Pet Sitting in Traverse City

About: I’ve grown up with and have had to take care of all kinds of pets ranging from chickens to dogs. My expertise is with dogs and cats because chickens don’t really listen to me. I am open to any of your needs like walking or sitting. I am in school but my schedule is still very flexible and can work with you around it. I’m have not trained puppies but i’m sure there’s a youtube video somewhere out there. I’m currently enrolled at Legacy Aviation Learning Center. I am in school from 7:00am-2:30pm. I have a lunch break at 10:50-11:40 and am open to walking then. I am also free on the weekends. I am unable to care for pets at my home because it is a pet free apartment unfortunately. About: I've taken care of animals all my life. I grew up with cats, dogs, fish, hamsters, you name it! Now, I'm lucky enough to have a cat and a dog of my own, and enjoy helping take care of others' animals as well! I'm currently working full-time from home, which makes it super easy to run out for drop-in visits and dog walks. I'm free most weekdays during the day, or in the evening around dinner time. I'm happy to plan around whatever your pets need! I will follow any and all directions when it comes to taking care of others' pets. I know every animal is different and has various comfort levels when it comes to meeting new people. About: I specialize in small dog breeds with lots of energy and love! I have taken care of small to medium size dog breeds and cats my entire life, both those that have been my own pets and the pets of those I know. Im considerably reliable and very well known for dependability, especially for our furry friends. I currently have a very flexible schedule and would love to accommodate your needs to make the stress less. I drive around the area often and am an early riser! I love to walk dogs in my neighborhood, including lots of sun bathing and a very quiet space. Our neighborhood is Senior citizens and extremely quiet for any anxiety your animal may feel. Beinh retired, there are no children around to worry about and few responsibilities that would hinder me from spending time at your home as well.

Whether that be long or short walks, medication schedules, or any unique needs they may have I’m currently unemployed, I have a free schedule to provide quality time and care to fill your pet care needs. I’m a flexible person who thrives on a schedule so I can adapt to your pets schedule. Treating any pet I live with with care and sensitivity, I treat them as I would toddlers(with a big language barrier). They have needs and ways to communicate them, we just interpret. I hold myself accountable to attend to the pets needs that are communicated by owner and also spend quality time with the pet.

“Better than the best! Having Breezy take care of our fur babies while we were “off the grid” was such a gift. Even before leaving, I knew they were in great hands, as she demonstrated excellent communication, a strong work ethic, and an impressive rapport with both of our pets. Our dog was having separation anxiety, and Breezy was able to successfully trouble shoot ways to increase her interest in eating while we were gone. She also took the initiative to notice the neighborhood trash pick up schedule, wash pet dishes, collect packages, and deadhead our plants. Breezy was also excellent at convincing our senior pets to take their medicine. We returned home to two very happy, healthy, tail-wagging bundles of fluff! I couldn’t be more pleased with our experience with Breezy and would love to have her sit our furry family members again!”

If care happens to be in my home - I have a large fenced-in yard, safe and loving home, and two children who love animals! I typically only take one pet at a time, unless pets are from the same family.

About: I have had pets all my life, I have house, pet and plant sat for 18 years now. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs and cats. Medications are no problem. I enjoy walks just as much as the dogs! I typically travel through a house and pet sitting site. I love it so much I thought I would make it my job! My schedule is flexible. About: I’m easy to talk to and flexible with my availability. I understand life happens and you may need care suddenly or cancel care unexpectedly. I can walk and feed 2-3 times/day. I have experience administering medicine to senior and puppy dogs. I have been a dog owner to a corgi who lived a happy 16 years and more recently to a pitbull mix puppy. I can handle various food preparations, energy levels and routines. Since moving to Michigan, I have 5 years experience dog sitting for 4 families in Traverse City during holiday breaks, weekend overnights, and unexpected potty breaks. I keep houses very clean and tidy anytime I stay overnight. I send daily pics of their animals, communicate clearly everyday that I spend with their fur babies, and respond quickly. I have a degree in Sociology, Multiple subjects K-8 Teaching credential from California and Michigan, 12 units of art from community colleges, and 20 years experience working with children and animals. I used to only be available for holiday breaks and weekends while teaching but I have recently been open to anytime to set my own schedule. Since I do have a puppy, I would ideally have a set weekly or daily routine with you so I could take care of my dog in between. I am open to what your needs would be first. I can crate train, feed, walk, replenish water, play, socialize, train with treats and administer medicine when needed in your home. My apartment building only allows my pet so I can't offer boarding at the moment.
