About: Hello! I'm Ashley. I am 34 years old. I am from Stuart, FL. I am working in Bar Harbor for the summer from April to October. I have always been an animal lover and if I could afford a farm and have every type of animal in it... I would. I have owned, dogs, fish, and birds. I have had dogs most of my life. I had a Jack Russell who lived to be 11 years old named Romeo...He was a ball of energy, he had eye problems and needed drops daily. I also had a Rat Terrier named Oliver, we bought him at a year old. He lived to be 14 years old. Most recently my sister currently has a mini golden doodle, who is 4 years old. I loved taking my dogs on the trails in the parks. If I didn’t travel so much, I would love a dog of my own. I work seasonal contract jobs outside the National parks, mainly in the summer season. I go walking everyday & I would love to bring your pup with me. I am renting a place with other people so I would have to go to their home. I am very attentive and can play with them in the yard or whatever is asked.

I am more than happy to help with all pet care needs, from puppy pads to pills, and maybe even a scaly friend or two. :) I work 8-5 Sat-Tues and 12-9 on Fri, but have Wednesday and Thursday off each week. I am happy to treat your fur babies to the finest care during the day, overnight, while you are on vacation, or once in awhile for walks, hikes, check ins, at your place or mine! A popular request this summer has been from folks on visiting who would like me to day sit at their campground/rv/hotel/air bnb while they enjoy the park, biking, boating or going out to eat. For boarding, My husband and I have a wonderful centrally located home in the Acadia region off the island. We have a fenced in yard and can take the stress out of leaving your pets while on vacation. Pick up and drop off can be arranged at the head of the island if requested. Wedding or event coming up? I can be your pets chaperon then too, just ask :) Need to exercise your pup? Mini day hikes available too- custom fit for your pups comfort. This summer I am taking a sabbatical to my career job which means more hiking, walks and freedom to spend time with your pet- with flexible scheduling :) While my home offers a wonderful spacious lawn and garden area for the pups with a secure 4' ht enclosed fence, pets are never left unattended in the area. Happy to board with your routine in mind in terms of crating or free range of our home and total pampering. Pet sitting at your home is welcome too!

About: Hello! I’m originally from Virginia but am working in Bar Harbor for the summer and fall season! I have been dog sitting on Rover for over two years now and I absolutely love it. Some other facts about me are that I’m active in my church, love exploring, being in nature, and drinking coffee with friends! I grew up owning dogs and I love them! I have experience in dog sitting overnight and taking them on walks. I am a timely person who will be careful to remember your specific needs and instructions in taking care of your dog. I have experience in staying alert around other dogs and either making sure they will get along before approaching or crossing the street. I’m happy to take your dog for walks and potty breaks throughout the day, and most of all give your dog lots of love, cuddles and good company! I look forward to meeting you and getting to know you and your dog(s)! My work schedule is flexible and I’m not usually gone for longer than 3 to 4 hours. If you have any questions or requests, don’t hesitate to ask! I will care for your pets by giving them lots of pets and taking them on walks. I will be attentive to your pets needs and do everything in a timely manner because I care about caring for your pet! I will also send pictures and updates 2x a day.

About: I have 5+ years experience walking and sitting dogs, from miniature chihuahuas to 100-pound labradors and everything in between. I am available for walks, visits, and dog-sitting in your home/vacation rental. I’m available for walks and visits M T W Th F S after 2pm. I am able to do local overnight sitting any day including Sunday. When house-sitting in a client’s home I take care to make sure their dog has everything they need to feel comfortable, safe, and loved. On walks I always bring backup trash bags as well as snacks (with your approval) and I believe in letting dogs sniff for as long as they want. I also always keep dogs leashed (with the exception of off-leash trained dogs I've worked with for a long time, with owner permission) and practice safety when interacting with other dogs, people, or mysterious things on the ground.

About: Animals have always been a passion of mine. I grew up with several different animals and have always loved being around them and taking care of them! At a very young age I really wanted to work with animals and that same passion of working with them is still the same today! As of right now, my schedule varies! I could be working any shift from 6:30-2:30, 7:30-4:30, 9:15-5:15, or 12:15-5:15. I am a new mom who is trying to make ends meet but working still isn’t helping because daycare is so expensive! I am really trying to pet sit part time or even full time! My weekends and holidays are always open except for the occasional family trips in the summer! I do not have a fenced in yard at my home so that means that your fur babies will be kept on a leash when taking them outside. Your fur babies will also be kept company by 2 friendly dogs and 2 friendly cats! I also have to crate one of my dogs so I can easily crate dogs if needed!
