“We were visiting from out of state and needed someone to come in and check on our dog while we were golfing and shopping. Rebekah was our choice. She stopped in before she said yes to the job to meet our Lab, Tex. Our dog was completely comfortable with Rebekah and she was so good with him. She was prompt and did everything we asked to care for our dog. We hope to use her services again.”

“Noodles has a new best friend. Paigg is reliable, sticks to the schedule, is an excellent communicator and most of all great with Noodles. We will use Paigg again.”

“Virginia did a great job of taking care of my kitty and kept me informed. She was very flexible when I changed my travel dates, which was really appreciated. Would definitely use her again.”

“Better than the best! Having Breezy take care of our fur babies while we were “off the grid” was such a gift. Even before leaving, I knew they were in great hands, as she demonstrated excellent communication, a strong work ethic, and an impressive rapport with both of our pets. Our dog was having separation anxiety, and Breezy was able to successfully trouble shoot ways to increase her interest in eating while we were gone. She also took the initiative to notice the neighborhood trash pick up schedule, wash pet dishes, collect packages, and deadhead our plants. Breezy was also excellent at convincing our senior pets to take their medicine. We returned home to two very happy, healthy, tail-wagging bundles of fluff! I couldn’t be more pleased with our experience with Breezy and would love to have her sit our furry family members again!”

“Melissa was a joy to have as a sitter for our shy kitty! (I’m only sad that he wasn’t more social!). She is a great communicator, very conscientious, consistent, and patient. I would not hesitate to recommend her to others or to request a rebook in the future. Thank you so much, Melissa!”

“Kristen was so great! She left fabulous notes about her visits and my cats seemed very content and well cared for. She drove very far to take care of my kitties and so couldn’t be more grateful”

“Allison was the first Rover sitter we’ve used, and we’re super happy with our experience! She was very responsive, followed our instructions perfectly, and was consistent with visit times and photo updates. I felt confident knowing our cat Chloe was being taken care of while we were away. We will definitely be booking with her again in the future!”

About: Hi there! I've always had a pet in the house, from fish and hamsters to dogs and cats. I'm comfortable with breeds of all sizes (German Shepherds are my favorite!). I've cared for sick and aging pets before, and follow vet instructions to a T. In the past I've helped a family friend's labradoodle learn to walk appropriately on a leash after attending puppy school with my own dog. I recently started a full-time job with typical office hours, so I'm generally available in the evenings during the week and all day Saturdays. I'm always willing to work with pet parents to make sure that their pet is cared for and will adjust my schedule to fit them in when possible! I'm a morning person, so if your pup likes early walks, I'm your gal! I always inform pet parents as early as possible if my schedule changes and will work with them to ensure their pet is safe and healthy. I always follow pet parent instructions and advice on caring for their pet. I understand that all fur babies have different needs, preferences, and personalities, and work to adapt my approach to pet care to make them feel happy and comfortable.
“Paul did a great job taking care of our 3 cats for a weekend. We greatly appreciated that we were able to book with him on short notice and hope that he will be available for future visits.”

About: I am a lifelong animal lover! I’ve grown up around cats and dogs and have always been my friends and families go-to pet sitter. I love all animals as if they’re my own! I’m currently working part time, so I have open availability to walk your pups. I am reliable and typically good on short notice. My M-F schedule slightly differs day to day, but availability is generally 8a-11a and 2p-8p. I am a cat mom, however always grew up with dogs. I have two cats who are endlessly spoiled, which I learned from our spoiled dogs growing up.
“Monika was great! She was very responsive, shared updates before heading to our home, and sent lots of pictures during each visit. She was also very flexible when our schedule changed, which we really appreciated. I will definitely book with Monika again in the future and highly recommend her to others!”

About: Hello, and welcome to the Pup's Place, your dog's home when you're away from home. I have experience in dog walking and sitting, whether it be at your place or mine. My experience lies primarily with small and medium sized breeds but I can provide care for large breeds (40-100 lbs). I'll be honest, I joined Rover as a way to experience all the joys that a dog brings in life after losing my best friend who lived to 21 years old. I'm not ready to get another dog so I hope that caring for yours as I have cared for mine all her life can fill the hole inside my heart, as well as put you at ease knowing your dog is receiving the utmost love and care we both know they deserve. As for availability, I work full time midnight shifts (7pm-7:30am) at the hospital, 3 days a week. I can work around my schedule to meet your needs. Please feel free to message me with questions regarding availability. I look forward to working with you! I work full time at the hospital (3 days a week). My schedule is flexible, so I am able to meet your needs. I can stop by before and after work and if you live near the hospital, I will be able to stop by on my lunch break (2am) if overnight care is needed. I have a fenced in yard, spacious living room and bedroom areas for your babies to hang out, relax, and play. Pets are allowed on the furniture and bed. I do have 2 cats who have experience living with small and medium sized breeds of dogs
“Lisa provided outstanding care for our dog Ellie and cat Sergio during her recent stop-in visits. She had a great understanding of their unique needs and routines. Regular updates and genuine affection for our pets put our minds at ease. Both Ellie and Sergio were happy and well cared for. Lisa was very friendly and personable, and we can’t recommend her highly enough.”

About: I am a long-time lover of animals, and have raised a family of humans, along with a family of pets- large dogs, small dogs, birds, hamsters, mice and turtles. I am currently without a pet, so I care for my backyard squirrels, birds, and chipmunks. I am retired with lots of time, energy, and love to care for your dear pet. I love to walk and hike, live close to the TART trail, and would enjoy the company of a furry friend. Walking trails are just outside my door, and I have space for crates and your furry friend's toys or their own special bed and blanket if preferred for their care and comfort.
About: I’ve grown up with and have had to take care of all kinds of pets ranging from chickens to dogs. My expertise is with dogs and cats because chickens don’t really listen to me. I am open to any of your needs like walking or sitting. I am in school but my schedule is still very flexible and can work with you around it. I’m have not trained puppies but i’m sure there’s a youtube video somewhere out there. I’m currently enrolled at Legacy Aviation Learning Center. I am in school from 7:00am-2:30pm. I have a lunch break at 10:50-11:40 and am open to walking then. I am also free on the weekends. I am unable to care for pets at my home because it is a pet free apartment unfortunately. Rover wants 7 more words but I don’t have anything to say.
About: I used to work at a vet clinic, so I am good with emergencies and handling special instructions. I am professional, organized, communicative and trustworthy. I work from home 99% of the time, so my schedule is extremely flexible and I’ll hang out with your pets as long as needed. What you say goes and you know what is best for your pet, so tell me what you need and I’ll happily make it happen.
About: As a dog owner and sitter, I have had years of experience with dogs of different ages. I have learned to work with their different traits, routines, and personalities when caring for numerous dogs. Returning and new clients have appreciated my photo updates with their pup and can rely on me communicating clearly. As a college student I often have the mornings and evenings open as I tend to have classes in the evening. My schedule frequently changes so I often communicate when I am busy. But I usually have pet owners communicate a time they would like me to pet sit and I try to clear up my schedule. I also can work with last minute requests as well as I know life can be hectic. I ensure safety, communication, and a comfortable environment for your furry friends. When caring for pets in their home, I ensure to follow routines that pet parents write out for me, along with giving them picture updates of their pets.

Paigg has been my cat sitter the past 2 times I've gone abroad for extended trips and she's been amazing! I love her photos and detailed visit notes she sends at the end of every visit. I know she is looking out for my babies and giving them all the love she can while I am away. She will be my go-to for pet sitting whenever she's available. Thank you, Paigg!

Sydney was exactly what we needed for our first time SnowBird winter escape. She was punctual despite horrible weather & a challenging driveway. She was resourceful when there were “issues”. Her communication with us was extraordinary. She is already invited back!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
