“Margot seemed to warm to Heidi very quickly which is something we haven’t found before usually she hides under the bed when meeting new people.”

“Caitlin was brilliant with our cats. Will definitely book again with her in the future, just hoping she’ll be available then 😊 Thank you very much.”

“I have used Paige and her partner's services multiple times on Rover, and they are fab! I have a senior blind dog who requires multiple medications and additional care, and he has always been well taken care of! My dog can be prone to separation anxiety too, but he has been so calm when I return that I'm starting to think he likes Paige and her partner better than me lol!”

“Olha was fantastic with Archies’ drop in visits! I appreciated all the updates received, he was really relaxed and at ease. Excellent communication; Olha goes out of her way to make visits a positive reassuring experience. I will definitely be hoping to ask Olha to look after Archie again in the future:)”

About: Hi, I’m Chelsea. I’m 28 and recently moved back to Northern Ireland after spending nine years in London. While I was there, I spent three brilliant years on Rover, looking after all sorts of dogs with all sorts of personalities. I grew up with dogs and had my own, Dougal, who sadly passed away a few years ago. Since then, I’ve found real joy in helping other people care for their pups and I treat every one of them like they’re my own. I know how important it is for dogs to feel safe, settled, and happy, especially when they’re away from home; and how important it is for you to have peace of mind knowing your dog will be looked after just how you would! Whether your dog needs a long walk with lots of sniffing, loves a bit of fetch, or just wants to snooze beside someone on the sofa, I’ll make sure they feel completely comfortable and cared for. I’m not just someone who shows up and walks your dog. I’m genuinely dog obsessed and love getting to know all their little quirks and routines. I’m reliable, patient, and happy to follow whatever works best for your dog to make sure they feel relaxed and content. Every day looks a little different, but your dog will always get plenty of attention, exercise, and downtime. I live right beside the Comber Greenway, so we start the day with a proper walk along the path to get some fresh air and sniffing in. If I am heading into the office, we walk in together. It takes about 35 minutes each way, so your dog will get a good stretch in both the morning and evening. My office is fully dog friendly with beds and bowls already there, so there is no need to pack anything. Dogs I care for are always by my side getting plenty of fuss throughout the day. If I am working from home, it is even cosier with more time for cuddles between emails. Afterwards we’ll head home and get some dinner and watch a movie or two before a bedtime walk and then get ready for sleep! My home in Belfast is clean, secure, and fully dog friendly with no hazards, no hidden snacks, and nothing within chewing distance!! I supervise the dogs I sit at all times! (They’re stuck with me ha!) I also work in a dog-friendly office, so your pup will never be left alone if I do have to go into the office, they’ll be with me throughout the day, getting plenty of company and attention. I’m cautious on walks and always on the lookout to make sure they don’t eat or roll in anything dodgy. (If they do that’s followed swiftly with a big bath!) I know every dog has their own personality and needs, so I’m happy to work together with you to make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and right at home with me.

About: I had a dog for 17 years from I was 6. In more recent years I’ve dog sat for friends. I love all dogs and they take very well to me. I enjoy long walks and dog friendly cafes. I work shift work so I have 4 days off a week including weekdays, where I should be available all day. Happy to work round your busy working week! I have a closed off yard but also live near multiple parks for more space. I will always ensure the safety of your pet and listen to your concerns.

About: Consistently had dogs and cats in my life through family dogs, as well as friends who often trust me with their precious paws. I used to be a dog groomer too, for four years. Monday & Tuesdays are free all day. During the week only evenings are free including Friday. Weekends are free with advance notice of booking from yourself, if booking it out with one day drop me a message and I will see if I can accommodate 😃 I have a large fenced garden, and a grass area available. If at your home I will be on hand and happy to adhere to your schedule/care routine.

“Caitlin did an amazing job looking after my cat! The photos she sent were excellent, and I could see Tom was having fun during her visits. It was reassuring to know he was in good hands. Communication was clear throughout the entire process. Will definitely rebook. Highly recommend!" 👍🐱📸”

About: 🐶 I've grown up around dogs my whole life! From my own pets, to dog sitting for friends and neighbors, and finally working at my dream doggy daycare job for 2 years, I've loads of animal care experience! ✅ Experience with both puppies and senior dogs. Experience administering meds orally and topically. Experience with specialized diets. Experience walking, in home pet-sitting, and play relief. 😁 I'm a part time student at Queen's Uni studying poetry! I live in the city centre and have plenty of weekday and weekend availability. I'd be happy to schedule a meet & greet to make you and your pup more comfortable before booking any services! 📚 I'm a part time student at Queen's University so I only have classes midday Monday-Wednesday. I have availability on those days outside of class, and an open schedule Thursday-Sunday. I can do walks and pet owner's house sits at any point throughout the week as well as drop in visits if necessary! 🏠 Unfortunately, I cannot have pets in my student living accommodation, but I have tons of experience house sitting within the pet owner's home. I find that dog's tend to be more comfortable in their own environment, and I am more than happy to provide relief walks and adhere to any specific feeding schedule/restrictions as well as administer medication.

“Barney and I love Chanice she's kind, friendly and obviously enjoys doggies. Its been tough for Barney and I recently I lost my husband and beloved cat Brian was always home and it's been great having someone look after Barney so well one thing less for me too worry about”

“Leeanne is kind and reliable and I have lost count the amount of times we have re-booked her to look after our two little fur babies! She is easy to contact, communicates well and always highly recommend her service!”

About: I was previously a dog/cat sitter and have looked after disabled dogs to dogs that just need a run around the park! I have experince in a range of breeds from great Danes to pugs and know how to tailor the experince to make your animal a little less sad when they're missing you! I only work part time around university. Pet sitting/ drop ins are a lovely way to earn more money while enjoying my tome and surrounding myself with things I love- animals. It's a win-win situation I dont offer over night stays mainly because of my two cats however they are dog friendly! They have been around multiple dogs from kitten to age 6 and mostly just ignore them in favour of their cat trees. I will send regular updates and photos because I know how anxious you can get away from your animals and I'm happy to accommodate any extra needs

About: Hey my name is Josh. Me and my Partner are based in Belfast. We both have a massive love for dogs. We’ve looked after dogs since we both were children. We are our family and friend’s main dog minders for holidays. We’re both dog obsessed and love having them around. We promise to keep owners informed with regular pupdates, photos, and video. We live a 5 minute walk from a park which we regularly use for our dog walks and have various other areas we take them. We’re big advocates for using Wild River Dog park regularly for a safe space for all dogs. We will provide exercise and playtime tailored to each pet's energy level and needs and to help create a calm and soothing environment for anxious or stressed pets All bookings will be confirmed after a successful meet and greet between pets I currently work from home full time. I’ve full flexibility for attending your dogs needs for exercises and activities. I normally do 2-3 walks per day. Currently have a one year old Cocker Spaniel to keep your fur baby company. I have a fenced back and small front garden. I have 2 parks near us where we walk our dog. I also have regular visits to Wild River Dog and Stormont

About: I’ve been around dogs since forever as we have always had dogs in my childhood home. All my family members also have dogs and my sister works for the local dog shelter back home so I have constantly had dogs in and out of my home. Since moving to Belfast I haven’t had the opportunity to have my own dog so I would love the opportunity to dog sit and dog walk. I also previously dog walked in my neighbourhood and dog sat for some families while studying abroad. I have a lot of free time for animals at the moment as I am currently studying a masters online while working part time hours beside my house. My back garden has a bordered fence around it and the house has been newly renovated. The dogs safety and well-being would be my number priority while they stayed so I would make my home feel like theirs.

About: I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m dependable, loving, and genuinely enjoy creating a bond with pets that I am looking after. I prioritize communication with owners and aim to provide a calm, positive, and enriching experience for every animal. Whether your pet is high energy or prefers quiet companionship, I adjust my approach to ensure they feel secure and loved! As a student currently on summer break, I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time and energy to pet care. I’m available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, or extended visits, and I can easily adjust my routine to meet each pet’s needs. This flexibility means I can be consistent, reliable, and fully present during every visit, whether it’s an early morning walk or afternoon playtime. I love spending my free time with animals, especially since my furry best friend lives back home in Canada, so taking care of your pets is a perfect fit for me during my break. For dog walking, I tailor each walk to the dog’s energy level, age, and comfort. Whether it’s a short potty break or a longer, more active outing, I ensure they get the exercise and stimulation they need. I always walk dogs safely on-leash, avoid high-traffic areas when needed, and keep a close eye on weather conditions to make sure walks are enjoyable and safe. When caring for pets in a pet owner’s home, I make it a priority to follow their usual routines as closely as possible. I stick to feeding schedules, walk times, and any special instructions provided, whether it’s administering medications, maintaining crate routines, or giving extra playtime. I respect the home and leave it just as I doing it, and I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. No matter the setting, I communicate clearly with pet owners and provide regular updates and photos to give peace of mind while they’re away.

“Naomi Jane did a brilliant job. Hugo was very happy when we came back and was well fed and comfortable. Naomi sent us videos and pictures which was very reassuring.”

About: I love animals, and volunteered with the shelter Almost Home. On an average shift I was feeding/cleaning up after/playing with/giving medications to a few dozen dogs of all breeds - from tiny chihuahuas to giant mastiffs. Working in rescue I have plenty of experience with nervous dogs and have a pretty good track record of making them feel more at ease with a bit of time (and chicken!) I'm a student but from mid May, my schedule is pretty flexible until September and I can walk/play/feed etc whenever necessary, so house sitting and drops ins is ideal for me. I cannot have pets in my accommodation as I rent, but am happy to care for your pet in your home however you normally would so their routine is kept as normal as possible. If you would like updates, I'm happy to send as many as you would like for peace of mind and photos of what they're getting up to.

About: I've been surrounded by animals my whole life, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. For the past two years, I've looked after a puppy named Kylo whenever her family goes on holiday. That experience has deepened my love for animals and inspired me to help more pet owners who need someone they can trust. I genuinely enjoy walking dogs—not just for the exercise, but because seeing how much joy they get from it is incredibly rewarding. I am currently working part time in a restaurant at the weekend in the evening, and I have also just finished my degree in fine art so I have a lot of spare time during the week and mornings for walks. I live in accommodation in the heart of Belfast city centre, which makes it easy for me to reach clients quickly and reliably. While I’m unable to offer pet sitting at home, I focus fully on dog walking and make sure each walk is safe, fun, and tailored to your dog’s needs. I’ve had plenty of experience caring for dogs and love giving them the exercise and attention they deserve.

Chelsea W.
“Chelsea has been looking after my dog Buddy for the better part of three years. She is a lovely and hard working girl who very much cares for him and they have a very good connection. Buddy is a very lively and active dog who requires a lot of outdoor exercise and she regularly takes him on the long walks he requires. She has also gone above and beyond the role I would expect of a dog sitter as she cared for Buddy when he was ill, making sure that he stuck to the strict vet prescribed diet and took his medicine. His medical needs are ongoing and she continues to cater to them as they change. She really does a fantastic job and I could not recommend her enough. 5 star service every time and you can tell she really loves the job.”

Katherine P.
“Katherine would regularly dog sit and walk our two year old Chocolate Labrador! Katherine has done a fantastic job with supporting us looking after our dog since she was only 4 months old. Katherine is friendly, approachable and maintains very good communication. Our dog loves going with her! We would highly recommend!!”

“Naomi Jane did a brilliant job. Hugo was very happy when we came back and was well fed and comfortable. Naomi sent us videos and pictures which was very reassuring.”

Poppi D.
“Poppi has sat for me quite a few times, and each time, I've been able to go on my trips stress free because I know my little kitty is in safe hands She kept me up to date on my kitty and how she was, and fussed over her. I was sent videos of them playing, and Poppi took the time to give my anxious cat the comfort she needed while I was away. Each time I've returned, my kitty has been well looked after, happy and the house has always been clean. She's really given me the opportunity to go off on my trip and not worry because I know the cat was in safe hands. Would recommend Poppi if you're looking to be stress free and to come back to a happy pet”

Madison H.
“Madison is not only a reliable, caring and trustworthy friend but also the best pet sitter I’ve had yet! Madison looked after my beagle, Poppy, for a weekend. Poppy is an old dog with additional needs (medication, very specific food needs, etc) and Madison met those needs perfectly. Poppy is wary of new people and can take time to warm up to them but felt comfortable and safe with Madison as soon as they met. I would recommend Madison to anyone and would feel more than happy to leave Poppy in her care again.”
