About: Having owned or worked with almost every kind of animal collectively in the past ten years I can provide all sorts of care to every pet you own. I have worked with puppies and kittens, senior dogs and cats, fish, birds, turtles, bearded dragons, pigs and goats! I cannot wait to get to know your animal and provide them the foundation while you are away or to take them for a walk midafternoon. I am comfortable with RX and special needs. I work part time evenings. I am available most days until 4pm. Available M-T-W until 10pm. For extended stays please see my availability calendar. I will accept 7-14 day extended days whenever I can. I always follow an animals lead. Unless of course when it comes to something directly affecting their health. If a dog does not want to walk I will encourage them too but ultimately we will play instead or simply hang out. When it comes to an extended stay I will stay at your residence for all extended stays.

About: Dakota and I love to make new friends! I am new to this app but I have extensive experience caring for dogs (as well as the occasional cat, fish, rabbit and chicken!). I worked as a dog-sitter while I lived in Australia for 3 years and had over 200 furry clients, many repeat customers, catered to both several long-term stays (3-4 weeks) and last-minute bookings, and received hundreds of 5-star reviews. The photos showcase just a few of the furry (& feathered & finned!) friends we made over the years. I have experience taking care of puppies & senior dogs, and all manner of breeds. I am comfortable providing oral and topical medications. I work remotely from home and make my own schedule so I have a lot of time and flexibility for taking care of your fur-babies! My fur-friends are always leashed when we are outside, unless we get to play in a fenced-in dog park. I can easily meet the expectations and routines that suit you and your four-legged family members.

Kelly P.

“Kelly was great and we would definitely have her care for the pups again. We had peace by of mind that they had a decent break in the middle of a long day alone. She was willing to come to meet us and the pups the day before and we enjoyed hearing about her.”

Stacie R.

“What a gift to have someone as great with dogs (and people) as Stacie! We got a break from our bowzers for a change—and didn’t worry at all about leaving them with Stacie. She went above and beyond, catching our escape artist, Oona, with treats before she could run off. And Stacie let us know our little guy Finnie has a sore on his underside—I hadn’t caught it, and that was a big help (now we’ll treat the area and not do doggy diapering anymore with our little Mr. pee-body—we feel terrible and might have made it much worse if Stacie hadn’t taken the time to see what was bugging him). Oona, Holly & Finn all had a great time with Stacie. It’s clear she knows and loves dogs.”

About: I've taken care of my family's two dogs for three years, from daily walks to nightly cuddles. I have cared for my neighbors cats and have worked at a local shelter to take care of new litters (clean up, outside exposure). When I am at home in Maine, I often wake up to my dogs at my feet. I walk both of them (two boxers, total weight of 160) for at least an hour, feed them, cuddle, and give them an evening walk as well. When taking care of other's animals, I have a large backyard for dogs to play in. I live near many trails to walk on. I live in a communal space with housemates who would love to also play with your pup! When staying in your home, I have spent time in other's spaces when working as a summer cleaner. I will take care of your animal(s) to the best of my ability and can complete household chores if needed. My goal as an animal caretaker is for your animal(s) to feel comfortable and happy in the space.

Annika E.
“Annika has watched my beagle Watson many times over many years (he’s 13!), and I trust her with my dog completely. Watson has always been happy to return to Annika’s. She’s a wonderful caregiver who pays attention to each dog’s needs and any training or food related details.”

Parker M.

“Parker was wonderful! Great updates, even visited during a hurricane!”

Annie A.

“I can’t say enough good things about Annie! She is seriously the best. She goes above and beyond and is so thoughtful. You will be so glad you booked her!”

Leslie J.
“For over 15 years I have watched Leslie care not only for her own pets but many others. She was the one in the community to call if care was needed for a litter of motherless kittens or a rescue dog who needed a home. It is a lucky pet who has Leslie caring for them!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs growing up in my household and was the main caretaker until my dog was 16 years old. I currently have a 3 year old golden, so I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs. I’ve been a consistent sitter for friends and family over the past few years and have been an active dog walker on other apps for the last 5. Whether your dog has puppy energy and needs a big hike or walk, or your dog needs a slow, gentle care, I’m ready to give your dog the attention they need. I’m current working part time on weekends. But during the week, am very flexible. i would be the perfect person to take your dog out in the middle of the day, while you’re at work! I make sure I understand your dogs needs. What is there daily routine? Do they have allergies, health concerns, or medicine needed? Are there behavioral tendencies I should be aware of (aggression, anxiety, socialization)? These will help me understand how to best care for your dog.

Diane G.

“Diane was an excellent choice for us. Great experience and performed exactly as expected. Actually better!! Highly recommend her.”

Sonia B.
“Sonia is excellent with dogs. she has watched my three dogs on multiple occasions (two labs and a mastiff), including walking, feeding, and staying overnight. she also has a deep love for all dogs, and is a very gentle and caring person.”

About: I've had my dog reactive rescue pit/boxer mix for 6 years and every daynis a training day. I know how exhausting and stressful and hard it can be. I'm here to help. I also love all other fur babies! I'm and educator and I'm just looking for some side income during the summer season. Thanks for considering! Besides caring for my dog, which involves two 40 min walks in the morning and afternoon my schedule is open. Travel time would also have to be considered. Sadly I cannot have your fur babies at my house since my dog is not keen on dog visitors. At your home I would prefer to keep to the routine so if you take them for daily walks or just out in the yard then that's what I'll do as well.

About: I’ve spent my whole life with pets in the home, from bottle feeding a litter of newborn kittens to owning five German Shepards. I love animals and enjoy being around them. I currently have a Spynx kitty named Mishka, but sadly no dogs. I will give your pets love and attention as if they were my own! I currently am a college student working towards a bachelors in Enivronmental Science. The best way to de-stress after a study session is by playing with dogs! I am willing to work with any type of animal. Not only will I take them on a walk, but I would love to play with your dog at the park if you would like. I’m available anytime of the day and can do pet sitting at your home.

About: I will treat your pets like the Kings and Queens they are. With the time I have with your pets, I guarantee they will have the most fun, adventure-filled, and exciting time possible. They will always be showered with the love, care, and respect they deserve. I am an independent contractor so there will be no issues related to scheduling as I am flexible and can adjust my own plans accordingly. I have a good understanding of the responsibility inherent in taking care of any animal. It’s not just about doing what you think you should do but responding to and respecting the needs of the animal and them as a unique being.
