“Kris was wonderful! Our 2 Corgis seemed to love having him stay with them, and were very happy to see us when we got home. They seemed excited but not anxious or clingy when we got back, which means they had a great time. Communication was good, got some photos and updates, and Kris answered any questions we had about how they were doing very openly. Our cat also opened up to him and bonded with him which is bonus! Would definitely recommend he watch your kiddos 😎”

“I can’t say enough good things about Katherine’s stay with our Bode. She is amazing. Loved the daily updates and she is so sweet and very responsive and communicative. Bode loves her and misses her already.”

About: Hi, I’m Jess! I have had a love for fur babies since I was born. As a high school student (many moons ago) I would dog/house sit for various families. I have my own 6 year old Treeing Walker Coonhound who unfortunately has to live apart from me until I can find a pet friendly apartment so I wanted to offer all the pets/loving/and walks to your doggos!! I only work 4 days a week. My job is overnight for 3 of my shifts so I am available all day to walk and spend time with your fur babies! I have never lived without an animal so I understand the needs of releasing energy and getting plenty of exercise. At this time I can only offer services outsides of my home. I am a 35 year old professional just trying to help out and get walks in with dogs. I am very diligent when it comes to the safety of dogs around other dogs and make sure proper communication between humans happens. I never allow a dog to roam off leash unless instructed otherwise by owners (at home, never on walks). I believe the longer the care list left by the dog/cats human the better so I can take care of everything as close to the pets normal routine as possible! I also would like to point out that we are quickly coming to tick season and I will happily spend time at the end of each walk “tick checking” your fur baby! I know how scary run ins with those little buggers can be.

About: I’ve owned and cared for my own pets since I was 10. Taking care of animals is my main passion. I used to work at a dog boarding kennel and was in the FFA at the career tech center for a year in high school, where I raised baby sheep and grew chickens. I am currently studying to be a zoologist where I hope to go into a career of taking care of animals! I own many pets myself, so I care for them daily and once a week I do a deep clean of all their cages, tanks and enclosures. Caring for animals is part of my daily life routine. I am attentive and have always been good at understanding what animals need/ want. I will never leave ur pets side unless they want alone time. I can play for hours with your puppy or just sit and cuddle your cat or dog. I really enjoy being around animals so it’s a treat just to meet new furry friends.

“Stephanie has been absolutely great. She keeps me updated daily and sends me pictures of our dog. It’s much appreciated. It takes a lot with our dog to warm up to strangers but it seems like it didn’t take long. She must be doing things right. The house is always in tip top shape when we return.”

“This is the second time Michelle has stayed with our two pups and we came home to two happy, well-cared for pets and a spotless home. It is very nice to have a dependable sitter and sets my mind at ease while away from home!”

About: Throughout grade school and parts of college, I always looked after my neighbors pets, kids, and homes. In addition, I grew up and around hunting dogs and in college I occasionally cared for a classmate’s diabetic cat. To this day I help out friends with their pets and homes. I am currently working part-time with flexibility and the availability to provide quality and genuine care for your pets when you are away from home. For the right client, I could have them stay in my apartment with me while I am home. I am open to further discuss the specific needs of your pet to ensure the best care for your pet and comfort to you knowing your fur babies are well taken care of.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a teenager. My mom is a dog groomer, and I've always loved being around animals. I volunteered at animal shelters while living in South Korea. I have a goal of 15,000 steps a day, so dog walking is really the perfect job for me. I just moved back to the United States after 15 years living overseas. I'm currently just readjusting to life in America and looking for a fun, stress-free job. I will not be taking care of pets in my home. I have two cats and they do not like dogs. I also live in a small apartment.

“ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! Not only did we get daily updates of our puppies Breezy took care of our house as well. We had a little mishap with our fridge and she kindly worked with our neighbor to salvage as much as possible. So trustworthy, honest, and fabulous with the puppies!!! Highly recommend and will use again!”

“Jacque is wonderful and most attentive to my senior dog. She communicates with you giving a very comprehensive report on your furry baby. She sends pictures so an know you dog is receiving quality care and love. She is my go to when I'm leaving home for days as a time. She takes very good care of the apartment. I never have to think twice about calling on her services.”

“Maureen was extremely prompt in responding to my inquiry as to whether or not she was available. She was able to have a meet and greet just a few hours later, and was punctual. She is very professional and came in and told me about herself and her was very personable. She came for the booking when she said she would, and sent texts and pictures throughout the day. I could tell my dogs were happy by the pics and when I got home. We have never left our dogs for 12 hours before, not even with family, and I was completely at ease knowing they were in the comfort of their own home and with someone invested in their well being. I would highly recommend Maureen if peace of mind is important when you leave your animals. She will be the first person I call when we need sitting services again. Thank you, Rover! You made the search for a sitter extremely easy, and handle every detail flawlessly.”

About: I retired from teaching in 2023 and moved to TC in June 2024. While living in Grand Rapids, I had 12 families that consistently hired me for overnight stays for their cats and dogs, anywhere from one night to up to two weeks. I love my new home, but am missing my dog snuggles as I'm not allowed to have pets at my condo :-( I would love a chance to snuggle your fur babies, take them on walks, and play with them. I work in the wine industry so my work day starts at 10:30am and ends at 5:30pm during the week and 6pm on Fridays/Saturdays, with Mondays and Tuesdays off. With that schedule I'm able to stay with your pups at your place, take them for for morning walks, and also walks in the evening. Of course there will be lots of loving in the evenings to make up for my time away. I have also worked with pups that have special needs (dietary, physical limitations, and more) I'm also able to do drop-in service and/or walks before or after work if you don't need a house sitter. I'd love to meet your pup/cat prior to my first time staying with them so that we can have a proper introduction and I can ask questions to ensure they have the best care while you're away. Since the passing of my pup Ruby in 2021, I have found pet sitting as a great way to help others while also giving me a chance to love on others' pets. If your pups (and cats) are needing someone to play with, go on walks, or just snuggle with, I'm your person! I have also worked with pups that have special needs (dietary, physical limitations, and more) I know that pets are a part of the family and I want to make sure you don't have to worry while you're away! I'd love to meet you and your pup/cat prior to my first time staying with them so that we can have a proper introduction. I can ask questions to ensure they have the best care while you're away. I want to make the stay as seamless as possible to provide for the comfort of your pets and help you rest easy while you're away.

Whenever I go out of town for extended periods I leave my pet rats with Bernice, and I don't have to think about their safety or care whatsoever when they are with her. They always come back to me happy and healthy! She is loving, kind, understanding, patient, driven, with not only animals but people as well.
