is sitting at my work computer, one cat on my lap, another by my feet and another in the doorway (number 4 cat likes to keep to herself more so I respect her space). As for your babies, I will ensure as much time as possible is carved into my day to spend time with them and keep them comfortable and happy. I take great joy in learning about how animals like to spend their days. Need space to themselves? I get it. Need lots of walks each day? I'll set my fitness tracker to marathon mode. Need to be petted for 3 hours straight and will have a strop if not? I'm the queen of non-stop love. I'm also aware that when looking after your pets, it's not just them I am mindful of. I will be entering your home, your safe space and I take that responsibility very seriously. Just let me know any specifics about your house and I will ensure everything is done by the book.

I also work with much older dogs who still need care and attention but aren’t able to go on long walks anymore, as well as young puppies. No matter what your pets needs I will make sure I can provide the right type of care to keep everyone safe, happy and healthy. I am happy to follow your directions for the specific care of your pet in your home and will always be professional and respectful of your home.

“Lily was great. Offered a meet and greet before which was really reassuring to us as first timers! She picked Macey up on time and Macey seemed to have had a great time from the pictures. Thanks Lily!”

About: I'm retired & have plenty of time on my hands. Over the years,I've had several dogs and built up a lot of experience with dogs. My time is my own. I set my own schedules and so can plan my week to fit around my dog walking or dog care. I have a large conservatory at the back of my house that leads out into a garden completely fenced in on all sides. Dogs can come and go.

“Katherine was really patient and friendly with our dog Luna. She clearly is very experienced with dogs and Luna warmed up to her quickly. We would definitely book her for a walk again”

About: I have looked after and owned dogs for all my life, I love caring for them and know what they need. I also have experience with puppies as my dog had 6 puppies when I was a teenager so know how to care for them. I have pet sat for many friends, family and others so have lots of experience. I’m currently a student, but finish end of May so have a lot of free time over the summer. I am planning on getting a job after the summer but will be dance teaching so will only be out of the house for 3 hours maximum a day/more in the evenings. I make sure that I listen to what you need in your home and the usual routine that your pets have, making sure I stick to that and anything else you ask for. I am also happy to walk dogs for however long they need and stay/pop in whenever asked. I am really caring for dogs and as mentioned have lots of experience both with my and my families dogs and others.

About: Hi! I'm a huge dog lover and have spent the last 11 years raising and caring for my own pup who unfortunately passed from cancer at age 14 in February. She was my best friend and we did everything together (my photos are only a select few of the last year of her life). The time I had with her taught me so much - how to be patient, how to read her moods, and how much love and attention she really needed (and deserved of course). I first learned about the app Rover when my dog and I lived in Vancouver, Canada and I would have to travel without her sometimes. It was nerve wracking having to leave her in the hands of someone else (in a place we weren’t familiar with), especially as she had a lot of specific requirements that had to be followed (such as medication and diet). So I completely understand firsthand just how important it is to feel safe and reassured that the person looking after your pet is someone you can trust that has both yours and your pets best interest at heart. That’s why I treat every pet like I would my own, with the same love and attention and care that allows them to feel comfortable, relaxed and safe when they are at what I’d like to think of as a ‘home away from home’. Whether they need someone to take them on log walks, give copious amounts of belly rubs and cuddles, or just someone to hang out and keep them company - I understand each dog is just as unique as their needs. I have my own fully fenced and secure garden that they are free to roam in and out of at their own leisure (I can leave the door wide open for them if required). I am also more than happy to have them upstairs, on carpets or on the furniture/bed etc, especially if they need some extra snuggles 🥰 I work fully remote from my house as a Finance Manager and I am around 24/7. Pet care is a regular part of my routine, and I really enjoy it. My job also has flexible hours, so I can plan my day around feeding, walks, playtime, and anything else your pet needs. It keeps me active and brings a lot of joy to my otherwise rather mundane day (finance is not the most riveting of careers haha). If your pet is staying at my place, I make sure they have a cozy, safe space to settle in. I stick to their usual routine as much as possible - feeding, walks, playtime, and even little quirks like how they like to sleep or what toy they love most. I also make sure they get plenty of affection (if they want it!) and exercise. If I am looking after a pet in their home, I follow instructions closely to keep things familiar for your pet. I try to keep their routine the same so they feel comfortable while their family is away. I’m respectful of the home and keep everything clean and tidy. I also like to send photo or text updates so you know your pet is happy and in good hands. At the end of the day, I just want every pet I care for to feel safe, loved, and stress-free, and for you to feel at ease too.

About: Over the past year I have gained experience in dog care working at my local dog kennels. Working there, I met a lot of different temperaments and breeds of dog and had to learn about how to personalise your care for the different types of dogs and their needs. I dealt with feeding time, medication, play time and hygiene such as grooming, poo picking and cleaning up after them. Although we never had a dog growing up, I have a lot of love for them and always enjoyed going round to friends and families houses to play with theirs and so I get a long with them well. We did however have a cat growing up for a short period. He was an older cat that someone had to sell on and we miss him alot. I feel very comfortable around cats and absolutely love playing with them or just chilling with them. I realise cats don't take as much time to care for as dogs and drop in visits would probably suffice. I am happy to accept cats in my home for longer periods and would charge less accordingly. I have put down five years pet care experience as we have had numerous small pets over the years such as guinea pigs, fish and hamsters which needed attention and care. I have also looked after friends and families dogs, along with working at a dog kennels for a year so I feel it is an apt judgment of my experience. Thank you for considering me, and I hope to see you and your pets soon :) I am university student currently and looking to earn a bit of money but also experience looking after people's pets. During term time I attend University 4 times a week for a couple of hours and during the holidays I live in Cheltenham. If you require me to be at your house, home sitting, I will be available 24 hours minus these times I am at university and can be very flexible with my schedule around your pets needs. I am happy to do drop in visits or dog walks anytime as well as I have no other commitments. I am happy to come to your house to look after your dog or even for a visit to take them out for a walk. Let me know how they like to play and I will most likely spend the whole time having fun with them. I will make sure to keep them in their usual routine so they won't even realise your gone! I would like to take them for a walk somewhere a bit different than they are used to if you are comfortable with that as it can be a good opportunity for someone with the time to let you pet's have a real good explore. I love a long walk just as much as your furry friend. If I am looking after a cat, I will definitely let them sus me out before trying to introduce playing or being too tactile. It might take longer for a cat to adjust to a new person but I have the patience for it for sure.

I've looked after friends dogs and spent time walking dogs on borrow my doggy. I'm patient and comfortable with many animals, including cats, guinea pigs, rabbits etc. I am not currently in a position to have pets where I live. Hence, me offering this service to spend time with animals, and to give others piece of mind when away. I do have a job, which is why my free time is predominantly first thing in the morning, evening, Friday afternoons or weekends. I am happy to discuss possible lunch time drop ins via messenger.
