Hi my name is Mackintosh (they/them pronouns). I’ve been dog sitting and taking care of pets since I was 10 years old. In my family home we had two Shih Tzu‘s, two miniature schnauzers and a pitbull. Now as an adult I have my own pup who is a pitbull terrier mix and he is well trained. Through my experience in training my own dog, I have worked with professional trainers to correct all sorts of behaviors. My dog is a rescue from Detroit, and I am well versed in how to care for pets with trauma and history of being a stray. I can work with dogs who are reactive as well as dogs that are afraid of people. I am calm, loving, and accepting which is sensed by pets who are nervous around new people.

In my home, my dog is treated with so much love and care. He is a rescue from Detroit and requires a lot of patience. I have been working on his training ever since I brought him home in 2020. He is around 4.5 years old now and has come so far in his journey. I know it’s cliche, but I love pups with my whole heart, and if I walk into a room with a dog, you can bet I will be snuggling the pup in under 3 minutes.

Schedule
As of September 7th 2026 I will have open availability for any pet car that is needed. In previous years of doing rover, I was working around my M-F 7:30-4:30 job.
