About: Hello! I'm Ashley. I am 35 years old. I am from Stuart, FL. I am working in Bar Harbor for the summer and have recently decided to stay through winter until April 2026. I have always been an animal lover and if I could afford a farm and have every type of animal in it... I would. I have owned, dogs, fish, and birds. I have had dogs most of my life. I had a Jack Russell who lived to be 11 years old named Romeo...He was a ball of energy, he had eye problems and needed drops daily. I also had a Rat Terrier named Oliver, we bought him at a year old. He lived to be 14 years old. Most recently my sister currently has a mini golden doodle, who is 4 years old. I loved taking my dogs on the trails in the parks. If I didn’t travel so much, I would love a dog of my own. I work seasonal contract jobs outside the National parks, mainly in the summer season. I go walking everyday & I would love to bring your pup with me. I am renting an apartment but I also work downstairs from it so I can check on them and take them out throughout the day

About: Hi! My name is Amelia and I can't wait to meet your furry family members! Growing up, I had a plethora of animals, including cats, fish, hermit crabs, and hamsters. As I got older, I started to accept dog sitting and dog walking jobs. Now, I have cared for many different types of animals, from dogs, cats, snakes, toads, to chickens. About: I have experience in taking care of dogs and cats since I was 8 years old, including animals that are not my own. I have basic dog training skills along with emergency vet medicine skills from working at a Veterinary ER. I have worked with all ages of dogs and cats in sick and in health. I also can provide basic grooming services, bathing, trims, teeth brushing, and nail trimming. I have experience and training with fractious and aggressive animals and know how handle them safely do no one gets hurt. I am a college student and have classes through out the week. However my class schedule and weekends are quite open and I would love to fill that time caring for your pet/s! I always approach an animal calmly and patiently allowing them to come to terms with me being in their space. I base the time I walk a dog on owners request and the animals tolerance. If the dog looks in distress after 20 minutes I’ll turn back and head home, occasionally stopping so they can catch their breath or be carried if small. If I’m just stopping in to let a dog out I make sure to have them on leash as is state law until entering a fenced area. If requested by the owner or the dog is interested I’ll play with the animal to get in exercise before they have to go inside. For both cats and dogs, I ensure that enough water is accessible and if they need to be fed they have been. For cats if requested by the owner or if it is an extended sitting or stay I will care for the litter box. As an owner of a cat myself I always check once a week to make sure there has been both fecal and urine output from an animal. This is something I can do on request for owners as well. Cats are masters of disguise when it comes to their health. I have worked hard to learn subtle ques and behaviors from cats to help identify a problem. Unfortunately I do not take requests to let a cat outside unless they have been trained on a leash. After working at a veterinary ER and a wildlife center I have decided that I am unwilling to allow a cat outside unleashed and unsupervised. Cats like dogs also require different forms of enrichment and interaction. If your cat/s are playful and social I can provide active enrichment. I also understand that for some cats strangers are not who they wish to interact with. The animals well being is my first priority and what I focus on when caring for them.

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life and currently have two dogs and a cat of my own, so I’m very comfortable caring for pets. I’ve handled a variety of situations, from overnight stays to week-long care, and everything in between, and it’s always gone really well. I’m confident in my ability to take great care of your pets and make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I’m really looking forward to meeting them! I’m a part-time nursing student this summer, so I have a pretty flexible schedule and only have class two days a week. Outside of school, I love being active, going to the beach, and spending time outside with friends. That also means I have plenty of time and energy to give your pets the attention and care they need! I’ll be living in USM housing this summer, so I’m not able to have pets stay with me. However, I’m more than happy to come to you and stay in your home if needed. I’m very flexible and comfortable doing overnight stays to make sure your pets are well cared for in their own environment!

About: Hello! I'm Jess - I'm from Northern California and moved to Maine last year. Growing up we always had dogs (and sometimes cats), so I learned to take care of pets from a young age. I was the go-to person in my neighborhood for pet-sitting and dog-walking. I look forward to meeting you & your fur babies! I'm currently only working through Rover, so my schedule is very flexible right now! I'm available for drop-ins, all-day stays and overnights, as well as for long-term pet-sitting in your home. I love making every animal feel cared for - from playing with them, going on long walks outside, providing pets and cuddles, giving them occasional treats, etc. I care for every pet as if they were my own. I also love to send little text and video updates, so you can check in on them while you're away. I've even done FaceTimes with pets and their owners!

About: My name is Tori Six and I am 31 years old. I’m currently living in Milford, but willing to travel to surrounding greater Bangor areas. I have many years of experience with all animals. I was the owner of a lab mix, a mini dachshund, many Dalmatians, and multiple cats. I’m comfortable with any animal usually, you could call me Pocahontas. I have many years of experience with all aspects of training puppies, including some doggie sign language for commands. I have connections and great resources to parks/areas to play outside and walk. I am available for any pet care needs. I have knowledge of taking care of animals with medical needs from assisting with walking, changing, medications, etc. could do some minor grooming but not certified. I am very compassionate with animals and will treat them like my own family. I hope to be booking with you! I work remotely so have a pretty flexible schedule for any pets needs. I do not have any animals currently. I am a homebody who always prioritize the animals needs. I treat every animal I work with like my own family.
