Teacher mom and pet mom!
I have grown up with both cats and dogs, and then when I was able to I had two large breeds of my own for many years. Currently, we have a 2-yr old Bernese mountain dog and an older cat at home. I’m a teacher with a very open availability during summer and would love to fill it with taking care of your dogs - any breed but happy to provide confidence for high energy larger breeds.

I love to walk and exercise and am happy to take your dog for long walks as needed. Alternatively if they’re at my house, they can play with our Bernese Mountain Dog in the backyard for endless hours! Our yard is fenced in and the gates are always locked.

Kristen was just great and our golden, Sutton loved spending time with her. We so appreciated her communication/updates with us while we were gone and loved the photos, too! Her caring, gentle nature showed through when our Sutton stood in the driveway looking sad when she left. We would definitely have Kristen stay with Sutton again. A very positive experience.

Kristen was such a wonderful sitter to our young and high energy lab. Schedule
I’m a full-time teacher, so if you’re booking during the summer my availability is pretty widely open to meet your pets needs. If it’s during the school year, the weekends are there for loving your pet.

- Let me know about medications, special dietary routines, and any behavioral concerns you may have. I also need to know about dog reactivity beforehand so I can prepare our walks appropriately. Any boarding situation needs to do a meet and greet with my Bernese Mountain Dog and must be friendly with children. Boarding is not appropriate for dogs with unknown experience around children. Excited and hyper is completely understandable! Daycare situations are dependent on the length of stay being requested. Longer than 5 hours requires a meet and greet beforehand. Dogs that do not like cats are fine as ours can stay in the basement, however that does need to be communicated.
