For me, it is not just about keeping your dog alive until you return, it is also about earning your dog’s trust through affection and attention. I will treat them no differently than I treat my own dog. I pride myself on making my home your dog’s ‘home away from home’. This is NOT a kennel. Your dog will have full access to my entire dog-friendly home. I live right in town Traverse City on a quiet street (which turns out to be quite convenient for most of my clients who are visiting from out of town). I have a completely fenced-in backyard for your pup to wander about, as well as an overflowing toy bin and their pick of any couch, chair or bed that they want to claim during their stay! If you are a Traverse City resident, I also offer dog walking or drop-ins at your home if your dog does not do well in a social setting or just simply prefers the comfort of his or her own home.
