1. Jacqueline F.
“This was my first time using Rover so I was a little apprehensive. I was traveling via boat with a stay in Elk Rapids. Jacqueline contacted me ahead of time to confirm my boat’s location and instructions. She followed my instructions and sent me pictures and updates. I highly recommend Jacqueline’s services and will definitely be booking with her again when I am in the area.”
2. Bernice D.
“Hello! I have known Bernice quite literally her whole life, and have always known her to be a pet lover. Her whole family, actually. They have dogs and guinea pigs, a rabbit, a hamster, snakes, lizards, big ole fish, and sugar gliders! Whenever I go out of town for extended periods I leave my pet rats with Bernice, and I don't have to think about their safety or care whatsoever when they are with her. They always come back to me happy and healthy! She is loving, kind, understanding, patient, driven, with not only animals but people as well. I don't think you'd be able to find a better person to help care for pets! I incredibly highly recommend her and have 100% trust and faith in her to take care of these pets as if they were her own.”
3. Sara Q.
About: I grew up with dogs, cats, and guinea pigs. I have not always had a living situation where I was able to have my own pets, and my friends and family relied on me to care for their animals when they went on holiday. I have experience with special needs dogs, and I currently have a senior dog who needs oral medication, eye/ear drops, and other allergy-related care. I have a part-time job as a private tutor for math/science, which happens after school most days. This provides me a flexible schedule allowing for multiple drop-in visits per day for feeding/playtime/outside time for your pet(s). I am a responsible middle-aged adult, entrusted to care for students in a classroom for the last 25 years. I will treat your home and your pet(s) with the same respect I have given to my school/students, making sure that when you return, your home is clean and in the same condition you left it. I am familiar with how to use security systems, and I will take proper precautions with locking doors, windows, etc.
4. Julie N.
“I own a dog boarding and DayCamp business and anytime a customer is looking for more of an in home solution, it's an easy decision to refer Julie. I have had the pleasure of knowing Julie for more than two decades and can personally speak to her love and abilities with pets. Julie also is professional, punctual and extremely easy to work with. It can be stressful finding someone to trust with your pets and Julie will take that stress away as soon as you meet her.”
5. Jonathan P.
“Jonathan was great to work with! He helped our family take care of our pup while we were up north on vacation. Excellent communication and care! His support made all the difference!”

“Mia was great! She kept in touch with us and was a reliable sitter willing to be flexible with our unique situation. We really appreciate her kind and attentive care.”
7. Nicole E.
“Nicole was wonderful!! She took great care of our 2 pups while we were at a wedding. She was super responsive, took lots of great photos and was so appreciative and understanding of our dogs’ quirks. You can tell she is an animal whisperer & the dogs took to her right away. Would recommend her to anyone!”
8. Deanna J.
“Deanna is GREAT! We had to ask her to book with us SUPER last minute and she didn’t hesitate! We had just rescued one of our dogs a few weeks prior to her helping us out, so he still has a lot to learn, and we were up front with her about this and she was EXTREMELY understanding and did a GREAT job with both of our dogs. We hate leaving our dogs but had no choice, and we were so thankful that we didn’t have to worry that they were being taken care of because Deanna was great at communicating everything that was going on, and our dogs LOVED her, we highly recommend her!”
9. Rachel F.
“This was our first time using Rover. We met Rachel before her scheduled visit (SO appreciated). She was on time for the scheduled visit and sent pictures! Will definitely use Rover and highly recommend Rachel.”

14. Abbey S.
About: I have cared for dogs since I was about 8 years old. Walking mine & my neighbors dogs, feeding them, and loving them of course! I’m currently working part-time, so have plenty of time to play with your pups! I will have most availability during the week for stop-ins and walks. I will care for your pets as if they are my own! I absolutely love walking and playing with dogs and will maintain a safe environment for them at all times.
15. Justin R.
“Justin took great care of our 8 month old and 8 year old Beagles. Great for walks and overnight sitting. He is a vet student, so I feel very comfortable leaving my dogs in his care. Cannot recommend enough!”
16. Cassie O.
“Cassie was fantastic. She came to meet my cats before the scheduled dates. She is very calm and collected. She made me feel comfortable essentially having a stranger come in to check on my cats while I was gone for a few days. She is really good communicating and sending photos. I will definitely use Cassie again in the future.”
17. Sonya H.
“Sonya was great! She did two separate drop insurance and it looked like our pup had a blast. Thank you!”
18. Claire H.
“Claire is a dog’s dream! An active and attentive person, I would trust Claire with my very best doggo-buddies. She is caring and gentle and loves to see a dog thriving. She is organized and responsive. She is a gal that walks for miles and usually has at least one dog in tow. She is my go-to for looking after my dogs, the old and needy as well as the young and energetic!”
19. Amber L.
“Amber was great! The boys were very happy and content when we got home! Highly recommend her and we will be booking with Amber again.”
20. Shawn L.
“Shawn was my neighbor in Grand Blanc, MI and she used to watch my extremely naughty husky as a favor, when I was out for work too long and she never ever complained about his behavior, she is extremely accommodating to animals. Apart from that, she was one of the very few people in our apartment complex who could be seen walking their dog even in 2 feet of snow. Knowing Shawn as a neighbor and pet owner, I highly recommend her a pet caregiver!”
