“Kirsten is wonderful, she came to do a meet and greet and it was clear the dogs both liked her (and one of my dogs is picky). She walked and played with them, and sent lots of great pictures. Will be using her regularly.”

“I thought Erica was awesome! My dog did, too! Not only did she walk him, she allowed him to play with a lab of similar age & when my dog returned, he was actually exhausted!!! I thought it could not be done. Thank you, Erica! I highly recommend her!!!”

“Alex is great with my dog Bo and I suspect, all dogs. Her walks with him are also positive reinforcement sessions that build his confidence as well as exercise him. She leaves detailed reports of how he did and what they did every time. I feel like she genuinely cares about my dog and takes great care of him while I'm away.”

“My Bear loves Holly! She has always arrived on time and always sends pictures of their walks. I needed her once last minute and she accepted my request. Holly truly is the best and I appreciate her more than she knows!”

“Eric was able to walk Tugboat on short notice. So helpful and kind. I appreciated the help. Eric also was able to get Tugboat to not be interested in pulling. Can't thank Eric enough. Tugboat was always excited to see Eric and knew the time was coming. Can't recommend Eric enough.”

“Tessa takes great care of Dash! She always communicates effectively, is easy to work with and always keeps me updated on how Dash is doing. Would highly recommend!”

“Stefanie was absolutely amazing with our two mutts. One of them is more mellow and the other is a very feisty young puppy, so it can be interesting walking them both. She quickly picked up on their different temperaments and approached them accordingly. She texted adorable updates and pictures for each walk. She was also so considerate she even offered to clean up the floor a bit since the walks were very muddy. Not only is she extremely reliable, she went above and beyond offering to help since we had a water leak but were out of state. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone.”

“Jennifer is so attentive to details and has great communication! She has come to walk our dog briar and let her out to use the restroom and sends me the cutest rover cards of briar! She is so sweet and we will keep coming back to her!”

“Lauren has been fantastic! Like many pup owners, my dog is like a child to me. Lauren has great communication skills (a must) and goes that extra mile each visit. So glad we found her to help brighten Roxie's day!”

About: I have had dogs, cats, and rabbits in my adult life and had dogs growing up. I just lost my 12 year old senior dog, sweet Mayble, a week ago. Mayble required extensive medical attention as she had kidney disease, a herniated disc that made it difficult to walk, arthritis, and allergies. She required daily medication for her ailments, She also needed frequent potty breaks, extra water, and extra care going up and down stairs and up onto the couch. I had to be in-tune with her if her little body was getting tired from a walk, I also currently have rabbits who require litter cleanings, hay, pellets, lettuce, and socialization, I’m currently in the process of bonding my 2 rabbits which requires a lot of time and patience. In a personal note, I’m a 37 year old single female who works in the education system. I am mature, capable, and responsible and would take care of your precious fur babies as if they were my own. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask! Currently I’m on Summer vacation until the beginning of August so, unless I’m going somewhere to camp overnight, My schedule is very open right now! I can care for young animals all the way up to senior animals. I am available for drop-ins, walking, or even house sitting. Let me know what you need! 😊

“Izzy was very sweet, prompt and communicative with pics and messages - one of my pups was a sad baby and wouldn’t come out of hiding to go walk (not Izzy’s fault at all!) but the other pup was thrilled to be out and about with her. Will book with her again!”

About: Aside from being raised with cats and dogs and everything in between I have had the great opportunity of working as a pack leader at a doggy day care- a job that I thoroughly enjoyed and did well in. I was able to learn skills ranging from enriching a dogs life through play time, correcting and rewarding behavior, and keeping a safe environment that was shared with multiple dogs. I currently have a lot of free time with my current job and have been wanting to fill this time with something that I enjoy. I am most available in the early mornings and later evenings and completely free Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Please refer to this schedule below!! Only free Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturday all day On days, not listed only free after 7 PM Currently I only have a cat who is roughly 2 1/2 years old. My home is filled with cat towers and couple cat trees and hideaways to make sure she lives an interesting life. I give her lots of play time and make sure she is well taken care of and loved always! I would do the same for any dog and cat left in my care.

About: Hello, I’m Alyssa Kristiansen I reside in Anchorage, Alaska. I started dog walking and dog sitting when I was 12. I worked at doggy day care and got certified as canine first aid. Overall I love taking care of dogs and puppy’s when you are out at work or as well as vacation etc! I do this full time so I have a wide range of availability. I come in throughout the day to make sure your dog is well walked and hydrated When I take care of your dog, I make sure that they are safe by carrying bear spray on our walks. I always ask if they behave well around other dogs when I take them to the dog park or on the trails.

About: I’m your dog’s new best friend! From puppy love to senior snuggles, I offer personalized care, fun walks, and plenty of love—plus I’m trained in pet first aid for extra peace of mind! I love working with dogs immensely and can't wait to meet your fur babies! :) I am currently working part-time at an antique shop in Wasilla. I am available mainly anytime of the week as my job is very flexible. Am also willing to commute to Anchorage/Palmer/Eagle River for services. Some things that I like to do, depending on the dog, is engage play time with brain enriching such as, lick mats, nose work games, dog puzzles and more! I really enjoy going on walks often which can also be a brain enrichment activity for your fur baby. I am aware that some, if not most, dogs have set in schedules. I am more than willing to go by that so your fur baby is comfortable and still on schedule while you are away. I often send pictures of my clients' pets to my client so they can also have some peace of mind!

“She is an absolute sweetie. My mother and I both work on the Alaska slope and new to the area. We have two cats and a dog and they all adore her. She is super sweet and gives each pet attention and love and we can tell she really cares about animals. I would definantly recommend her to anyone needing their pet watched and plan to continue employing her to care for our pets.”

Maia J.
“I wanted to recommend my friend, Maia, for your dog-sitting needs. They have a natural love for animals and extensive experience caring for dogs of various breeds. Here are a few reasons why I believe they’d be a great fit: Experience: Maia has been taking care of dogs for 2 and a half years and is comfortable with both small and large breeds. Reliable & Trustworthy: She is highly dependable and ensure that pets receive the proper care, exercise, and attention. Flexible: She has a flexible schedule and can adapt to specific needs, such as administering medication, walking routines, or special diets. I trust Maia completely with my own pets, and I’m confident she'd provide excellent care for yours.”
