Dog Walking in Cardiff

About: I have always had a pet dog growing up, and owned a Patterdale Terrier called Esme, who very sadly passed away in April 2019 at the grand old age of 16 (we miss her dearly). We had her for 11 years and she was very much a beloved member of our family. She absolutely loved affection and walks and we enjoyed socialising her with our families pets. My son lives with me half of the week and his dad the other half of the week, so pls bear this in mind when requesting a booking and ensure that your dog is good with kids. I always recommend a meet and greet before a request is placed, preferably somewhere neutral. We also own a guinea pig who is housed indoors. Since mid April 2021 we started fostering and have since adopted a gorgeous Staffie called Roxy from Cardiff Dogs Home. She is an absolute dream with such a lovely temperament, and is excellent with kids and friendly with other dogs. Please also bear this in mind when requesting a booking. I work from home two days a week and am in the office two days a week (Fridays are my non working day). I am situated close to Roath Park and Waterloo Gardens. We also like to visit parks further afield and beaches, and will occasionally get out and about in the car on weekends. Any dog under our care will be treated as if they were our own! We love animals in this household and can guarantee your beloved pooch will go home very happy :-) As I work part time and half the time at home, I’ll be able to ensure your dog is well looked after and given all of the exercise and love they need. We usually walk Roxy either twice a day if they’re shorter walks, or one longer walk. I always ensure dogs are kept on the lead at all times when getting ready to leave the house for walks. Due to a separation, I’ve recently moved to an apartment but there is a large green area at the front of the property which my dog regularly frequents for walks and to do her business.

About: I have cared for dogs for a number of years and have been responsible for feeding, cleaning and exercising friends and family’s pets while they’ve been away on holiday. I am trustworthy with both owners and pets I am currently in my final year of university, so would be free in the evenings and weekends. With more notice I can be available for longer periods if needed I can easily create a safe space for pets in their own environment and when out and about. Utilising their home comforts is essential in creating a safe space for them when faced with new people and anxiety

About: All my life I’ve grown up with animals I’ve had 3 dogs 3 cats 2 gerbils and way too many fish to count!!!☺️ for the last 15 or so years of my life I’ve helped look after feed and walk my dogs from puppies and into their senior years and jump at the opportunity to look after my friends and families pets!!! I adore animals and I can’t wait to look after and provide the best care for your little fur babies❤️ I’m currently off work so im available to look after and play with your pets as long or as frequently as needed!!☺️ but when I do go back to work which isn’t set in stone yet I’ll be available as of evenings and weekends but im hoping to change that completely if things go the right way☺️ I have a fenced garden with 2 dogs and a cat already to keep your pet company and if your pet doesn’t get along with others I’ll be more than happy to stay at your house with your fur baby otherwise I have my own separate bedroom that I can shut the other dogs from gaining access too and I also have a crate so if they’re happy and feel safe with the crate I can use that for safety or simply any other instructions you provide on the safety of your fur baby I can do because they’re more than just pets to me they’re a part of our families

For example, I know that smaller dogs need extra warmth in winter, while larger dogs benefit from ample exercise space. I believe every animal is unique, and I strive to cater to their individual needs. ✨Energetic and Dedicated: I have plenty of energy and rarely get tired, so I can keep up with energetic dogs during playtime or walks, ensuring they get enough exercise and enjoyment. 🫡Reassurance: When caring for pets, I will keep owners updated with regular photos and short videos if they need , so they can feel connected to their pets even while away. I’m usually available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day to care for pets. For Dog Walking 🌳🦮 I will tailor outing based on the dog’s age, energy level, and personality, choosing safe, pet-friendly spots like local parks or green spaces. For younger or less active dogs, I opt for shorter, slower-paced routes, while more energetic dogs get longer walks to help them burn off energy. For Drop-In Visits 🏠🐕🐱 I‘ll make sure to follow the owner’s advice to keep the pet’s usual routine—whether it’s feeding, playtime, or rest. About: I grew up with a variety of pets from dogs to degus so I've been surrounded by animals my entire life. I have experience working in a kennels and a vets surgery alongside caring for dogs and cats through rover for the last 2/3 years. I work from home so I have a lot of flexibility when it comes to taking care of and playing with your pets both during the day and over night. I live in a flat with lots of space for your dogs to run around, with a great park right outside, and lots of nice walking routes nearby.
