About: Many years in the veterinary medicine field has shaped my skills for medicating and treating pets of all shapes and sizes, but I have had a love for animal behavior and the unspoken relationships with them for as long as I can remember! I look forward to creating and nurturing a relationship with all the animals I meet, as well as their owners. I pride myself on the attention to detail I provide in my care, and can’t wait to spend some time with your pets! I am currently working part time, and would love to spend some time with your pets on my off days. Available for some morning and evening walks through the week as well! About: Been dog sitting for about 4 years now, we unfortunately can’t get a dog of our own but would love to care for others furry family members. Morning walks between 7am and 10am are a must for me. Having a furry friend to come a long with is always a plus! Have experience at most of the dog parks in the area. We don't have pets currently but I care for others pets by talking to them, they can understand us right? Always on leach. Respecting others dogs' space. Lots of good boy or girl pets and scratches! And enforcing rules the owner wants me to follow :)

About: Cat person for life. I currently have four, as well as an Australian shepherd. I used to travel a lot for work, so I understand how stressful it can be making sure the four legged babies have everything they need when away. I’m here to help any way I can, whether it’s giving a medication or helping with the potty stuff! I recently left a demanding corporate job and currently am very flexible - morning, evening, during the week or on the weekend! **Due to several issues with owners not being on time for drop off or pick up, I want to add that when accepting a booking, the time is very important as well as the day as other appointments may be on my schedule that day. It is very important that the drop off and pick up times selected are accurate for smooth transitions.** I would care for the pet as instructed by the owner. I understand all animals have their own personality and preferences and their owners know best. I also want the owners to feel comfortable knowing their pet is in good hands while they are away!

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have hands on experience for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities! Growing up, my mom trained dogs professionally, which gave me early experience to dog behavior and proper pet care. Throughout high school, I regularly helped care for up to 10 dogs at a time, assisting with daily routines, exercise, feeding, and general care. I also grew up with a cat, and have always loved spending time with cats just as much as dogs. I understand that every pet has their own personality and comfort level, and I strive to make them feel safe and comfortable in yalls home. During college, I worked as a nanny for a family and was responsible for walking and caring for their two Great Danes. This experience gave me great confidence in handling larger breeds, and reminded me how important it is to be consistent and reliable. Whether it’s a walk, a drop in visit, or overnight care, I will treat your pet just like family and provide you with updates, so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I work full time Monday through Friday from 8AM-5PM at the Community Mental Health in downtown Traverse City, but have some flexibility. I am available for dog walks and drop in visits for an hour any time between 12PM-2PM during the week. I am available from 5:30PM-11 PM Monday-Friday, and have open availability on Saturdays and Sundays. Your pets safety and comfort are my top priorities. I understand that inviting someone into your home and trusting them with a beloved family member is a big decision, and I take it seriously. When caring for pets in their own home, I strive to keep their normal routine as closely as possible. Whether that means feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication routines, or just spending quality time together, I know that consistency helps pets feel secure and comfortable while their parents are away. I am always respectful of clients’ homes and will always follow care instructions carefully. I pay close attention to detail, keep doors and gates secure, monitor pets, and communicate promptly if any concerns arise. About: I love dogs more than humans and would treat your dog like my own. I am very active and enjoy going for several walks throughout the day. I also am working part time so I always be available and accommodating for any special requests/needs. I am also a nurse and am familiar with giving medications and would feel comfortable doing so for your pup if needed. I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to play with your pups and take them for long walks. I live by several trails that I take my own pup to often. I own my own house and have a large backyard with a dog run. There are also several trails near by that I’d love to take your dog to!
