About: I’ve always loved animals especially dogs and I treat them literally like fur babies! Ever since I was a young child I’ve had dogs around me and as pets. I use to always enjoy walking the neighbours dogs too. I’ve looked after friends and family’s pets numerous of times whilst they’ve been on holiday or just at work. I have a cocker spaniel of my own so he loves tagging along for the exercise and to socialise with other dogs! I’ve also helped friends when their dogs have had a litter. I helped them with feeding, toilet training and to keep clean. I’m currently working a 0 hour contract as a part time care assistant so I can be very flexible with time spent with your fur babies In my home I have a fenced garden with a locked gate to ensure safety the same goes for the back garden. When travelling with animals I will provide crates fitted correctly and also seatbelts for dogs that are not keen on crates

About: I graduated at Askham Bryan College in York in 2024 with a BSc Degree in Canine and Feline Behaviour and Welfare. I have experience in training a variety of dog breeds. I have taught puppy classes, and basic training for all ages, and have successfully trained multiple dogs in assistance work. I have gained knowledge and experience through looking after my previous employer's three dogs for lengths of time, providing all of the different care needs for each dog such as administering medication for the eldest dog with arthritis, specific and extra grooming needs for a show dog, and keeping the smaller dog separated from the others as requested when letting her out to the garden and when feeding. I am currently available for cat and dog sitting appointment and bookings, I specialise in training and welfare, and for the needs of cats and dogs requiring medication, such as insulin injections and/or tablets to be administered. I can work to any requirements provided by the owner. I can follow the usual routine for the cats if requested, or if the owner would feel better with keeping the cats indoors, or want them back in the house at specific times, I can keep the cats sufficiently occupied and exercised. I can walk the dogs as requested and within the enclosed space of their homes when out in the garden.

About: I've taken care of pets for 7 years now (including my own!) and regularly walk my family friend's dog, when the owner is unable to. I'm well versed with cleaning out litter trays, and like to make sure that pets are well entertained, loved, and cared for! I currently work full time however the majority of my time I work remotely, so can easily pop in to check on a pet, or stay in a home for any period! Once a month I will generally need to work from the office, but there are times when this doesn't happen anyway. Occasionally my work requires me to be out of town, but this is rare and can be discussed. I like to make sure pets are kept within the safety of a home's confines & garden, but like to let pets have their freedom within this! Anything small that might be accidentally swallowed I like to keep out of pets' ways.

About: Hello! My name is Jane and I am a dog walker and pet sitter. I have worked for the past 12 years as an animal care lecturer, as an animal management keeper, and worked in a large aquatics pet store, so I have a broad range of experience. In 2024 I decided that I wanted to use my experience with animals and work for myself. Having needed dog walking and pet services myself in the past and struggled to find someone local that could rely on, I know how worrying it can be to find the right person to care for my animals whilst I am not at home. The person I would be hiring would be responsible for two things I care about the most, my pets and my home. I therefore aim to provide a reliable and reassuring pet care service for all owners to help alleviate some of these worries. I am fully insured with PetPlan Sanctuary and have been trained in Canine First Aid (iPet Level 3). I also have an enhanced DBS check available for clients to view, so you can be assured you have someone trustworthy caring for your pets. I can provide regular or one-off dog walking and a variety of pet care services in your home (including one-off or regular visits, and overnight stays). I can even clean and maintain your aquarium for you, both freshwater and marine. I care for the pets of others nearly full time so I can fit in pet care services very flexibly. I also work part time shifts caring for an exotic animal collection at a local college and can usually fit in pet visits and overnight stays around this. Pets are cared for with their own comfort, and peace of mind of the owner, at the heart of the routine. As much as possible I try to ensure the pet's normal routine is not disturbed, which can help many pets when their owners are away. This is especially true for nervous cats and shy dogs who often need their own space, and I try not to pressure them into being in my company if they do not want it. On the other hand, confident cats and dogs can always get the scritches, belly rubs and play time they ask for! I try to wind this down in the late evening to ensure that pets know it is coming towards bed time. I believe it is very important to respect pets and owners boundaries. For example, if they're not allowed on the sofa with you, they're not with me either. This is all talked through at the meet and greet I insist on arranging before every booking to make sure we're all on the same page and the pets can meet me at least once before I stay with them. Rest assured your sofa will remain pet-hair free during any stay if that is your preference. When undertaking overnight stays with dogs, I try to pop by at least once during the day for a toilet break. Because I have other dog walking and pet visit commitments I can't always be there a lot of the day at the home, but ensure I pop by at least once in between my other commitments. For other animals (cats or other small pets) I do not usually do this unless needed for their health and wellbeing. I try to have a minimal impact on the owner's home when staying overnight. I bring my own ready-made food, my own bedding, and even my own entertainment. There's nothing more of a chore than coming home from holiday to clean extra bedding along with your own holiday laundry!

About: I love animals to bits and admire them all I can. I use to foster a dog for a few months and we created a beautiful bond with so many lovely memories. My cousin's use to have a dog and I would occasionally look after him as well, he was a bit aggressive but with patience and love, he was a lovely. I have had hamsters so I know how important it is to give animals their space and to have patience to form a connection. Right now, my sister has a Syrian hamster, she is the only pet we have. I am a first year university student in Manchester but I have a lot of free time now that first year has come to an end. I do have a part time job at a cafe and will update my availability as soon as I get my rotas. Other than that, I am very flexible! I have a garden that is fenced up to ensure safety - the only thing would be that the garage roof it attached to the top part of my garden. But I will be keeping an eye and spending time with your pet so that they don't come across it.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs most of my life for friends and family and have worked at a dog boarding kennels for 3 years working with all kinds of dog breeds and I studied dog behaviour, nutrition and management including housing and healthcare I’m currently working part time between 8-10am and 3-5pm so I’m available most days in between, if you are okay with your dog/dog’s being left for 2 hours morning and afternoon. In your home I will listen and follow all instructions to keep your pet safe and happy this will extend to outside the home on walks. Unfortunately i cannot have your pet in my home as I have a reactive dog and wouldn’t want to put another animal in danger or distress.

About: I used to spend the summers volunteering for the RSPCA at kennels, so I’ve cared for every pet under the sun! Babies, seniors and ill cats all require a lot of time and attention which I’m happy to give! I work hybrid and my work hours are very flexible so it’s very easy for me to come during whatever hours are needed! I also have a car making transportation not an issue I have a fenced yard in a closed off one way street so there are limited cars nearby apart from the neighbours! I am a qualified midwife. So not only do I love my fur babies but I bring real babies into the world. I work shift work but only 3 days a week so have 4 days free to love your fur babies as much as I love mine! My dog has free rein of the house. He sleeps on our bed and knows no where is off limited. Any dog is welcome to sleep on our sofa aswell, I believe a pet is as much part of the family as anyone else. I have a big garden which is fully secure with 6ft walls, the garden is packed with toys (as my dog takes them out and does not bring them back)

About: We have had dogs in the family since I was 12 years old. My currrent pooch Messie is a 14 year old cocker spaniel full of life. He gets walked three times a day and constant access to an enclosed back garden with grass 🐶 I work from home Mon-Weds, I am only in the office on Thursdays. I don’t work Fri-Sun, I can be very flexible! I work as a therapist for the NHS so I have an enhanced DBS check etc. My current pooch can be present to keep your dog company, they will never be left alone.
