About: I began taking on house/pet-sitting jobs for family and family friends at age 15. At 16, I expanded my experience by taking on jobs for other clients after starting a boarding position at Suttons Bay Animal Hospital. After approximately one year in that position, I advanced to an assistant role, gaining additional hands-on experience in animal care and veterinary services. Now, at 18, I am planning to begin online coursework this fall to pursue my goal of becoming a licensed veterinary technician. I work full-time at Suttons Bay Animal Hospital, typically working three to four 10-hour shifts per week. My weekends are usually fully available, and I have a lunch break around 12:00–1:00 p.m., which allows me to stop by and let pets out during that time. My schedule can vary slightly from week to week, but I’m happy to coordinate in advance to make sure your pets receive the care and attention they need. I provide pet care in my clients’ homes rather than my own home. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs of my own, so I understand the importance of a safe and comfortable environment for pets. I am experienced with dogs of different needs and can provide walks, outdoor time, feeding, companionship, and other care as needed. I am also comfortable with crate-trained dogs and will follow your pet’s normal routine and any specific instructions you provide.

About: I grew up in a small town in Northern Michigan where animals weren't just pets, they were part of everyday life. Surrounded by dogs, cats, and farm animals from a young age, I developed a natural comfort and respect for animals that only comes from experience. Growing up with American Bulldogs taught me early that strong, high energy dogs require patience and confidence, but mostly just a whole lot of love. Starting in middle school, family and friends began trusting me with their pets, and through that I've learned there's no adventure or day that isn't better with a furry friend by your side. My most hands on experience includes caring for three dogs at once with very different needs: a yellow Lab puppy with endless energy, a senior black Lab requiring mobility assistance, and a spirited Shih Tzu who was unaware of her age and physical limitations. Managing all three taught me how to balance high energy, gentle handling, and individual attention all under one roof. As an online student also working toward my Pilates certification this summer, my schedule is accommodative in all the right ways. I live on the Boulder Hill and are largely home during the day, which means I can assist your pets in a timely manner. I share a home with two other animal loving roommates and a rescue cat who mostly keeps to herself. None of my animals currently live with me, which means your animal has my full attention! My backyard is fully fenced though I enjoy accompanying your pet outside regardless to get fresh air myself. I've accommodated pets of all leisure and am happy to follow the rules you have in place. I drive a reliable truck and have the time, flexibility, and energy to give your pet the attention they actually deserve. When visiting a client's home, all of that still applies! I take your space, your routines, and your trust seriously, and having worked professionally as a house cleaner, leaving things tidy and respected is just how I operate.
